With West Brom and Man United set to see out the Gameweek tomorrow, we delve into the data from the nine matches played so far. Unsurprisingly, Man City, Southampton and West Ham’s in-form front men are on this evening’s agenda, whilst we also cast an eye over a couple of improving north London-based midfielders.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    A. Chester to 4.1 defender(won't play for a few weeks) and Costa to Aguero(-4)
    B. Hazard to Eriksen/Chadli and Costa to Aguero(-4)
    C. Sterling to Eriksen/Chadli and Costa to Aguero(-4)
    D. Forget about Aguero

Any option that involves selling Costa isn't worth it IMO. Get in Aguero some other way

Have to forget Aguero if no other way, I just have. Pointless moving Costa out for him.

Don't sell costa unless you're sure he's injured. Find a way to have both.

Just done Shawcross & Costa to Pella & Baines for a rare hit and pocketed 1.3m.

Both have amazing fixtures and are bang in form for teams on the up. Had a bit of fear about losing costa but even if he bags the odd goal in the next few tough fixtures I can't see him bagging braces or more.

Who was the ref for the Swansea Stoke game today?

In any case, Skrtel should be scared if he refs a Liverpool game. Skrtel always gets away with worse fouls than Shawcross got today.

Bottom of page, Advice on this please?

    Krul(Elliot)
    Baines/Clyne/Moreno(Hutton)(Wisdom)
    Siggy/Tadic/Sterling/ADM/Fab
    Pelle/Costa(Wood)

    I have two issues.
    1) Getting rid of Moreno, doubling up on Everton defence, bringing in Coleman?
    2) Either Costa > Aguero or Wood > Berahino/Sakho and ADM > Barkley

    1. NilSatisNisiOptimum16
      • 11 Years

Dropping ADM for Barkley is a bit nuts, considering Barkley hasn't made a move for points yet..regardless of whether it helps you get Aguero in.

    repost: bottom of last page:

Lots of people asking about Costa. I have done some research.
Marca reported Costa as being "rested"in their match report. Have also read this a few times from sources on twitter.
Jose has not said Costa is injured, Chelsea have not reported him as injured.
"Costa isn't injured. He can play. Jose wants to rest him for two weeks to prevent a future injury. Found this and Maribor games ideal."
This is a quote from a Chelsea fan on twitter who is followed by some journos that may give it some weight. (Ben Dinnery has also said the same thing but I am sure this guy just does research on twitter and google like I have done)

I know it is nothing concrete but thought I would share anyway so please don't shoot me down in flames for not having proper official sources other than the Marca comment. I believe he will play against Utd

    Foster - Mannone
    Clyne - Chambers - Naylor - Hutton - Moore
    ADM - Fab - Sterling - Siggy - Boyd
    Costa - Aguero - Pelle

    2 FTs, nothing itb

Was thinking of doing Naylor -> Jagielka and Sterling -> Eriksen

Already have Pelle so I don't think getting in Tadic as well is wise.

    Good moves?

Not my cup of tea, getting rid of Sterling is a horrible move imo.
And getting rid of Naylor when next game is LEI doesn't sound wise either.
I would do Mannone > 4.0, probably will get dropped and Foster has good fixtures except in GW 12 & 13 were Mannone doesn't help at all. And save the other FT. Good team!

I am doing my best with transfers later and still stuck in the middle.

Last week I brought Downing for 8pts
This week I bought Baines for 15pts
Before that I brought Pelle for his 9pts against QPR

I surely deserve more upturn in the ranking no?

Costa > Aguero could work if you can't afford both in your team or don't want to take hits. It all depends on your front 3 and who can 'cover' Costa's points in the next few. Personally I think a frontline of Aguero, Pelle, Welbeck would be a good way forward due to form and fixtures. Can save up those precious transfers and react to the games ahead.

    Thoughts?

Jose says he has very little chance for Sunday, but we'll see. I just ditched costa and it was tough, but this is the 2nd niggly injury of the season already. The thought of him missing odd games with CL fixtures and injuries makes it easier to come to terms with

Because he will play vs United. We've all been here before with JM. Also people would just be scampering to get him back vs QPR.

Totally agree. Costa is not "essential," especially when Mour won't play him. The best imaginable front line, when Costa is playing, includes Costa and Aguero. But that does not mean that no front line can match it in points, especially if the savings lead to points elsewhere in the team.

It really depends, can any of the Chelsea midfielders rival Costa? If so then getting rid of him may be profitable, but Costa clearly comes with a fear factor given his ownership and therefore heavy captaincy. Huge risk without the reward to go for it in my opinion.

Is Costa -> Pelle worth a -4? I think the 3 week reports might not be far wide of the mark and Pelle seems like almost as good a shout anyway, not to mention the price rises.

F***ing hate Apple's advertising to the retards in society.

iPhone 5/5s KEY advert - Look at this, your thumb can go from here to here, it's so convenient
iPhone 6/6+ KEY advert - Look, it's HUGE, so HUGE, it's amazing.

Truth is, they are a cult - or bandwagon. They are pretty much the same as Samsung/HTC but seem to cost about £250/£350 more over 2 years.

Was looking at them. But HTC One M8 it is for me, sexy phone.
