Saturday continues with a quartet of matches, featuring Arsenal and an array of budget and mid-price Fantasy talent.

The Gunners trip to a resolute Aston Villa will likely be the headline act on show: Arsene Wenger’s men will look to recover from the midweek Champions League defeat to Dortmund against Paul Lambert’s resurgent midlands outfit. Alongside that, we’ve an enthralling encounter at the Liberty Stadium as Swansea and Southampton prepare to press and weave patterns around the South Wales pitch.

Elsewhere, Alan Pardew will look to extend his stay of execution at Newcastle via a winnable home clash with Hull City, while Burnley go in search of their first three points back in the top flight as Gus Poyet’s erratic Sunderland unit pull up to Turf Moor.

We may well be discussing some very meagre Fantasy points tallies by 4.50, as we prepare to make our way to East London to check in on West Ham’s progress, as they host Brendan Rodgers’ title pretenders, Liverpool.

    Here's an idea. How about an adjustment being made to the comments system whereby if someone posts: "lol @ ____"

    .....it automatically changes it to: "love @ _____".

    This way, instead of trying to insult players and teams, users would just be spreading some wholesome FFS cheer.

    Zonal marking on set pieces is absolutely fecking ridiculous. Wenger does it and Arsenal is dreadful at defending set pieces. I cannot understand how any manager in his right mind would adopt it. Please enlighten me.

      Statistically it's better apparently and you end up conceding less due to corners and fk's than you generally would.
      It just looks worse when a goal is scored and zonal marking is being deployed.

        hmmm, not too sure about that statistic. Cannavaro during the world cup blasted a team for picking zonal marking on set pieces, said it had no place whatsoever in top flight football.

        Might look at Rooney to Welbeck and bring in ADM - just feel ADM is a rip off compared to other midfield options. If mata holds his place I would consider him, but I don't see it. He'll only play 2/3 games
