Cahill or Ivan? Is there much difference?
Open ControlsSignificant difference, Ivan all the way. more likely to score from open play and higher assist potential.
Open ControlsAgree.
Ivanovic. And he is out of the 1ºst leg, fresh for SUN and trip do LIVOpen ControlsNot so sure this is the case the way their playing under Mourinho with the full backs not pressing forward as much.
Ivan has scored 7 pts more but played nearly 400 minutes more.
Cahill 1 goal 2 assists 16 bonus 2 yellows
Ivan 3 goals 1 assist 15 bonus 7 yellows
Cahill still cheaper so I would argue the case for Cahill.Open Controls
Cahill over a long period for baps. I'd say Ivan is more likely to pick up the assist or goal. Saying that surely Cahill is due one?....please?! I've had him for ages 🙂

Dgw's separate the hardened fpl player from the casual....agree?
Open Controlsyou could say so...but would we have predicted Jerome and Wickham being in the dream team lol
Open ControlsGreat question.... My answer is a firm yes. I think some casuals (I'm pointing at my brother!) get lucky with DGW's in terms of players they happen to own for DGW's and fluke it. I've seen quite a few in my mini league. Most casuals fail. I think most here look atleast 3 games ahead in contemplating transfers. It's like chess...the more moves ahead you can get your head around the better you're likely to be! But then...everyone loves a knee jerk!
+1 for the question 🙂Open ControlsHeavy investment pays off at least 80% of the time. Over the past 2 seasons, i cannot remember a DGW that did not pay off. The same could be said for navigating around blank weeks which usually precede DGW's
Open ControlsI'd agree. It certainly did pay off for me to plan well and invest over the last 2 DGW's and the late use of my WC into GW 31. This week with 69 doesn't reach my expectations of the game week I had in my head but considering the injuries and benchings this DGW has paid off as I still scored more than my rivals in my money league. By and large I'd say it pays to play.

10 yellow cards for zabaleta. No 2 game suspension? O.O
Open Controlsno it was reset after the Liverpool game...that's why stevie g no longer has the problem
Open Controlscount increased to 15 YCs after Liv vs MCity game..
Open Controls
Yaya to who? Already got Mata
Open ControlsTony Pulis should win MOTY.
Open ControlsWin all games and the title is ours.
Let's do this Jose.Open Controls- Open Controls
Anyone else see Bale's majestic run down the left flank to win Madrid the Copa Del Rey.
What a player.Open ControlsHe ran out checked the PL scores, had a burger and still had time to destroy Bartra. 20 goals 18 assists already.
Open Controls- Open Controls
I was jumping in living room when he scored that, what a guy
Open Controlssimpky amazing! proving to be one of the best!
Open Controls
Why o why did I choose Lallana over Puncheon? ðŸ™
Idiot, that's why.Open ControlsWe're those two playing together in League 1 not so long ago? Alongside the likes of Fonte and Lambert I guess. What a team they must have had for that level.
Open Controls*were
Open Controls
He massively over performed, even the most optimistic Puncheon owners were not expecting a 23.
Open ControlsBecause he's the better player on the better team
Open ControlsIf only getting FPL points worked out so logically!
Open ControlsI thought long and hard about Erikson vs Puncheon and I still think Erikson was the rational choice, just didn't see Puncheon getting anything against Everton. He had 3 goals all season before the DGW. Can't beat yourself up too much, Lallana coulda easily had a few.
Open Controls
Because you're sensible. No one would have predicted punch to out score Lallana
Open Controls
Trying to stop a run of red arrows, what would you do here?
Boruc (urgh)
Baines, Coleman, Zabaleta
Eriksen, Gerrard, Lallana, Toure
Aguero, Suarez, Lukaku
4.0, Ward, Olsson, Canas
0.4 in the bank, no free transfer
Toure->Nasri for a hit? Would free up funds for Lallana->Mata the next week. The other big problems are three Everton and Boruc as far as I can see.Open ControlsYeah, you've identified the problems. Just gotta get rid of them. Do Toure > Nasri. And then you can do Lallana > Mata and then one of Baines and Coleman > a United defender.

Sturridge to Aguero for a hit. Worth it?
Open ControlsSturridge > Aguero for a hit. Worth it?
Open ControlsYeah, I did it last week.
Open Controlsno...i would wait for the pressers...too much uncertainty atm
Open Controlswhy? did he limp off yesterday? ( Was watching the El Clasico)
Open Controls
Is it Giroud time again? He takes a lot of crap, but he's been pretty productive all year long. I think he's going to be my Lukaku replacement this week or next.
Open ControlsI don't think Lukaku->Giroud is worth a transfer.
Open ControlsLook at the fixtures though. Manchesters United and City and Southampton for Lukaku and West Brom, Newcastle and Norwich for Giroud (And both get Hull)
Open ControlsI see Lukaku as more likely to score vs big sides.
Giroud is a bit meh, and will probably score once in those 3 games.
I'd look elsewhere .. Adebayor probably, If I wasn't waiting on RVP/Rooney.Open Controls
That donkey will not see my team without a DGW. I'd rather Ram/Kos/Ox/Pod
Open ControlsHe may be a donkey but he's been pretty good this year, especially in "easy" fixtures.
Open Controls
Not sure yet, but Gru could definitely be worth a shot. My plan is still Rooeny, but not sure on his injury situation
Open ControlsI thought he was out for the season? Or was that not official?
Open ControlsIn that case I've missed it. Didn't know it was confirmed. Feck
Open ControlsI was just going off this: http://metro.co.uk/2014/04/11/wayne-rooney-ruled-out-for-the-rest-of-season-with-toe-injury-4695707/
Which looking more closely, certainly doesn't seem definitive. No quotes, just speculation.Open ControlsAh. Cheers man!

Please don't tell me silva is going to be out next week... i got him before the game....
Open Controls52 all out. Thanks a lot City!
Special hate goes out to Zabaleta for his 0 points from two games.
I might hate transfer him out for a hit now.
Zab > anyone -4 seems good yes?Open ControlsRage hit, I like it! Strike now before cool logic convinces you he's worth keeping for the week 37 double
Open ControlsNot much better myself.
55 pts.
Zabs Yaya Silva Lukaku Captain.

Open ControlsGood stuff!
Open ControlsOnly caught the end, but yeah felt odd seeing faces to the voices. Bit like watching the movie of a favourite book and seeing that they've cast different looking actors to how you imagined!
All good stuff though. Well done.Open ControlsJust finished it.. Loved it. Great that you got Mr Weston in as well
Open Controls
Only just seen it. What an amazing season Bale has had. Hit the ground running.
Open ControlsYeah he's doing really well.
Glad to see it.Open ControlsNo more second fiddle for him
Open ControlsTheir media are still on his back though, poor lad.
Open ControlsThose people are idiots.. TMZ sports level idiots
Open Controls
think i prefer him to ronaldo. bale can be brilliant whilst still blending in with the team, ronaldo seems to turn the rest of the team into 10 fluffers
Open ControlsMadness...
Bale is the Aaron Lennon to Ronaldo's ... Well..... Bale.Open Controls
Think I'm going to stick with Sturridge and do Lukaku -> Aguero

Turning to the next GW, I think the best to replacements for an injured Yaya would be two non-DGWers - Ramsey and Eriksen.
It seems like Ramsey could easily carry on where he left off given promising signs and great fixtures, and Eriksen is just in great form.
I think I will ignore Mata, Gerrard and Sterling. Mata is tempting due to the dgw, but if RVP and Rooeney come back before the DGW, he loses all appeal. Gerrard and Sterling look good picks but I think Ramsey and Eriksen are simply easier to justify given better fixtures.Open ControlsThe only DGW mids I like the look of are Nasri/Silva, but most people seem pretty loaded up on those. I suppose Silva would jump ahead of the others if you don't already own them, maybe Nasri too
Open ControlsI think Mata is a must for dgw. im doing Yaya>Eriksen this week. Mata next week.
Open ControlsIf RVP and Rooney both play though he is useless. The best we can hope for is one assist
Open Controls
United can still make the CL. Just need more mediocre performances from Arsenal and Everton. I think 5th is a distinct possibility if United beat Everton and Everton lose to City. I think Spurs, United and Everton will finish on a similar amount of points. Just hoping Arsenal struggle to perform well in their remaining games.
Open ControlsIt's a possibility but with a low probability.
Ramsey back for Arsenal, Ozil and Wilshere returning.Open ControlsAnd of course Wenger is a specialist at getting 4th. Yes it would need something to go a little crazy for United to pip them.
Open Controls
Nah, can't see Arsenal messing up that bad. Europa League looks most likely, which could be a bad thing.
Open ControlsNot this season unfortunately. That starts from next season.
Open Controlsshame..would rather CL or nothing..Europa league will just complicate our league form and fitness with Thursday matches..
Open ControlsI think the EL will be good for us. Will keep us being used to playing in europe and will provide us with a competition we might even win. Also the winner of the EL is guaranteed a place in the CL.
Open Controlspossibly, I just feel with Moyes' training regimen coupled with only 2 days rest at times, we could have a lot of injury problems next season
Open ControlsWe will be better equipped than a lot of PL teams which qualify. Our squad is a decent size so we should be able to cope.
Open Controlsespecially if Moyes is no longer here, if you ask me. good guy, good manager, not good enough for United. no shame in it, but I think that's the truth.
Open ControlsYou're probably right. I'll reserve my judgement while I still see a glimmer of hope, however he'll need to be on his game at the beginning of next season if he is retained at the helm.
Open ControlsI mean the fact that it took an RVP knee injury for him to realize that his formations and tactics couldn't support both RVP and Rooney on the field, what with RVP being a superior striker to Rooney and Mata being a superior #10, speaks volumes.
hell, one of the best games we've played this season was against Newcastle (I know) with Kagawa, Mata and Chicha linking up..Open Controls
I highly doubt Arsenal will let it slip from here looking at their fixtures. Hull (A), Newcastle (H), West Brom (H), Norwich (A). Hull and Newcastle have nothing to play for and West Brom and Norwich look awful, relegation battle or not. Arsenal don't look great but I think they'll sneak fourth after Everton's result today.
Open ControlsApart from Newcastle those games are tougher than they look as some are fighting relegation and Hull will be a precursor to the cup final
Open ControlsLove the alternate viewpoint but I think you're really shifting the facts to suit your opinion. Newcastle is a bye at the moment, I can't see the logic in Hull doing any better in the League match just because it's the same matchup as the Cup final, and West Brom may well be safe by that match anyway. Norwich will be a scrap, but still. You just need so much to go wrong here.
Open Controls
Lmfao what a joke
Open ControlsStranger things have happened. Look at Crystal Palace
Open Controls
Yaya -> Mata done. I'm backing United to beat Everton and Mata to be the main guy while Rooney/RVP are out.
