Our quest to get the better of Paddy sees us turn to a couple of in-form budget Fantasy forwards, whilst Chelsea’s former Gunners skipper also comes into consideration as the two go head-to-head at the Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Leicester’s home encounter with Burnley brings Leonardo Ulloa onto our radar. The Argentine has netted in every match in front of his own supporters in the league, and with Paddy willing to offer 16/1 on Ulloa to score two or more and the Foxes to keep out their opponents, we’re willing to fork out £3, bearing in mind that Burnley have failed to score in the last five Gameweeks.

Next up is Upton Park, where the Hammers’ Diafra Sakho is looking to score for the fifth successive match in all competitions. Paddy are offering 25/1 for the Senegal star to score two or more and West Ham to register a clean sheet – with the R’s scoring just once in three road trips, we shell out £3 for the Sunday afternoon encounter.

Our bet of the week is kept for Stamford Bridge, where league leaders Chelsea play host to Arsenal. Paddy are offering 7/1 on Cesc Fabregas to score and the Blues to register a clean sheet – we reckon the Spaniard could follow the recent exploits of Frank Lampard and come back to haunt his former club ,so hand over our remaining £4.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    I have asked a few days ago but I am still really torn for captain choice;
Sterling - Easy fixture, on form BUT West Brom looking better, was **** in midweek, might be rested
Balotelli - Same for fixture, must score soon, potential big haul BUT terrible form, could be dropped
Di Maria - Everton are unpredictable, involved in lots, on form BUT poor last week, everton could be good, no rooney for support
Costa - On form, scoring every game BUT played midweek and could be rested (or subbed off), tough fixture

Any advice is good, even if only to rule one out.

    1. MARVELLUS
      • 16 Years
      11 years, 6 months ago

I would forget the top two.
Depends on your ambition, if you don't captain Costa and he does well you may drop a lot.

      • 12 Years
      11 years, 6 months ago

Costa's the only one of those that I'd even consider as a captaincy OPTION, let alone as THE captain.

Sterling's dropped off (still top player) but WBA are in form. Mario may not even start. United v Everton is tricky to predict, especially with United's inj/suspensions.

(C)osta all day long. You'll feel dumb if you don't and it all goes wrong.

sup DZ! too much FPL and finally got a weird wild dream last night of balotelli getting 3 goals and 1 assist for this GW, and i captained ulloa instead ,which got red carded. its these small little thiings that reallllllly bothers me.

what should i do chaps? capt balo, ulloa or costa?

Balo is likely to be benched. Lambert set for his first start

Better captain Ballo or you'll hate yourself for two weeks

Considering that Costa has scored all his goals from inside the box and 19 of his 21 attempts have been from inside the area, I decided to look at the team stats for attempts conceded in the box.

Arsenal rank 5th best overall (33 attempts conceded) and 4th best away from home (18 attempts conceded).

Granted that they have only kept one CS this season but I don't think Costa will get a solid return as captain this week. He may get one but I don't think it will be a high scoring affair.

Of course I might also end up with egg on my face when he gets a hatty 🙂

      I'd take one goal. That's a solid (c) pick. 🙂
