Our coverage of the official UEFA Fantasy Champions League game returns this afternoon. With just four teams left in this year’s competition, our options are a little restricted ahead of tonight’s 7.30 pm deadline – nonetheless, we still manage to hand-pick a differential from each of the remaining sides for your consideration:

Filipe Luis – the Atletico left-back sets you back just 5.5 ahead of tonight’s home encounter with Chelsea. With Eden Hazard a major doubt, the visitors are likely to be stunted in attack against a side that have been mean in defence all season; the La Liga leaders have conceded just 22 times in 34 league games this term and with Jose Mourinho bound to keep it tight, Luis – owned by less than 3% of Fantasy managers – looks a real differential worth considering.

Fernando Torres – with Samuel Eto’o set to miss out due to a knee injury, the script looks set for the 9.0-priced Spaniard to lead the line against his former club in tonight’s first-leg. Torres will always have his critics but there’s no doubt he has a tendency to pop up with goals in the matches that matter most – the chance for him to ‘not celebrate’ a winner against his old team could well be the big story of the last four.

Gareth Bale – Real’s summer signing is back in full training after recovering from flu earlier in the week. With Cristiano Ronaldo poised for a return from injury, Carlo Ancelotti will surely target a Bayern backline that struggled against Man United’s pace through the centre in the previous round. Available for 12.0, Bale notched an oustanding winner in last week’s Spanish Cup final triumph over Barcelona and welcomes the defending champions to the Bernabeu in his best form of a superb debut season.

Thomas Muller – handed a brief 17-minute run-out for the weekend win over Braunschwieg, the Bayern forward will be fully refreshed for tomorrow’s trip to Spain. Priced at 11.0, Muller has a habit of netting vital goals in the big games and, with four strikes in his last six Champions League matches, will be confident of finding the net against a Madrid side that has mustered a mere three clean sheets in their 10 matches in this season’s competition.

I'm doing the same but without the Azpi move, at best you'll probably break even there and will be right in the sh*t if Arsenal concede in the next two.

      Silva to Ramsey, that's a no-brainer.

The rest, meh... pick one. I'd never do them all.

Any hopes that I had of my ML rivals maybe not picking up Ramsey seem to be dashed. Especially with both Silva and Mirallas exiting stage left. Time to try to find a differential that isn't such an obvious one. Wish me luck, boys, I'm going in. I may never come out.

I agree with Pizza here. Silva out for whoever. Ramsey has the better fixture, but taking into account next week's double United gameweek, you'd want Mata... then again, you're willing to take a 12 pointer, so you won't mind anyway.

Silva out for Ramsey now. As for the rest, it looks good, but I wouldn't get rid of Asspiecutie.

Stuff it - gone for a 12 point this week to get rid of Lukaku, Mirallas, Silva and Snodgrass.

Ignoring my moment of madness hows this looking?

    Boruc
    Demel - Demichillis - Dann
    Eriksen - Gerrard - Ramsey - Mata
    Rooney (C) - Aguero - Suarez.

did my coleman and lukaku to rooney and jones transfer on sat night due to price rises.

now with silva out im forced to play double chelsea defence vs pool.

should i take another hit to bring in koscielny for ivanovic.

i am planning on doing this regardles next week to fund silva to yaya. so it doesnt really matter whether i take a -8 this week and no hit next week or two -4s

keeping that in mind should i do the -8 this week or take a -4 next week

Wow, in the 35 gameweeks played I've had a grand total of 24 points from autosubs. I've seen people get more than that in 1 week! I would really benefit from Granville's proposed half points for autosubs!

Half points for subs is a ridiculous idea. People are getting penalised for picking a full squad, just because others didn't have the nous to pick a decent bench.

don't ask me why, but already on a -4 with

    Boruc Adrian

    Cahill Azpi Distin Ward Bardsley

    Silva Mata Ramsey Eriksen Mutch

    Suarez Rooney Aguero

Can easily bench Silva this week and play Mutch ... but is it worth taking another hit and bringing in Nasri? Alternately taking a hit to bring in Demichelis for Distin, and doing Silva to Yaya for free next week (if Yaya confirmed fit).

Everyone's opinion counts in football unfortunately. And it is true, not rumour, he played it all out in front if the worlds media to gain favour with his new fans. Sad really, I used to have a lot of respect for the man.

What happened at utd has nothing to do with how I feel about him. I always thought he wasn't the right man but he's a very good manager. He should have been given time no doubt. If I was a utd fan I'd be truly miffed at the Glaziers who have embarrassed the club and it's previous manager.

Aye. Look I can't say he didn't make mistakes, he did but to bring a man of that level into a dressing room full of gigantic egos, Fergie looming over him and leaving him to deal with mercenaries like Rooney... It was entirely unfair. He is partially the scapegoat for a rotten system.

I really do wish things had been different, I think it says a lot is wrong when a hard working and decent/nice man is taken to pieces by a club, I wish him all the best and that he finds a club where players respect him from day one (or at least have the damn courtesy to listen to him).

Well, he has himself, and his quiet dignity. And many, many ordinary fans support.

True, my respect for him has not been dented in any way.

The club however have a fat child that sits on his arse, eats junk food and is earning the same wages as Lionel Messi. They also have a shower of pretentious little twerps that think they know better. De Gea and a couple of others are the only ones that struck me as loyal and willing to learn, the likes of Vidic, Rio, Carrick etc. can f**k royally off.

That's pretty much what I said, just in a different way. He was never going to be the right fit not so much because of himself, but perhaps more because of the overall situation. He did get a pretty raw deal, but honestly, I didn't think he had the presence to effectively handle what was going on. It all got out of control quite quickly.

I do understand what you're saying, I certainly think pitting him against such egos and expecting him to do well was wholly unfair. As soon as things went even a little sour he was doomed to the inevitable "Well we've won the PL before and you haven't so why should we listen to you?" attitudes. To leave him to essentially rebuild the midfield and sort the attitudes out was purely unfair, Fergie has a lot to answer for in that front. I mean Fergie could have even stayed on with Moyes for a month or two in the Summer to coordinate some transfers and team tactics, help him learn a bit too about how United play and instead it was literally "Right, their your problem now, I'm off to Belize".

Yep. Exactly. Not so sure why Doosra got so bent out of shape with me. The whole setup just seemed doomed, and we watched it all unfold rather unceremoniously. I don't usually feel sorry for millionaires ( I assume Moyes is one), but I truly do feel a little sorry for the guy. It was always going to be tough to replace Fergie. That's for sure. I suspect some more "growing pains" moving forward, but I guess all sports clubs have to drive down bumpy roads every now and again, no matter how legendary they are.

Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing that I don't feel sorry for millionaires but I genuinely do for Moyes.

Exactly, he had a lot of stinking attitudes and ageing players, he needed more time in my view to even attempt to make his mark.

I'm back and forth on the notion that maybe some more time was justified. Deep down, I think he deserved better. Guess that about sums it up for me.

You may even be right, but there is no test employment for managers, especially at a club like Manchester United. It's absurd to argue that Moyes had no idea where he was walking into, or that Fergie should have stuck around to hold his hand. He has to shoulder a fair share of the blame for the state the club's in at this point.

That said, it depresses the violet eff out of me to see yet another manager given the old tin tack without so much as giving him a bloody season to work things out. I thought Gary Neville was spot on about the whole affair.

There's no test at all. And no, I'm not absolving Moyes of anything either. He knew it was a big responsibility, a big step up but I have a feeling he didn't appreciate how big it was because he's never had to deal with so called "superstars" before, he simply had no precedent.

As for sticking around, all I meant by that was a month in the Summer pre-season to talk with Moyes, help him adjust to the egos and the attitudes and even talk about the club going forward, nothing else than that. I wouldn't have wanted him involved in any team or squad stuff for matches in pre season or anything like that. But Moyes takes blame as well, by no means is he absolved.

Exactly, fecking depressing. I thought they were a bigger club than this.
