The final match of Gameweek 1 arrives this evening as promoted Burnley prepare for the visit of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. The Blues are heavily backed heading into this one, with both Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas currently sitting in more than 20% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) teams, while up front, summer signing Diego Costa will be looking to grab the goals and strengthen his armband credentials ahead of next week’s home encounter with Leicester:

Certainly, the stage is set for Costa to deliver after a disappointing series of displays from a number of forwards over the weekend, where only one (Saido Berahino) managed double-figure returns.

At the back, Jose Mourinho opts for Thibaut Courtois between the sticks, with Petr Cech relegated to the Blues’ bench. The Chelsea manager keeps faith with the familiar defence that earned 18 shut-outs last term, with new boy Filipe Luis amongst the substitutes.

  As a WHU I don't think Vaz Te will get too much time to be honest. If he does it will be on the flanks. Due to Valencia, Sakho and Zarate all ahead of him presumably when full fitness reached in a game or 2.

Whatever is the case, I am not selling Mata for Fab unless he fails in next 2-3 matches. We all knew he (or anyone) gonna score in every match.

On 70pts so far, Terry and Costa in the game.

My midfield is Mata, Sterling, Siggy, Eriksen and Ramsey.

Trying to convince myself not to knee jerk Fabregas in by breaking up other parts of my team unnecessarily. Any advice?!

I am so ecstatic I went for Fabregas instead of Hazard, don't get me wrong Hazard will do really well, I'm not being naive, but Fabregas will have endless assists to his name and be a BAP hoarder.

United's next possible signing?

Am I the only one who thinks given their ages and the fact that we're probably starting to hit our budget cap for this whole season (including the January window), Strootman (24) is a much better option than Vidal (27)? I assume we could get Strootman for between £5-10 m cheaper too.
