With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

For today’s final RMT discussion we’ve managed to grab Mark’s current lineup…

DeGea, Elliot
Ivanovic, Caulker, C Davies, Debuchy, Hutton
Ramsey, Sterling, Mutch, Siggurdson, Young
Rooney, Costa, Giroud

So Mark has currently ditched the Bojan/Sigurdsson rotation and opted for three big-hitters up front. He’s turned down the option of Jovetic and backed Arsenal with three players, despite a testing opening to their season. He’s spent on goal threat at the back with Ivanovic, Caulker and Curtis Davies, whilst he’s banking on Ashley Young to help compensate for the loss of Juan Mata.

    After tinkering for sooooooo long I think this is it. There's always dilemmas and I'd rather Naylor than Bartley but here goes:

      i'd say do it, your attack is very cheap. balance it with the transfers you are thinking.Yaya to some other cheap 5th mid and upgrade hendo to lamela or eriksen.

          Costa plays Burnley and Leicester in the first 2 GWs. it gives you more coverage in attack.plus when bojan's difficult fixtures starts, you still have 2 attackers to play with.

      Bench is weak.

      I wouldn't double up on Chelsea defenders just yet. Maybe lose one of those for someone like Caulker and upgrade Davis/El Ahmadi to Mutch/Sigurdson if you have the funds.

      Front three look formidable. Wish I could afford Sturridge alongside the other two.

    Planning to rotate the following depending on fixtures;

    Can anyone suggest any better rotation options? With the exception of Sigurdsson and Bojan.

    My one and only RMT - have doubled on Chelsea defence, perhaps foolishly (but just following gut)!

    This formation conundrum is driving me nuts.

    A) Mata, Siggy, Fletcher and 1.5 ITB or
    B) Young, Mutch, Sturridge and downgrade 4.5 def to 4.

    I have Rooney and Costa, but I feel like I am butchering my team to do B.

            have u dealt with sky cus service - i was with them & they lied to me 3 times even after formal complaint

            they screwed my broadn band & made me lose my home number which i had had for 12 yrs!

    A first day word of advice - you've picked the players you have now for a reason, second guessing can only get you so far. Sit back, focus on those you do have, enjoy the games and, if you've missed someone, a hit early doors is no bad thing.
