After kicking off our series of Big Numbers articles with a look at the best performing Defenders over the first three Gameweeks, we now move further up the pitch. This time round we focus on midfielders, with a trio of summer signings all showing plenty of promise in their new surroundings.

Hello Bony owners what are you doing?
Considering -4 swap Bony to Welbeck
My other forwards are: Sturidge(!) & Roon

Hi guys, how are we all?

Any price risers tonight or just Rooney falling?

Guys calm down with this Jones stuff. We have no idea about the severity of the "injury" and he has 6 days until the next game.

Could be a cramp for all we know.

The way he was moving would imply a hamstring injury, not cramp. Particularly as there were no traditional attempts to alleviate cramp.

haha i think you're reading a bit too much into it. I think hes going to get rotated with sanchez and sanogo, and he has city next.

The sheer amount of people with him in WC teams is staggering when he hasnt played a game for arsenal yet.

I can see Wenger thinking it's a good idea to play Sanogo over Welbeck some games, also doubt he will hit the ground running and fixtures aren't the best. Naismith all the way, until Welbeck starts banging them in and nails down a spot

Are you not concerned about rotation, Doos?

Martinez rotated Mirallas and the other mids and wingers like crazy last season, even when they didn't have fixture congestion. Now they have 7 games in 22 days.

        Morning guys.

Didn't see the game last night. I'm guessing the Welbeck bandwagon is up and running (if wasn't already after his transfer).

In reality, did he play well though?

He did ok .. took his chances well.
If he is a starter at Arsenal which I think he will be .. at his price he is well worth it .. he will get chances and will put a few goals away imo .. all about gametime imo

When he gets his chance down the centre, he will get so,e form of returns.

He may spray 100 crosses/passes wide, or trip himself up 9 times out of 10, but you only need that one chance to get points.

Aka Yaya. I'll wait to bring him in for Arsenals lovely week 8 onwards fixtures.

That defence is aids, and not the good kind.

Re jig to lose Falcao and spread some over the back, United have only had a week and a bit to sort their form, and with all their new players, that will take some time to say the least.

if jive is fit, id keep jove as i think hell start ahead of dzeko to play along kun

If Jovetic is confirmed out I'd trade for Welbeck with Naismith my second choice and Weimann third. Arsenal striker at that price is a great bargain in my view.

Haven't looked on here or any other football opinion site today...So being completely objective...

          Wilshere was poor tonight.

In fact, he's poor in most games. Just don't "get" him. World-beater on football manager, distinctly average in real life.

As do most players. They're few and far between. Can beat the first man, but never a second or third. Either gives the ball away or falls over.

Everyone slates Michael Carrick for passing the ball backwards/sideways, but sometimes it IS necessary in that deeper role. Wilshere could have benefited from a bit of it tonight.

Madness to do Ramsey > Sterling (and keep Mata for now)? Fixture-wise Mata could still produce the goods if nailed. Ramsey has terrible fixtures in the next four weeks.

Form over fixtures for attackers IMO

This. I too think Mata will be benched if RVP, Falcao and Rooney start.

AdM will take his spot in the 352. Might play if we go 433. But no certainty.

Can't even get capped for his national team.

Dropped for half a season and sold to a rival club by a top manager.

I don't understand why people can't see it.

One of the most overrated players I can remember.

I've got all 3 Sterling, Ramsey, Mata ... and Mata will be first overboard if he doesn't play vs. QPR

I've also considered dropping Ramsey (currently on WC).

Fixtures are terrible in the short term. ADM or Fabregas if I do? Already have Sterling and Hazard...

No. Sterling is the one 'essential' right now. However, try and keep Ramsey (due to ownership %), take out Mata.

I would get Sterling in for either. I'd keep Ramsey as he's guaranteed more minutes on the pitch and is still ticking along on key passes and seems to always be in the box irregardless of where his starting position is.

Love Mata as a player, and he could still deliver, but if you had to sell one...it'd have to be Mata.

I have one FT and I think my team suddenly looks in a bad shape with Jones, Debuchy, Mata.
          Currently on
          Krul Foster
          Cahill Debuchy Jones Moore Bruce
          Mata Ramsey Sterling Siggy Marney
          Costa Rooney Naismith

I think i will wait to see how serious is Jones injury and then maybe shift Mata to Fab or Rooney to Augero??
What do you guys think? Thanks.

If you replace Marney with Fab nor far from my team, who is then the go to mata replacement?

          b) Krul,
          Ivan Clyne NTaylor PVA Duff

I have the same dilemma but unless I downgrade Moreno or Kun I can't. Considered Moreno to Pieters but Pool defensive cover looks very tasty too ðŸ™
