      I certainly will! If you just take the group stages you pick up players who were knocked out early and their are some absolute beasts!! Im going to analyse if a player like chielini does better when he plays weak or strong oppostion. This game will be very technical and im saving the juicy stuff for my team mates in this game everyone will play 😀

        The thing I like with the macdonalds game if you can pick a normal 11 and then fill your squad with cheap recovered ball magnets so after gameweek 1 if the games rules stay how they are you have the players to fix your team. I think thats the best way to play it.

        How many did we have for TWS last summer? That can't have been much shy of 160 (albeit a few were peripheral figures at best) and that was with no FF or WC.

        160? Doubt it man, probably started off with around 120. Eventually had around 60-70 active players. But that had its own merits - it was a cozy community! 😉
        
        Hopefully not forever. Pratik's website domain - preciselyme.com has expired. Hoping with his return to the dark side, he'll revamp the domain.

    Not so much in the summer, you'd imagine. Depends on a captain how he wants to scout his team. Some have had unique ideas in the past like an all Spurs fans team. Won't be surprised to see some themes in this one too!

      Ok thanks. Ill enter anyway and see if anyone wants me on their team. Sounds like a great idea especially as the McDonalds fantasy football game seems like a let down but hopefully they will realise their mistake and change the rules. Cant understand why they are giving us a squad of 22 to pick 11 and not make substitutions like previous years of players who dont score well.

        It's all a bit messy at the moment. They have screwed up a few of my initial plans with regards to this tourney by deciding to launch so late too. Also I fear many posters might show up only after the game is launched by which time the places could go off.

        Make a list of how many people want to join captains aside just include them as extra players. Should I get them to fill in a form to see who wants to participate? Do it like the TWS one then the captains can send mails to those who want to join that's much easier?

  I'm betting on Bet 365 who give you a free matched in-play bet if you bet pre match as well. Going for Real Madrid to be winning at HT for my pre-match bet and BTTS in the 1st half in my in-play bet. Basically all Real Madrid need to do and I win money (maybe more if Atletico also score or even more if Atletico score but Real Madrid are leading at HT).
