If you are definitely going to WC then it should be fine. But I'm at a loss as to why you would commit to using your WC so early.

Similar here AT, I've had Ward/Rio and Mariappa/Caulker on rotation in and out of my side. But like you hesitant on QPR and thus Crystal now... decided to go Clyne and play him every week post GW1

I'd hold your horses on him. We have absolutely no idea if he'll be a starter.
I agree, he's a decent player and SHOULD play in Mariappas place. But don't forget that he's inexperienced and Mapps was part of a very good defensive unit last season. Pulis might not want to break that up.
Also Kelly is very versatile, so Pulis might want him as back-up to cover all across the back 4Open Controls -
