Our coverage of the official UEFA Fantasy Champions League game returns this afternoon. With just four teams left in this year’s competition, our options are a little restricted ahead of tonight’s 7.30 pm deadline – nonetheless, we still manage to hand-pick a differential from each of the remaining sides for your consideration:

Filipe Luis – the Atletico left-back sets you back just 5.5 ahead of tonight’s home encounter with Chelsea. With Eden Hazard a major doubt, the visitors are likely to be stunted in attack against a side that have been mean in defence all season; the La Liga leaders have conceded just 22 times in 34 league games this term and with Jose Mourinho bound to keep it tight, Luis – owned by less than 3% of Fantasy managers – looks a real differential worth considering.

Fernando Torres – with Samuel Eto’o set to miss out due to a knee injury, the script looks set for the 9.0-priced Spaniard to lead the line against his former club in tonight’s first-leg. Torres will always have his critics but there’s no doubt he has a tendency to pop up with goals in the matches that matter most – the chance for him to ‘not celebrate’ a winner against his old team could well be the big story of the last four.

Gareth Bale – Real’s summer signing is back in full training after recovering from flu earlier in the week. With Cristiano Ronaldo poised for a return from injury, Carlo Ancelotti will surely target a Bayern backline that struggled against Man United’s pace through the centre in the previous round. Available for 12.0, Bale notched an oustanding winner in last week’s Spanish Cup final triumph over Barcelona and welcomes the defending champions to the Bernabeu in his best form of a superb debut season.

Thomas Muller – handed a brief 17-minute run-out for the weekend win over Braunschwieg, the Bayern forward will be fully refreshed for tomorrow’s trip to Spain. Priced at 11.0, Muller has a habit of netting vital goals in the big games and, with four strikes in his last six Champions League matches, will be confident of finding the net against a Madrid side that has mustered a mere three clean sheets in their 10 matches in this season’s competition.

My team looks pretty much set up for the DGW, so I think ill use my free transfer next week, if I get no injuries, on Marshall. Currently have Adrian as well, and they both have crap fixtures. Who would you prefer?

    A) De Gea - SUN HUL sot.
    B) Mannone - mun WBA SWA.
    C) Cech - NOR car. (Triple Chelsea defence.)
    D) Szczesny WBA nor. (Double Arsenal defence.)

I'd expect some of the old boys to come in for the second of the DGW fixtures since it'll be their sendoff from the Old Trafford 'faithful' to neither are nailed for the rest of the season.

Should I do Silva > Nasri or Yaya this week? Would be a -8. I can afford to have both and will most likely go for both, getting the one I didn't get this week next week.

    Team is:

    Adrian Gazzaniga
    Coleman Azpi Ward Chester Baker
    Eriksen Ramsey Mata Delph Silva
    Rooney Aguero Suarez

    ie.
    A) Do nothing this week.
    B) Do Silva > Nasri for -8.
    C) Do Silva > Yaya for -8.

The urgency of this depends on whether Silva will drop tonight. Will he?

So i see old Giggsy is taking charge at OT now! Probably a decision that had to be made eventually.

We think Man U will have something extra now that the cloud over OT has been lifted? The fans got what they wanted and will be fully behind the legend that is Ryan Giggs.

      Rooney © for certain now.

DGW players, unless you have eyes on a third City player already, i would look at Demi.

          - personally id use the option for a third City player in midfield or Aguero but if you won't get them, Demi would be my man for the job.

I already have Aguero. The problem is i already have to sell Silva(probably for Mata) and i'm short on defenders, considering that putting two Chelsea defenders against Liverpool in my starting 11 would not my dream option.

I guess my advice would be:

              Priority 1. City players (3)
              Priority 2. Defender

If you have a plan for your three city players and they don't include a second defender, go with Kosc.

If you have no plans for a third City player, make Demi your new defender.

              That's how i'd play it.

Can't find much mention made, so I have to ask...

Is nobody worried that management change at Utd might put a dent in United's FPL prospects?

Rooney, Mata, etc... great players, undoubtedly and everyone in the team knows how to play the game without a manager yelling, but can Giggs keep them together against two teams who will fight tooth and nail to escape relegation?
United have nothing to play for, no incentive to produce.
Is it not possible that the lack of motivation and lack of consequence conspire to produce FPL disappointment?

I think it's going to have the opposite effect. Moyes has been a cloud over OT for fans and players.

With him lifted it's likely to be a better run in IMHO

      I just posed the following:

"We think Man U will have something extra now that the cloud over OT has been lifted? The fans got what they wanted and will be fully behind the legend that is Ryan Giggs.

      Rooney © for certain now."

      Above.

United have a lot of pride and the players will have something to prove. They won't be taking it easy.

I definitely think the players will come out gang busters. The weight and woe have lifted and will be replaced by impassioned play. That's my feeling, anyhow.

        Provisionally,

Distin (injured), Chambers (benched), Lallana, Lukaku

I could keep Lukaku and Distin if he'll play but not too keen to hang on. May not take the Arsenal boys though, might shop elsewhere.

    A) Mirallas > sub 5.6, and then Lukaku > Rooney next week (both free)

    B) Lukaku > Podolski for free this week, then either Rooney or Mata in for a hit next week

    Thoughts appreciated!
