        Have Dier, Rose in place of Duff and Moore... and Dyer in place of Sterling to catch the rise...

        Couldn't get Naismith as I want Costa, Aguero and Ade in the wildcard... so can't afford their price to rise...

      Seemed like a decent choice at the time. Loads of luck in this game. I was worried that 9 of my 11 starters were away from home, and I had no City cover. Changed the armband from Rooney to Sig at 11.29. Thin margins!

    Here is how my WC team will line up in GW 4

    Krul
    Ivan, Coleman, Pieters
    Siggy, Fabs, Ramesy, Sterling
    Naismith, Jovetic, Costa
    Subs: Green, Dyer, N.Taylor, Hutton

    BANK: 1.1m
    Not sold on keepers yet otherwise pretty happy with how it looks,
    what are people's thoughts ?

      Don't like to GK combo either. Don't like Pieters, although Stoke have nice fixtures they won't put 10 men behind the ball every game, having Dyer will give you a "who to bench" dilemma every week. Wouldn't put Hutton in since Villa's fixtures are terrible.

      1. SierraDelta

        Hutton is best 4m IMO, will be last man on bench most weeks, Pieters & Taylor will rotate to play along Coleman & Ivan

    No idea what to do now;

    Krul Elliot
    Jones Debuchy Hutton Moore Wisdom
    Ramsey Sterling Mata Sigurdsson Albrighton
    Rooney Aguero Dzeko

    0.5 ITB, 1 FT

    Considering Mata > Mirallas (wba CPL) and Dzeko > Diego Costa, or Mata/Dzeko > Fabregas/Ade

          Fabregas & Ade should outscored Mata + Dzeko in Gw4. Mata form was terrible yesterday and 3-5-2 is not working. I'm happy to see him to be dropped next game with Maria & Janujai on the wing, with Blidn, Hereira in the middle

    Morning all

    Just woken up to see none of the rabble i call a team fell in price, the sky hasn't caved in , and things don't look half as bad as they did last night

    Pleased I didn't do a rage wildcard. Might even keep Mata, when you see that only two players rose in price and about thirty dropped you realise losing a little on Mata is less important than a home tie against a poor away side like QPR

        Was shocked to see I actually went up in the rankings, although only temporary. Went from 2500 to 1700. Remarkable since both my transfers this season have taken out a player that then scored a brace and replaced with two that got two points each

        Only Ramsey left.

        My cheap defence has done a brilliant job, spent hours and hours working on that rotation and it's paid off so far

        Not sure if I said this earlier but trying to make money on just a couple of players going up in price may not be worth it. There'll probably come a time when a few are rising up in price and you want all of them.

        1. Not Irish
          • 12 Years

          It's the prospect of making money on a handful of players while avoiding drops at the same time which is enticing. Especially Rooney, who I want to have long term. Could well bring him back in at 10.2 two Fridays from now.

    Thoughts? W/C team

    Depending on how some players perform today..

    GW4:

    Mannone, (Krul)

    Clyne, Pieters, Vertonghen (Taylor, Wisdom)

    Ramsey, Fabregas, Sterling, Lamela, (Siggy)

    Balotelli, Costa, Naismith

    Obviously going to see how Balo goes tonight but with easy fixtures and if he gets game time could go nuts..

      I'm going without, as usual before Xmas. But, I suspect starting with cheapie defence each year may be what has been holding me back. Defenders are better value now than they were, though, so a few nailed on bonus magnet CBs may be enough to get by.

      Dzeko is the big problem for me. Can't be bothered with worrying about if he's going to play or not every week.

        Yeah I suppose, but my other big striker is Aguero so it has to be Rooney that goes to get Costa in

      Surely can't sell Rooney before QPR at home 😕

        He hasn't exactly set the world alight with the 3 favourable fixtures he's had so far... Utd look clueless at the moment... and not owning Costa is killing me at the moment. Feel like I have to make this trade

          He has played at home once vs a much better team and scored , no way I am selling

    To WC or not to WC.

    Against.
    I always fail to keep my WC for the DGW season after Xmas which is a major ambition every year.
    WC GWs are mostls my lowest scoring - always want another WC the following week.
    Balotelli, Aguero and other plum picks are not ripe at the moment.

    For.
    Great opportunity to play the TV game in the next few weeks.
    It will give me something to do in the next few weeks.

    OK, I'm struggling to think of any more in the For column. Can anybody help me out here?

        What am I going to do for the next two weeks? 🙁

        No, I'm just weighing up pros and cons to have a bit of fun and convince myself it's a bad idea.

    Any Idea of improving my TV team on my WC

    Krul, Elliot
    Ivanovic, Dier, Clyne, Taylor, Hutton
    Ramsey, Fabregas, Sterling, Siggurdson, Marney
    Costa, Aguero, Naismith

    TV: 100.3m ITB: 0.1m

    Hope to reach atleast 101m TV

      Most already have 101m

      Can't believe I hit WC with 101.1m

    Surely the cool kids aren't using their WC yet? Too much in the air e.g. Not all players back to full fitness and price changes unclear

    Can't believe Ferdinand dropping, he looks a decent 4.5 option, QPR have looked fairly tight in theiir two home games , which is when I use him.
    Also have Lovren who is dropping, Liverpool have had a tough start but their fixture list improves rapidly, seems a strange time for people to be selling him

      Maybe it is all the WCers who will just buy him back after he drops

    Alright my fellow OCD FPLers... I'm sat here looking at:

    Bego
    O'Shea - Wisdom - Clyne (Dummett - Chester)
    Fabregas - Ramsey - Sterling - Siggy (Albrighton)
    Dzeko - Rooney - Costa

    1FT, 2.5m in bank... thinking:

    A) Dzeko -> Balotelli +1m

    The rest all involve -4pts

    B) Dzeko -> Balotelli, Chester -> Lovren

    C) Dezko -> Naismith, Albrighton -> Di Maria
    D) Dzeko -> Naismith, Albrighton -> Mata
    E) Dzeko -> Naismith, Albrighton -> Hazard

      The 352 option looks interesting but will give bench headaches

    51 point with 3 to play. Naismith (lol) on Wilson on the bench. I would have the burning question (I would read a long article on this).

    Hazard or Fabregas. I have both.

    I want Sterling for the next gameweeks.

    Who is a keep?
    My problem with the Chelsea midfield is they are too good.
    Fabregas, Hazard, Schürrle, Willian, Ramires, Matic, Oscar.
    They all can score and give assists. The points are spreaded too much. The big point maker is Costa. The mids are going to make 5-8 point in a good case.

    What do you think?

    Could Matic @ 5.5m be good long term option to fill my bench ?

      Too expensive for the bench; not good enough to play every week.

      Hah. Just seen the replay. It really shouldn't. He was clearly crossing the ball.
