    Most pressing transfer?

    A) Lovren
    B) Bruce
    C) Davis

    £0 in the bank

      Depends on if they're startiing players(Bruce). I'd say A.

      rest of team?

      i'd probably lose Lovren

Now that you've had lovren for his not so good spell, may as well hold him for the better fixtures after Spurs. Bruce may be good for this week with Chester ineligible and vs Villa who have hardly anything to offer in attack. Davis, I suppose is your 5th mid, can stay.
      Save a tranny imo 🙂

Damn, I did Austin < Dzeko sunday due to the first's announced price drop, but he didn't drop - and Dzeko was awful and half injured and everything.

How does everyone feel about Ivanovic? Luxury or essential?
Secondly has aguero been called up to the argentina squad for int. friendlies?

Most chose Terry or Cahill due to the £0.5 saved and more security of starts. I would be curious on what people think of Ivan rotation risk now?

With all the uncertainty in Liverpool midfield and attack options (balo coming in, a lot of rotation risk in the midfield), who is the most important to own? I have Sturridge and not too happy about it. I don't have sterling and seeing him being sub out yesterday, even he looks to be far from nailed on?

I did Bojan to Naismith yesterday to avoid the price fall. With Eto'o joining what does that mean for Naismitg's playing time?

    1. Red Devil Swede

Probably less playing time for Naismith.

You'd assume less for Naismith, but you gotta question how much Eto has left in the tank and the position he plays. I'd imagine he'll be coming on for 15 min cameos for both Lukaku and Naismith. I don't think I dents Naismith as an option too much.

Eriksen owners on here, hanging on or fast losing patience? Considering De Jong here. I think Palace are not in their best shape and the toon can probably take advantage of that. Thoughts?

I'm also thinking of getting de Jong fire the exact same reason. However, I think I'll swap for mata as Erik's at home and I have two FT so seeing it currently as a one week punt - also want to see Di Maria factor first!

Was very irritating to see Eriksen blank in a 4-0 win! Grrrr

Oh well, thinking rationally, he had a few attempts and a freekick which rattled off the bar.. probably keep him for one more week

Am keeping track of De Jong and considering upgrade to Sterling too

    4. micsway

Eriksen owner here. I'm going to give him one more week, then consider a switch to sterling for fixtures if he does not deliver.

He played well against QPR but then so did the entire spurs attacking line. Unlucky with that free kick, was bang on.

You can see the logic, Dzeko supposedly has a knock now and therefore a doubt for the next match whilst Jovetic scored twice and will most probably keep his place. I'm not sure if itscworth a transfer though.

      1. tw
        • 14 Years
        11 years, 3 months ago

yes but it's just a knock. could easily be Dzeko and Jovetic starting again, dzeko scores and jovetic blanks. and city have two tough fixtures after gw 3/the international break and then CL fixtures starting in there too

    3. ScouseCafu
      • 14 Years

I don't think the jovetic is a bandwagon to jump on unless dzeko is ruled out for a couple of weeks

Ok, let's put it this way - if you own Dzeko, would you get Jovetic?

        1. Pompel
          • 11 Years
          11 years, 3 months ago

there are good reasons to do so:

          - Jovetic form i better
          - Kun still being eased in, so Jovetic should get game time for a few more weeks I reckon
          - otoh, if Jove game-time decreases significantly with Kun getting back to fitness, it may be too short-sighted

        2. ScouseCafu
          • 14 Years
          11 years, 3 months ago

No but its worth while jumping on the bandwagon if Jovetic is got a bit more security of starts due to a dzeko injury.

2 goals makes him top goal scorer :)...

The thing is, watching Dzeko play is crazy frustrating, but i cant see him not being the preferred choice with Aguero... at least until Negredo is back... Jovetic and Aguero are both too similar... Also City have few tough fixtures coming up... very very tough fixtures...

So yeah i dont get it... Its the same guys who used their WC's to get Fabregas last week.

Pellegrini made a comment that Jovetic can play with any of the other strikers, or something along those lines

but yes they have tough fixtures coming up, AND CL, with a CL match falling between their two tough fixtures:

    Rooney - Costa - Bojan

I don't think so...its an illusion created by his runs into the box, still sticks around the halfway line the majority of the time...same as last season

does a lot of unnoticed pressing/tackling/distribution from deeper areas

    hey lads,
    sitting on 2FT

Thinking of doing one of the following as having marney and fletcher in the same team hasn't worked to plan for me!

    A) Sturridge Marney Fletcher --> Costa Siggy and Wood (for 3-5-2)
    B) Sturridge Eriksen Fletcher --> Costa Siggy and Jovetic (3-4-3)

    thanks lads 🙂

Is it crazy to get rid of Rooney now, I'm really considering it. Just think with utds shocking form, Rvp leading the line and back on pens is he worth the 10.5 with so many others showing good form ie. Ade jelovic dzeko

My current front 3 are Costa Fletcher Rooney

Yeah sounds good eventually, but I'd be careful for the time being, can't see jovotic or dzeko being dropped

Yeah, QPR have been out of touch, and my midfield and strikers are fine, just my defence is letting me down. It consists of
        Jones, Debuchy, Caulker (Taylor, Chester)
I think my Gk is fine as well
        Krul (Begovic)
I would like to use a free transfer at least

Jones was the only decent def. i'd keep him for next 3 fixtures

Debuchy has a good fixture, why sell?

    3. RubberDucky
        11 years, 3 months ago

Im thinking of dropping Jones, but just cant do it, look at Man Utd's next 4 fixtures, im sure there will be a few clean sheets at least and he could easily pop up with a goal or assist against the next 4 teams.

so with youngs collapse in price and the imminent arrival of di maria i have got rid, shame it didnt pay off.
in comes larsson, tinkered with hendo but with ballotelli he will be playing a bit deeper, plus larsson is on set pieces, corners and might grab a goal with some easy upcoming fixtures.
will keep for 4-5 weeks as rotation with naismith and reassess

Have 2 free transfers so need to use one, any obvious changes that need to be made. I'm struggling apart from maybe Mata to Sterling or Begovic to Forster
      Begovic
      Jones-Ferdinand-Naylor
      Mata-Ramsay-Hazard-Sigurdson
      Rooney-Costa-Dzeko

      Gilks-Moore-PvA-Marney

id be worried about dzeko, he will probably start but with the return of the king, and jov on hot form then dzeko is going to start to be rotated. ferdinand is a problem as well, QPR dont have the resistance we thought they would

Do we reckon it'll be Dzeko's game time that will suffer now with Aguero back; with Jovetic in such good form he can't really be dropped can he?

theres no worse feeling than seeing the lineups announced only to see your player on the bench,

unless its aguero of course 😉
