With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

        Think I'm doing Dzeko > Adebayor tonight with my FT. I think...

        The plan was to do it for GW4, but if Adebayor rises tonight, as seems likely, it's going to take me two transfers rather than one to do it, and I don't particularly want to downgrade anywhere else. Dzeko should start this weekend, and has the better fixture, but there's some chance that he won't start, and zero chance that Adebayor won't.

        My other worry is Costa, but I'm encouraged by the reports that he's in contention for the weekend. If he doesn't feature, then I have Rio coming off the bench, which, at home to Sunderland, wouldn't be the worse thing in the world... I suppose I could also move him on for Jovetic for a hit tomorrow, but like I said, I suspect that he'll be okay. And in any case, if he's in contention now, then he should be fine with two weeks rest before Swansea at home, a fixture I'd want to have him for.

        So, any thoughts on pulling the trigger tonight, is my thinking flawed?

                  Looks good, yep. Quite a benching dilemma with your defence, I think I'd want to play the home players though - Hutton and Dummett over Bertrand and van Aanholt. Very tough to call though, any of them could keep a CS, really.

              As bad as United's defense may be, I can't say no to those fixtures.

              If I get Evans at 5.4, it'll leave me £1.0m in the bank. If I get Jones at 5.5, I'm left with an awkward £0.9m.

                  Nice idea but that would involve a hit and Aguero may not start. I feel the midfield needs Ramsey + Sterling and want to double on liverpool from gw4.
