Championship was great today
Open Controls -
Clyne has amassed 27pts over the last three games since getting back into the team...scary.
Open Controls-
noticed that earlier. insane streak that the double gameweeks will no doubt have kept under wraps
Open Controls -
very interested in his price next season
Open Controls-
Especially if Shaw goes, Chambers will probably shift to the left with Clyne on the right.
Open Controls
-
ben davies is the most dribbled past defender in the premier league. in terms of rate per match that honour goes to flanagan. both maybe worth targeting next season, or even next week

Is anyone comsidering 5 2 3 for start of next season?
Remember how strong defences were at the start of this season...Open Controls-
Depends on the fixtures.
Open Controls -
i think early season middle season, end of season etc all might be myth
Open Controls -
Not sure mate, 3-4-3 is always the way to go for me. Always bargains in every position, just have to get onto them early enough to capitalise.
Open Controls-
Always shape up like this.
Cheapo, Cheapo;
Biggy, Biggy, Cheapo, Cheapo, Cheapo;

So, it looks like the Aguero captaincy has come to a predictable halt?
Open Controls-
I think he'll play vs Villa.
His tweet and post match celebration makes me believe so.Open Controls -
Sergio Aguero @aguerosergiokun 3h
Thank you for your concern. I left just as a precaution. Fortunately I'm fine, happy for the goal, the win and keeping our dream alive.Open Controls

Had to take a risk of captaining someone my rivals didn't have Dzeko (c)-so far so good...
Open Controls -
I'm tired, going to sleep now.
Should I:
A - brush my teeth first
B - dont bother brushing them, it'll be alightOpen Controls -
6 points behind rival now...
Suarez vs sturridge/coleman
Mata vs yyt
Mata vs nasri
Zab vs C. Davies
Jones vs DDG
Him on the right...
Think I'm fkedOpen Controls -
Rooney and Aguero owners, the best part of this dgw is yet to come. 😎
Open Controls -
He's still plugging away, but at least he got some points today..Most threatening strikers for the GW so far

So...are we expecting Kun to be fine for AVL? 😕
Open Controls-
I don't see why not?
From watching match I think he just sat down and said to himself get this checked before going on and doing more damage.
Sergio Aguero @aguerosergiokun 3h
Thank you for your concern. I left just as a precaution. Fortunately I'm fine, happy for the goal, the win and keeping our dream alive.Open Controls -
I'm.
Open Controls -
i'm not, would still be pleasantly surprised if he's used
Open Controls-
Have to agree with you here. Appeareance would be a bonus.

commercialisation has gone mad. jordon ebay came on for birmingham today. wonder how much his parents get per year for that
Open Controls-
I expect he's all front.
Open Controls
-
So who's watching the boxing?
Open Controls -
Regret getting Mata now. Anybody else buy a player soley because they see near enough every other team has him? Should have gone with my gut, not had a United player since week 7 although his two goals against Norwich did turn my head.
Also, you would think that a former world class winger in Giggs would know that Young and Nani are just not good enough?
Boggles my mind how pants United are.Open Controls -
Anyone have thoughts about what lessons were learned this FPL season? There's been some talk (see Preamble) that hits came into fashion this season, and Mark has mentioned several times the importance of moving quickly to fix problems in one's team. But are those specific to this season? Last season there seemed to be a lot more empasis on being patient, and letting people stay in your team a while so you reap their long-term points.
I think there are a lot of FPL "axioms" that contradict each other, that seem to be justified more by the events that happen in a particular season (or part of a season) than by any permanent applicability. Here are some examples:
Dont take hits
Take hits as necessary to get on the hot players
Don't jump on bagonwheels
Get on the hot players early
Don't chase last week's points
Don't stubbornly refuse to buy high scorers you disdain as "casual's bagonwheels"
Don't make transfers until after the pressers
Build value early by transferring before the price rises
Save your wildcard as long as you can
Wildcard early to set your team up right and ensure good TV
I could go on, but I won't. I think all of these are both true and untrue. Some seasons the actual events might favour one side or the other of these contradictions, but for the most part these are all just after-the fact rationalisations we use to (a) convince ourselves we are clever and foresighted, (b) explain misfortune in a way that gives us hope we can avoid it in the future, and (c) scold others when they experience misfortune we avoided.
Thoughts?Open Controls-
This season has gone against the tide of previous FPL logic. Hard to say if it will be the same next year.
Open Controls-
Been a very strange season. I feel like I have had a crap season, late onto Ramsey, even later onto Yaya, hardly had Sturridge at all, etc. Yet, somehow I am sitting at 773rd in the world and I have no clue how.
Open Controls-
Well done. My problem this year has been the far less amount of time being spent on the game as I have started working full time. When I was a student I could be on here all the time and tinker with my team, now I rarely have the time for it. Still looking for a top 10k finish, but that's a bit of a setback compared to the last couple of seasons 🙁
Open Controls -
Wow I adopted them earlier, even Suarez, Hazard and Aguero. Still I'm on 5.9k.
Probably crap defense and always saving for Aguero's comebacks did it for me.Open Controls -
I, on the other hand, have had an actual crap season. Not so bad since I began climbing back from 2,300,000 or so, but that bad start did me in. Also, fwiw, I violated all of those axioms at one time or another both in having my bad start and in clawing back from it.

It's not just Bizarro World in FPL this season mate - any Aussies that play the rugby league fantasy games are experiencing the same thing - players that you wouldn't touch in the past are killing it this year and plenty of the elite players are struggling .
Open Controls
-
-
I've had relative success in FPL and try to go with gut instinct and if I'm not 100% on a transfer (price rise dependent) I'll sleep on it.
Open Controls -
The problem is that many of those rules are rather contradictory.
Open Controls-
Umm, yeah. 😉
Open Controls
-
Better to follow different patterns each new season brings, and do what your team demands.
Many of the points you described would be contradicting many a team, even in the single same season.Open Controls -
Don't plan your team around getting Aguero. That has wrecked many fantasy teams this season.
Open Controls -
Gosh, I've been hulked! 😯
Perhaps this means I can expect better reading comprehension from future posters! 😉Open Controls-
Even terrible posters get hulked at times. 😉

sturridge trained today if anyone has him
Open Controls -
Anyone getting Hazard in this gw?
Up against a relegated Cardiff could be tasty.Open Controls-
If I'm still trailing by a significant margin in my ML, I would strongly consider it.
Open Controls -
No sure. I haven't left myself much transfer leverage. Only straight swap I can do is for Yaya.
Open Controls-
Rooney/Kun+Ramsey>Sturridge+Hazard for me.
Open Controls
-
-
Why would Mourinho have to play him though?
A nothing game for Chelsea against a team playing a nothing game. More likely he'll throw on a few squad players.Open Controls-
Not a nothing game for Chelsea.
If Chelsea win and Pool and city loose then Chelsea would be champions. (assuming Pool beat palace,Chelsea beat Norwich and City beat Villa).
If Pool and City slip up vs Palace and Villa then that game becomes even more important for Chelsea.Open Controls

Would you guys be confident of winning going into gw38 with a 30pt lead over second place?
Open Controls -
I hope Norwich win tomorrow.
Would keep the relegation battle alive till the last day of the season which would mean guaranteed drama.Open Controls -
Why was Kagawa not in the squad today?
Open Controls -
Could be a good day for Skrtle tomorrow..Palace conceding more headed goal attempts than any other team over the last few weeks..and losing more overall aerial duels than any other team by a distance..Ideal for him.
Open Controls -
Is Jake Livermore injured? Will he play the second game? Cheers
Open Controls -
What's your latest seasons aim.
Staying in the top 1K for me. Will be close either way.Open Controls-
Staying in the top 100,000. Yes seriously. 🙁
Open Controls -
Top 10k. Save what's left of a pathetic season.
Open Controls-
According to your link you're ranked 60,000+ at the moment?
Open Controls
-
-
Last season it was staying in the top 1,000--this season it's getting in the top 100,000!
Open Controls-
-
Really bad start due to too much work distractions. Dug myself a hole by thoughtless flailing and have spent the rest of the season trying to dig out of it. 🙁
Open Controls

To have 4 decent captain scores in a row.
I'm a simple girl with simple tastes.
😉Open Controls-
Last year of FPL again?
Open Controls-
Haven't played with any degree of seriousness for years.
Open Controls-
Thought of playing any of the other games next year Katie?
Open Controls-
Nah.
I'll just have a bit of fun with this whilst continuing to win most of my NFL leagues. Made quite a bit of cash last season thanks to Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy & Andrew Luck.Open Controls-
Nice going. I know nowt about it, unfortunately.
Open Controls -
Whom do you expect your draft targets to be this coming season?
Open Controls

Either you're Katie Lewis from Fame Academy or you're a dude pretending to be Katie Lewis from Fame Academy. I know where my money is.
