Matchday 5 of the Brazil World Cup continues this evening as four sides square up for the right to join Brazil and Germany in the semi-finals. First up, Argentina take on Belgium in the 5pm showdown before Holland and underdogs Costa Rica go head-to-head in the 9pm kick-off:

Argentina: Romero, Zabaleta, Garay, Demichelis, Basanta; Mascherano, Biglia, Di Maria, Messi, Higuain, Lavezzi

Belgium: Courtois, Alderweireld, Kompany, Van Buyten, Vertonghen;Witsel, Fellaini, De Bruyne; Mirallas, Origi, Hazard

In the later match, Louis Van Gaal’s men are seeking a fifth straight victory to take them into the last four. The Dutch have racked up 12 goals on their way to the quarter-finals and, with three strikes apiece, front two Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben have netted half their nation’s goals, with the latter also chipping in with an assist. Van Persie will be expected to retain his starting berth in spite of a poor showing against Mexico last time around, whilst Daley Blind’s Fantasy owners will be looking for the Ajax man to add to his current tally of three assists – if Nigel de Jong fails to recover from injury, Blind is expected to start in central midfield this evening.

The Costa Ricans have already shown they are no pushovers though. Back-to-back wins over Uruguay and Italy helped clinch Group D and with just two goals conceded over the tournament so far, Keylor Navas has been an inspiration between the posts for Jorge Luis Pinto’s side. Having scored each of his side’s last two goals, Bryan Ruiz is the main threat from the underdogs, though Joel Campbell, with a goal and assist to his name, and left winger Christian Bolanos, with a pair of assists, could also be key in providing an upset.

De vrij will get more rbs as he's playing in defence where as blind is playing centre mid vs Costa Rica. Possibly some attacking points potential from blind but de vrij is the safer captain option

I've used it before a number of times and had no problems. I've seen it being mentioned by others on Reddit many times in the past, and it has a good rating on WOT: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/www.ninite.com

As well as being able to download several at once, it removes all the prompts to download toolbars etc.

You can download them all and try them out I guess, but having them all running at once isn't going to be beneficial since at least three of them (Avast, AVG and Avira) all do the same thing.

Fwiw I'm between De Vrij/Robben I also own Gonzalez,
I was set on Rinben till I read this :
      Notorious repost :
For everyone who is wondering if Robben or De Vrij is the better captain choice:
MD1: Robben scores a brace and gets 15 points, De Vrij scores a goal and gets 9 points
MD2: Robben scores a goal and gets 10 points, De Vrij does nothing and gets 9 points
MD3: Robben make an assist and gets 8 points, De Vrij has a CS and gets 9 points
MD 4: Robben does nothing and gets 6 points, De Vrij does nothing and gets 12 points

My conclusion: Robben needs only one goal to beat De Vrij's score. Will he score it though? I think I will just go with the defender and bank his regular 9-pointer.

Currently Van Buyten captain in McD for me. Got me 9 x 2 = 18 Points

From the next game I have -- Navas, De Vrij, Gonzalez, Robben

Stick with DVB or twist captaincy to one of the above? If yes, who?

The points are just ridiculous. I got 17 points in one of the group matches from an Iranian defender without a clean sheet or a goal.. 10 points for blocked shots

Kind of funny game this McD.
When Messi had that late chance I was really happy that he didn't score - and I had him in my team.
Now I can use all my subs and didn't have to make difficult decisions if I should sub Messi (potential 8) to Gonzalez or not 🙂

Im considering going with GONZALEZ as captain instead of Robben. Costa RIca will be under fire the whole match and so plenty of potential for good returns through blocked shots, recovered balls, etc. Should I risk it or go with Robben?

I can see Costa Rica keeping it low scoring. Its a similar situation to Algeria and Germany and the defenders were the way to go in that. So Im risking it.

You've convinced me, I just changed it.
This game is for fun, so why not take a chance or two. Worst I could do is lose.
I'll cheer on every recovered ball and blocked shot while watching the game.

Well im cheering Costa Rica anyway so I will be cheering the defenders fr most of the match haha. Should be a risk that could pay off well. Teams are so similar a good differential may help.
