With West Brom and Man United set to see out the Gameweek tomorrow, we delve into the data from the nine matches played so far. Unsurprisingly, Man City, Southampton and West Ham’s in-form front men are on this evening’s agenda, whilst we also cast an eye over a couple of improving north London-based midfielders.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

        Indeed. One of the most consistant players being dropped because he has missed one match.

        I don't care if his manager says his legs have fallen off, if he ends up playing anyway who cares.

    Time to wake up and smell the (Costa) coffee?

    Jose Mourinho’s latest fitness report on Diego Costa has not only all but ruled Chelsea’s main striker out of Tuesday’s Champions League game against Maribor but also gives him “very little” chance of playing at Manchester United on Sunday.
    Costa’s ongoing hamstring problem kept him out of Saturday’s trip to Selhurst Park, and led to Mourinho making pointed jibes about how Spain used the 26-year-old for “big games” against Slovakia and Luxembourg “and he came back in a condition where he’s not available for his club”.
    The Chelsea manager said Costa had “little, very little [chance],” of playing against United. “I say Maribor, no chance; Man United, very little – but very little,” he said.
    Costa has defied such expectations before, however, and Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace was Chelsea’s first Premier League match this season in which the Spaniard did not start.
    But Mourinho praised the side for overcoming the absence of a striker already seen as indispensable in a hard-fought game, in which Oscar and Cesc Fabregas scored for Chelsea and both Cesar Azpilicueta and the Palace defender Damien Delaney were sent off.
    “It was good for the group to have an important victory without one player that till this moment has scored so many goals and given us so many points,” Mourinho said.

    De Gea (Myhill)
    Baines Clyne O'Shea (Wisdom, Chambers)
    Siggy Fabregas Silva Sterling Tadic
    Pelle Costa (Zamora)

    How do I get Aguero without downgrading my midfield too much? I have a WC, 1FT and 1.9m ITB.

        Was planning to do this:

        Silva -> Boyd
        Sterling -> Chadli
        Zamora -> Aguero

        however I'm not sure if the WC is worth it just for Aguero. What do you guys think?

          No player is worth a WC. Not even Kun.

          Wait till Citeh travel and return from Russia to make a call.

      Costa to Aguero....easy solution.
      If you want to keep Costa, then downgrade Silva in mid to free up funds. No need to have him when you'll have Kun for City

      Only around 8% Costa captains. His main captain ownership will be 5-20K.

                          Yeah, just thought he's an okay punt for that price bracket, not gonna be expecting a goal a game for 6.7m. I just personally feel Downing and Chadli won't get me anywhere (feels so much like Adam Johnson last season).

                It's before he got injured & managed to be in the Top 3 most attacking (attempts) for mids last year.

                With a role behind Lukaku I think 6.7 is an *OK* thing to pay with Everton's run up to Xmas.

      Costa last played on 12th October. The United game is on 26th October.

      There're exactly 2 weeks for him to rest and recover. He doesn't have a hammy strain/tear. It's just that he has had previous injuries and needs monitoring.

      I think 2 weeks are enough time to rest and recover from a tired hammy and United away is a big game.

      Don't really understand why everyone is convinced that he is a doubt. Typical Mourinho mind games imo.

        the trick was to do the switch before the deadline - as i did - then agueros points were good enough to justify whatever.

          Fair enough if you sold him last week but selling this week is madness imo as you'd definitely want him back for QPR in gw 10.

            agree - but sold him saturday morning 5 minutes before the deadline due to the daily mirror and BBC stories.

      Which of these defenders would you start this week?

      PvA (At home against Arsenal)
      Moore (Away against Swansea)
      Chester (Away against Liverpool)

      The other 2 defenders are Baines and Betrand.

      Thanks in advance!

        Chester. Bigger goal threat at set pieces of the 3 against a weaker defence.

        PvA...Sunderland will be hoping for a strong home show after the 8-0 thrashing..

        Thanks everyone for the swift response!

        Am see-sawing between PvA and Chester for the same reasons mentioned, surely Sunderland will tighten up at the Stadium of Light after they were ripped to shreds on the road?

        Then again, Liverpool's defending has left much to desire, and one does dream of Chester replicating a GW1 performance (which I missed sadly 🙁 ) against a side who can't defend if their lives depended on it.

        Decisions...decisions...

      Anyone else need a Tadic (minimum) performance out of Di Maria tomorrow?

      Dropped to 441 OR and despite having 18 points on the bench only 2 is coming off in to my first XI. But concerned about the effect of Aguero VCs and bench players hitting my OR!

            Didn't mean it as a complaint. Just genuinely interested in the thoughts of those in all kinds of positions about what points are due to come from benches and VCs and how that affects us all.

          Agreed. When people post "score check?" And have average points it's fine. But with the exact same post with a high amount they are being a fool.
