Over the first six weeks, I think Arsenal defenders will have roughly the same and Chelsea will have slightly a higher PPG. So if you can manage a little extra cash and can correctly get a Chelsea player I would go for that over ManU. I just can't do it myself so I have Jones.

I wouldn't call it butchered. There are decent defences there. The rotation should help it pick up similar amount of CSs as a defence with a 'big hitter' in imo. 4pts is the same whichever defender it comes from.

I was not able to get a rotation with any of the 4.0 guys to work well enough for me. WBA and Aston Villa don't have very good fixtures for a while. AV does have good weeks 2 & 3, but then they are out until week 12 or so. (!)Open Controls-
Stoke away and then NewC and Hull at home. Think there is a great chance for 2 cleanies. And for a 4.0 defender that's great. Will definitely look to ship GW4

I don't think Jose could have made the situation at FB any more confusing after last night.
Was hoping for some clarification from the last friendly before the season starts........and then Jose throws the Ake curveball at us.
Is there any kind of conclusion we can draw from a 1st half of Ivan RB & Ake LB, then 2nd half Azpil RB & Luis LB?
My guess is that it means Ivan is 1st choice RB with Azpil as back up, and Luis is 1st choice LB with Ake as back up (which doesn't explain why Ake started the game though, it just seems obvious it won't be him who's 1st choice)Open Controls-

Starting a friendly means nothing but it does mean Azplicueta probably won't be LB anymore and Ake is the backup to Luis. So Luis is nailed on then from the start?
Azplicueta and Ivanovic will just rotate more likely and whoever does better will play more I'd assume with Ivanovic filling in for one of CBs when tired/injuredOpen Controls-
