Our Monday afternoon regular is rolled out once again, as we scour the Premier League treatment rooms to assess the players who picked up injuries over the weekend action.

Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), Mikel Arteta (calf) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) were all forced off during Saturday evening’s north London derby. After the match, Arsene Wenger admitted he was somewhat surprised by the Welshman’s withdrawal as central midfield concerns mount up:

“Wilshere, if you look at the incident again, has been tackled and turned his ankle over. Ramsey is a concern that he did his hamstring. I don’t understand because he had a good rest this week, I didn’t play him against Southampton on Tuesday night. It’s a surprise because he’s usually a resistant boy.”

Burnley
According to reports, Lukas Jutkiewicz appeared to pick up a knock in the 4-0 rout at Burnley before being replaced on 67 minutes.

Everton
Kevin Mirallas was stretchered off with a hamstring injury just half an hour into the weekend Merseyside derby. After the match, Roberto Martinez went on to day:

“It seems bad. It’s a hamstring. We’re going to assess him in the next 24 hours. Kevin has been in great form and we’ve got a lot of games coming up. It’s very unfortunate for us.”

Reports today, though, suggest Mirallas could be out for up to a month with the problem.

Man United
Ander Herrera limped out of United’s narrow win over West Ham after sustaining a back problem.

QPR
Sandro was forced off early during the first-half of the R’s defeat at St Mary’s after a clash of heads with Sadio Mane.

Southampton
Florin Gardos missed the weekend win over QPR with a slight calf strain, according to the club’s official Twitter feed.

Tottenham
Goalscorer Nacer Chadli and left-back Danny Rose both limped off with injuries during the north London derby, according to the Tottenham official match report.

West Brom
Baggies left-back Sebastian Pocognoli was subbed off in the latter stages of yesterday’s 4-0 win over Burnley through injury.

West Ham
Mark Noble missed out on the weekend defeat at Old Trafford after picking up a calf injury in training the day before.

Any noteworthy injuries (non PL) noteworth for UCL Fantasy. Know Ibra won't play, that's it...

Was reluctant to use my wildcard this early on in the season after having a pretty positive start.
However, with Wisdom, Ramsey, Rooney, JWP all out this week and some for the forseeable future. Maybe worth it?

Proposed W/C Team (changes with highlighted by *):

    Mannone* Guzan*
Ivanovic, Clyne, N Taylor, Wisdom, Dummett,
Di Maria, Sterling, Tadic, Siggy, Downing
    Costa, Aguero, Ulloa

Easy route out if Aguero doesn't work is Aguero & Downing --> Welbeck & Silva

    Should I click that button?

      Tadic
      Downing
      Aguero

      are the additional new boys.

Best defender for the next 2-3 weeks, I'll be replacing either Azpil/Pieters. (Other defenders are Taylor, PvA, & Clyne)

Leaning towards either a WH/Leicester defender, help?

Newcastle have by far the ugliest kits this season, tied in first place with Arsenal

I'm looking for advice in regards to Rooney, Ramsey and Mutch, who are all out over the next few weeks.

    My team now:

    Krul/Mannone
    Chambers/Clyne/Shawcross/Jagielka/Williams
    Tadic/Sigurdsson/Ramsey/Hazard/Mutch
    Rooney/Costa/Ulloa

    0.9 million in the bank

I'm thinking about dropping Rooney for Pelle, but welvome all suggestions. I'm not sure what to do with my midfield. Ramsey may be out for 6 weeks, and who knows with Mutch. Hazard hasn't done much, so do I transfer him for someone and then just bench Ramsey, or dump Ramsey ahead of the inevitable price drop? Gerrard? di Maria? Others? Do I beef up my back row instead?

    Any input is much appreciated.

I am pretty sure he is fine. Mourinho is playing mind games early to keep him out of International duty.

    Quick Question:
If I do Rooney and Ramsey ---> Aguero & Tadic now, but then decide to play my wildcard before the deadline. Will I then not lose my 4pt hit?

Playing catch up big time already, is gerrard a wise differential to sterling? (I'm replacing ramsey)

Everyone seems to have sterling, but is he an essential pick in your opinion?

    Thanks for any advice!

Herrera out for at least 3 weeks with a fractured rib. Now watch all his owners buy ADM as well and another price rise tonight. I am so glad I bought him in at 9.5
