Sky Sports Fantasy Football 2014/15 Is Now Live

As some of you may already know, the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game for 2014/15 opened its doors earlier today. With a lull in the World Cup action, Fantasy managers are afforded our first chance to dabble in domestic issues as we tentatively cobble together our initial teams for the season ahead:

The Sky Sports game is one that we’ve covered in the past, with our Members area including the relevant bonus point recipients across the positions.

After winning the Best League for each of the last couple of campaigns, we’re looking forward to defending our title once again. The winner of last season’s Scout League picked up £1,000 for their achievements and we’re hoping to offer prizes for whoever finishes at the summit once again.

We’ll be re-starting our official league soon and will be rolling out a series of articles over the next couple of weeks, looking at the Player List and analysing the best tactical approaches. Regular contributor d1sable will be on board once again to give his hints and tips every Friday afternoon – having finished inside the top 10 last year, he’s clearly a man worth listening to.

        does not have much of an attackin threat though as seen in the fpl.. the french guys have some atleast. also RB's should be on the cards in both the french and brazil game

        my net on the go is really slow mate.. the speed here in india in general is slow. and even when mcd's opens(after a loooong while) the format is all wrong and it just aint possible. will download puffin browser but i fear its gonna be an exercise in futility. thanks though.

            3G.. in Goa 🙂 .. there's almost no 3g network availability here though. will be in the calangute/baga area tomorrow and i only get 2g coverage there. takes forever

      I've got Navas too & I don't see the point... Everyone else is too expensive comparatively speaking.

      Let's say you play Loris & he does well then you've effectively burned 5mil in Navas on the bench.

      Pick one & go with him as the extra cash elsewhere will certainly make up any difference in pts.

      If France & Germany were the final match of the week then I'd think it was a bit silly as Muller's ceiling is far greater than any other German player.

      Free but limited.
      You can get 3 captains if you use a transfer to take a captain out. The new player will be captain but it won't be classed as a captaincy change.

      You get ONE captain swap, but using it tactically means you can get two captains.

      You can get more captains by transferring your captain (incoming player takes the armband)
