I'll consider myself lucky to finish in the top 10k. This season has been an odd one, not that that's a bad thing of course.

Wonder if FPL are going to keep the bonus system the same next season. Haven't really enjoyed it with the bias towards central defenders.

I've quite enjoyed it. It's freed me up to spend less at the back, since the likes of Ward and Chester have (more often than not) kept pace with the big hitters.

Not sure about that as, on the whole, cheap defenders do not get many CSs (Crystal Pulis excepted) so they also miss out on bonus. Arsenal and Chelsea defenders have cleaned up. Lots of 8 or 9 pointers for just doing their jobs.

The stats for the season certainly suggest that. But I've found rotating cheapies a viable strategy. I did rely heavily on Southampton defenders for a while though!

I think on the whole the bonus system is good. It does need a tweak though and that would be to lessen the reward for pass completion and perhaps replace that with a bigger reward for blocked shots which from a defenders perspective is far more worthy.

No BAPS but bonuses for passing n stuff...Just can't see why they wouldn't have used the same system on UFPL as the regular game and I can't see why they would want to run two systems...It makes no sense from the developers point of view.

God I missed cleansheets...yesterday I dropped from 28k to 31k with my points, today adding 2 for Podolski and Cahill/Ivan points saw me fly back up to 26k..
