    Should I use my Wildcard?

    - I own no Chelsea attackers
    - I still have Dzeko
    - I have Dummet who seems to have lost his starting spot
    - I own DDG and Man U can't defend to save their lives..

The Downside is I saved my FT to use over this 2 week period.

After stressing all week and debating who to lose begovic and Costa for i decided to give it another week to think about it. Worked out alright, up to 3934 rank. One of the few times that i held out and it payed off. Cmon the Ramsey captaincy to keep me up there for another week before i fall.

Thanks to those that mentioned the upside to having 2 ft's for the break!!

    Pick 3 to start.

    A) Jovetic away to Arsenal (rotation issues? Džeko to replace?)
    B) SIGGY away to Chelsea (against a defence which would now have been bollocked by Mourinho!)
    C) Chester at home to West Ham (Monday Night Football is always a risky one though)
    D) Cahill at home to Swansea (little chance of attacking points and Swansea's attack is bliss ATM)

Look at his last 3 fixtures.

Fixtures mean jack if the team is playing poorly. And Utd are playing poorly right now.

Going for in form players right now is far better than going for fixtures. Naismith is a perfect example of this. Hard fixture, but scored because he's in hot form.

Rooney had a supposedly easy fixture but his team are playing poo at the moment. Sure enough, 2 point return.

FLuis taking a page out of Kolarov's last yr textbook.

out of curiosity, anyone here also had FLuis on starting XI just in case he started, betting that if he did not, he would be replaced by your bench , in this case Duff?

he just got me 1 pter with his cameo appearance , not allowing me to benefit of Duff's 8 pter.

Hi guys! What's about average around here? Thought it had been a bad one but the average seems low.

Anyway, I won't be much use on Saints this week but I was at the Newcastle game as my boyfriend is a magpie. Just thought I'd offer some thoughts on them:
Lots of silly mistakes defensively that could be cut out. Palace played decent counter attacking football but they weren't closed down anywhere near enough and Newcastle looked petrified of Zaha.

Aarons changed the game for Newcastle. He was full of running, jumping and high energy football and supplied decent balls into dangerous areas. Cabella continued to be a nuisance for the defence all game but his delivery let him down.

De Jong looked sorely off the pace. I felt the midfield were carrying him for large parts of the game and he failed to truly influence play. In FPL, I'd have Cabella over De Jong every week based on the displays I saw.

The main problem for Newcastle is upfront. I didn't think Rivière was terrible but he struck me as someone who wanted to play with someone else upfront - De Jong wasn't providing the support he wanted. Rivière would move into the channels to leave space in the middle but no one would occupy it. He's not the right striker for the system that Newcastle play.

I've got 50 points with Sterling and Ramsey left to play, pretty happy with that.

Yes, this sample size of three weeks has certainly done wonders to help sort the wheat from the chaff...

Mata, Rooney, Adebayor to-> Sanchez, Aguero and Naismith worth it?

Normally they would look like lateral moves, but after United's game today I might abandon the ship. Aguero rising, and I like the prospects of both him and Sanchez playing as a forward. I'm gonna wait and see what tomorrow brings so I'll probably miss Aguero's rise tho.

SCOUT PICKS CHALLENGE - GW3 INTERMEDIATE UPDATE

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! After what I can only describe as an absolute thriller in the Everton game, FPL towers have finalised their scoring and as such I present to you the current rankings of this gameweek's SPC....

    1st - Alberto Tomba (41pts)
    2nd - Van Klinkert Delarosa & Tibbles (38pts)

Interesting reading so far! Siggy was definitely one of the most popular picks, whilst no one had Costa in their line-ups with the uncertainty. Those with Ivanovic, however, were strongly rewarded...!

Now, unfortunately there is no one eligible for the bonus points, as the FFS Scout Picks Challenge is scoring a high 46 points at the moment. That's it for the intermediate update, good luck for the rest of the gameweek!

All eyes will be on Manquilo and Moreno tomorrow.
Attacking points potential, a clean sheet, good fixtures.
    What we like to see.
