Any of these worth a -4 guys? If so which one is the best you reckon?

    A. Ivanovic > Baines
    B. Di Maria > Tadic
    C. Siggy > Chadli
    D. Do nothing

    Help appreciated.

Is it crazy to take a -8 hit to do

    Mannone > Courtois
    Moreno > Wisdom
    Cisse > Pelle

    Baines Clyne Rose
    ADM Fab Siggy Sterling
    Aguero Pelle Welbeck

Not crazy, but hasty. Great team would result, but only Cisse to Pelle likely to lead to points in the short term. So slow down and do it without the 8-point hit.

Bringing in Alcaraz seems a risky move to me. Everton supporters dont seem to rate him that much and feel that the inexperienced Browning should be given a shot. With none of Browning, Alcaraz and Distin seemingly nailed, I may avoid. Would it be wise to do so?

Costa(c) for me. And that's from someone who has gone Siggy(c) and Aguero(c) in the past few weeks. But. If he is injured, I'd want to captain an Arsenal player or back Pelle.

Is Welbeck or Cazorla captain material? Or just Sanchez?

I think the Wellbeck as (c) question has been definitively answered--you just can't count on him. We know Caz can explode, but a total punt as to when. Pelle a better bet, but why not just Aguero?

Huh? What's wrong with Welbz as a captain? He's scored against Villa and Hull and blanked against Chelsea, Spurs and City. He didn't match the Aguero/Pelle fireworks this week, but still 7 points is nothing to sniff at. In a different week he could have saved the day.

A la Sessegnon in the storied DGW? If that's what you want from a (c), fine. Not for me. A decent forward to have ticking over goals, but I would not put the armband on him. Too capable of disappearing (says the man who managed to (c) Falcao last night).

I just feel like it's too early to say that. He grabbed 12 against Villa, scored a hattrick in the Champions League. So far his output has been predictable and potentially explosive. Perfect for the armband in the right week.

Aguero's fixture is probably slightly trickier than it looks and comes after a European game?

Allardyce is a wily old fox. Fancy them to keep it tight and play on the break at home. Sunderland have got to be quaking in their boots, and Southampton should score a couple vs Stoke.

Aguero still obviously a great option with his ownership.

I have Caz in a team of players owned by less than 5% of players. Thought it was great when i saw his ownership so low but he disappoints every week. I would advise against bringing him in at all. Could you wait a few weeks for Wally?

I could even bring in Alderweireld but that would mean doubling up with Berty.

Dawson better long term. Aldy could be better for the next month. I'm not sure Gardos won't threaten his place at some point though.

Am I the only one is less aroused by buying Baines this week than last? I've missed the big haul, now he's as likely as not to go on a string of 2s as hit double figures again...

I suppose, but I find he often struggles to live up to his price tag. For long periods he can be matched by defenders in the 4.5 price range. I'm not saying he's a bad buy, I just don't see why the big haul this week should change so many peoples' minds. We KNEW he was capable of that.

stats wise, all his blanks is more to unfortunate finisher, he still gives 3 4 key passes per game.

so yeah, he is in for the season alright

    Hey, DZ.

Well, I intend to represent the Community in the Scout Picks this week, and I'm pretty confident of the bunch I've selected. So have a look at the team, and if you feel it is really going to do well, please pop up with an upvote. After all, the Community badly needs a good week more than anyone else.

I could probably make anything work in a user-driven community, but then again, I'm not that intellectual who spams his way to prove a point. After all, I do have a little bit of respect for Mark and Paul and this entire site, and know for a reason that I cannot make one as these.

        No idea about you, though.

He's going to have to show some form first. I got rid of him after GW3 on WC just at the right time...he didn't seem to be finishing as clinically as he was last year when watching him earlier this year.

Yeah I got rid when I WCed too. ADM > Ramsey would allow me to do Naylor > Coleman... Tempting if ADM's injured.

    Baines, Bertrand, Wisdom
    Siggy, Hazard, ADM, Sterling
    Costa, Pelle, Welbeck
