Gameweek 3 gets underway with a lunchtime encounter between Burnley and troubled United. Having lost their first two matches, the Clarets are desperate to get points on the board and will certainly be buoyed by the current form of today’s opponents, as Louis van Gaal’s side stumble from one poor result to another.

With Angel di Maria poised to make his debut for the visitors, though, Fantasy owners of United’s attackers have a renewed sense of optimism for the Turf Moor meet. Captain Poll favourite Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie are all more than capable of delivering in emphatic fashion and could be set to benefit from the Argentine’s arrival.

Following this one, we have five matches to savour at 3pm before Everton host Chelsea in the evening kick-off at Goodison.

          I actually don't think they've been that bad. Should have had a pen, great save by heaton, mata slipped at the worst moment - on another day they could be 3-0 up. shocking mistakes at the back could cost us though

            Just seems like two of the back three are uncomfortable, and in turn they have no creativity or the ambition it takes to pick out attackers WITHOUT hoofing it down the pitch. That just makes them all look so uncomfortable in that look,

        I know United have been poor and armbanding Rooney doesn't look like a great choice YET... but just think back to last week when these comments pages were filled with "Shouldn't have captained Hazard," "Hazard out this week," etc.

        Like I say, hardly inspired by Rooney's/United's first half performance. But just wait.

            I agree. Hazard looked much better against Burnley/Leicester than Rooney has against Burnley so far.
