Fabregas and Sterling are so appealing when you don't have them, how does it feel to own them? What do non-Hazard and Mata owners think about not having them?
Open Controls -
Sup guys, missed the match, can I get a quick summary of it? Who played well/ bad etc?
Cheers.Open Controls-
Ivanovic, Fabregas and Hazard. Costa scored. All very impressive. But - got caught out by a set-piece.
Open Controls -
Chelsea excellent in the first half after Burnley scored, Fabregas and Ivanovic probably our best men today. Hazard and Oscar the most anonymous but will come good.
Open Controls -
Chelsea looked strong in general for most of the 1st half. Hazard, Schurrle, Fan and Costa all a threat. Took the foot off the gas second half. Oscar probably the disappointment in performance. Hazard the disappointment in terms of not getting some deserved fantasy points
Open Controls -
Chelsea good first half. Second half non event. Hard to gauge in FPL terms as burnley very poor. Arfield played well

Is wood nailed on up front for Leicester? Thinking Giroud and Marney to Wood and Sterling with a change in formation. Thoughts?
Open Controls-
Ulloa>Vardy>Nugent>Wood as far as gametime goes. so no wood aint nailed at all.. quite the opposite

hazard owners.. savage.
All my rivals have fab.Open Controls-
Wouldn't be too panicked its one game. Hazard looked sharp and points will be forthcoming soon

Didn't catch the Spurs game, how did Lamela get on?
Open Controls -
I don't want to fecking live in this fecking country any fecking more. Blackouts every hour so. Feck this!!
Open Controls -
For another fantasy league... Does it make sense to gamble on Diouf vs Hull and Pelle vs WBA while leaving Sterling vs MCI on the bench?
Also, finally got a grav and a display name up 🙂Open Controls -
Sheesh....definitely quality beating quantity for the most attacking teams for GW1...although the stats for the striker for the top team are worth a look as usual, http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/3846/

I have got 3 m in bank and I want to replace Sidwell, he is 5.5. This makes it 8.5... any change rec other than Sterling?
Already have Sigurdson, Fab, Silva, Rooney, giroud and bojan.Open Controls -
Giroud start vs everton?
Open Controls-
Y
Open Controls -
Probably
Open Controls -
Yes.
Open Controls

-
People realise its only GW1 right?
Open Controls-
Yeah the best time of the season to make some value
Open Controls-
wasting transfers for money will cost points in the long run unless your playing to get a high team value then fair play
Open Controls-
This is the best time to take a hit really tho, but yes not just for the sake of it. Sterling has a few poor fixtures coming up hence why I didn't get him at the start, not going to knee jerk for a couple of price hikes

Its always hysteria on here, some people need to get a grip!
Open Controls
-
Fab to play more advanced v Leicester or same as tonight?
Open Controls-
The same I would imagine
Open Controls -
We'll probably have 10 strikers against them. It could get ugly.
Open Controls -
Considerin Leicester are dreadful at defendin set pieces(and that was in the championship) id expect fabs to get points this week either way
Open Controls
-
-
It's been one gw and i've realized siggy fabregas and sterling are essential
Open Controls -
If Mata weren't falling this week, I wouldn't dare switch him out. But now that he is, it's got me thinking. 8.9 changes everything.
Open Controls-
Then you take that risk that he bounces back and the sheep flock back to him and you won't have lost anything
Open Controls -
He's not falling for a while. He might even make it to the weekend.
Open Controls -
Agreed. Especially because if he blanks again against Sunderland (Certainly a possibility) it'll probably be a multi fall the week after, when he plays Burnley and the dance will continue...
Open Controls
-
will jwp get a game if southampton go 4-4-2. is there a threat of taider or ramirez taking his place?
Open Controls-
Gonna be this mostly.. i suspect 😉
-------Wanyama-------Schneiderlin
----------------JWP
---Tadic--------------------Long
----------------PelleOpen Controls-
Ramirez complicates things though.. and the "winger" Soton are looking for
Open Controls
-
-
I have the same dilemma as you (have the same frotn 8 apart from I have Mata instead of Eriksen).
I'm about 80% sure that JWP will be nailed on in Koeman's first 11.
Snodgrass -> JWP is safe and sensible
What about Snoddy & Sturridge -> Fabregas & Dzeko instead? It's a bit of gamble but gives the team way more balance.Open Controls-
nah , i fancy sturrudge to do well. may get jwp so in future barring rises i could do erisken to sterling + sturridge to aguero depending on injuries and form
Open Controls-
Not bothered about missing out on Fabregas rises? I'm 50/50 atm, I'm tired and can't think properly, why is FPL so stressful?!
Let me know what you decide to do.Open Controls-
no , don't really fancy cesc atm and i like sturridge for another [c] option. im the same got in from work after the match. think il get jwp or arfield [i was looking at him last week]
Open Controls-
Arfield has 32 goals and 15 assists in his career (282 games) no bad but not great either, JWP is a young player on the rise and will be on most set pieces if he plays.

Strap down your jerky knees.

OK GW1 done & other than benching Siggy I don't think I've done too bad, 57 points, at least 2 players likely to go up in value, £1.5 mill in the bank & only 1 of my squad didn't play.
Kyle Bartley was the offender! thinking of shipping him out for Drummett from Newcastle unless Mata's value looks likely to drop!
I don't want to up the price on my 4th/5th choice, Newcastle have got better fixtures than Villa (Hutton being the other option) & he'll rotate well Wisdom.Open Controls -
In probably the least sexy possible transfer of the week, Neil Taylor to a 4.0 anyone? Not Hutton since I've already got Vlaar. Kind of just trying to stop myself doing Mata to Fabregas. 🙂
Open Controls -
0.5 off Davis to Fabregas and Jovetic to Naismith.
Could do Jovetic to Wood (Leicester) but thats really not so appealingOpen Controls-
A. Hiya. Everything good? Can't see a problem.
Open Controls

Between Haz, Cesc, Mata and Sterling, Hazard + Sterling will be the highest scoring combination this year.
Open Controls -
Hehe. Just in, Fabregas two assists, coast anytime GS. Lovely! 😀
Open Controls -
Hi would you play Wickham or Young ? . I already have Rooney . My gut says play Wickham . No need for double Utd because they lost to Swansea and Wickham is on pens . Agree or Disagree ?
Open Controls -
Do I gamble or play it safe?
A: Snodgrass & Sturridge -> Fabregas & Dzeko (-4)
B: Snodgrass -> Ward-Prowse
I scored 79 points this week so maybe I can afford to gamble?Open Controls-
A

Is it mad to be considering Terry as a captain option for next week?
I don't trust Costa yet, and Mourinho could just shut up shop after they get a goal/sub Costa off and save him.
RVP could be back for United and they looked fairly poor last week anyway.
Both City and Liverool have a bad fixture. Don't trust my City player (Dzeko) with the arm band anyway.
Arsenal have a difficult away game.
I just dont see any great options for next week. Who is everyone else thinking of?
Cheers 🙂Open Controls -
Scored 59 this gameweek and my team is looking good going forward. My only concerns are having both Lamela and Jovetic, but I'm thinking of giving them one more chance and saving the transfer, and if it all goes downhill I can just swap them both out without having to take a hit. How does that sound?
Open Controls-
Lamela > eriksen
Open Controls -
Good plan imo
Open Controls -
I have Lamela and am considering my options. But in fairness, this was his first PL game in 8 months, away, in a London derby with a new manager and system to adapt to. Hopefully Spurs will have Holtby starting in the Europa League and give Lamela another chance on Sunday.
