Ahead of England’s vital Group D game against Uruguay tonight, Paddy Power are rolling out a tempting offer for those yet to register an account. With Roy Hodgson’s England set to face the South Americans at 8pm, our bookmaker mates are offering odds of 5/1 for the Three Lions to bounce back from their defeat against Italy and defeat Luis Suarez and co:

Given that the regular odds are just 11/10, this is clearly another great offer from Paddy. Click here to get involved.

Those who already have an account with Paddy can still take advantage of a Money Back Special on offer. Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match as a free bet if Uruguay win – found out more here.

To clarify, the England enhanced odds special is limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Ururguay's second goal reminds me of Germany's first in 2010. Keeper with a long ball and one of the CBs moving forward for no particular reason. Ball flies from one end to the other and falls right behind our CB out of position to the forward for a 1on1. Goal assisted by the keeper (and Gerrard in 2014).

In a way this might benefit us Greek owners.

Plenty of shots now for Karnezis to save and more defending to do.

Might scrape a CS if we're lucky, at worst a good few saves and RBs.

I really like Caulker too, I think a new partnership in the heart of the England defence needs to be established, Caulker + Jones/Smalling/Cahill. All good teams are built on a strong base, I don't trust Jagielka & Cahill to establish that.

I like Cahill too. He has come on hugely over the last couple of years and will no doubt be an England centre half for the foreseeable future. Not Rio Ferdinand though is he 🙁

couldn't change captain from j'rod to karnezis (just online so dno what j'rod got) but luis suarez LEGEND he was so passionate IMO because of the english media's portrayal of him of the last times but don't get me wrong Uruguay HAD to win this match aswell, like I said earlier england were made luck good by a defensive Italian side, Uruguay had absolutely no play-making ability & Cavanni is muck for Uruguay all england had do was stop a returning from injury Suarez and they couldn't deal with him.

Uruguay need point now v Italy tough, honestly don't know why england don't play a 4-1-2-3 formation over trying to outplay opponents, with Gerrard being one of the 2 attacking mids, keep 5 players up the pitch at all times, only chance yis half.

Thought Henderson was decent today. One of the few players who seemed to add some drive and determination to our performance

Very little difference and I suspect no change to the result

Wilshere was awful in all the friendlies. Henderson played well today.

Might Loew have left Durm out because he struggles to live with Ronaldo?

Might he be fielded against Ghana, who doesn't have Ronaldo and is likely to have a more defensive posture than did Portugal?

Potentially, quite a few suggestions that Boateng started at right back because of previous games against Ronaldo. We could see a change, especially if Hummels is out.
