After Sunderland’s win over Cardiff took the Black Cats out of the drop zone, our attentions turn to the summit as the top three sides prepare for action. In what could prove a decisive day in the race for the title, Liverpool welcome Chelsea to Anfield before City make their way to Selhurst Park to face a Palace side looking for a sixth straight win under Tony Pulis:

Our first stop is at Anfield, then, where the likes of Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling will be looking to grab the goals that would bring the Reds one step closer to clinching the title and end Chelsea’s bid for the crown.

Daniel Sturridge is on the bench for the hosts after recovering from a hamstring problem, whilst Jose Mourinho rings the changes for the visitors and makes seven alterations ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg clash with Atletico Madrid.

Full details of the day’s starting lineups can be found via our Twitter feed, while the Dugout Discussion chatroom remains opens for those looking to indulge in some real-time banter.

Would expect Dzeko to start only 1 of the 2, maybe the tough game of the two if you're unlucky.

    B) Yaya and Jones

Only can bring in both Mata and Yaya if I drop one of the Power Three.

Went to Lincoln vs Barnet yesterday. Heavens above our team can play. Most of the time we have 2 CB's on the half way line whilst six attackers wander around their box. Its actually amazing to watch, just a pity this is the conference and everyone else is at least 7 foot.

Rested. Only Stephens and Yiadom were first XI players that started. Everyone else was fighting for their contract next year.

KMB + Hyde havent signed up yet for next year which is worrying. I wont be suprised if they move on though.

Yeah its our major weakness and I think were looking to get another solid CB plus a tall DM. I noticed yesterday that our tall strikers kept dropping deep to recieve throws in or goalkeeper kicks. Works well as no-one else can really win the ball in the air, although some of them are excellent jumpers.

Impossible to win it on GD mate. City have 8 more and if they were to win all their games (taking it to GD) then it would be at the very least +11. Seems unlikely that Liverpool will score 11 in two games.

Unlikely but I have seen bad teams let 7 or 8 by them in recent seasons. Unlikely certainly but surely they know they'll have to try? Can't rely on a City slip up. Not with Aguero and Yaya back.

And highly doubt City would only win their last 3 games by 1 goal difference each. More likely to thrash Villa and/or West Ham. If they beat Everton, it's most likely in the bag.

I do agree but as I said, Pool have to try. They can't sit back and depend on a City cock up but winning all their matches won't be enough either. So they'll have to try as hard as possible, I certainly wouldn't be losing Suarez yet anyways.
