As always, our Sunday members’ regular delves into the data of the matches played out so far. This time around, Arsenal’s attack, Swansea’s in-form frontman, the Hammers’ raiding left-back and Southampton’s new wide man are amongst our evening assessment.
Sanchez set to rise tonight? Just got the cash to get before he does
only 72% on FFF
Tomorrow it seems. If you're strapped for cash I won't rely on price change sites even with their decent recent record.
Thanks
What's FFF?
Diego Costa + Sterling + Siggy ----> Berahino, Hazard, Sanchez?
Thinking of similar. But with Chadli instead of Siggy. So yes 🙂
I proposed Diego Costa + Sterling + Siggy ----> Sakho, Hazard, Sanchez for -8 yesterday, and people said no.
mmmm.... but if Diego Costa keeps losing in value? I dont want to knee jerk for the second time, but I want to get in both Hazard and Sanchez
Sanchez or ADM.
Who do we think will score bigger points from now on..Is this team good enough / can I make it good enough with 2FT so I can keep Costa?
Begovic McCarthy
Baines Bertrand Naylor Duff Moore
ADM Sanchez Siggy Schneiderlin Hammond
Costa Aguero Pelle
2FT 0,4 ITBSiggy > Fellani. Madness?
Yes
Is it? Siggy was waning. Is injured. Fellani very advanced. Decent run. I dunno.
Better options then Afro. Scored just 1 (ONE!) goal for Utd in PL since last summer.
Looks like I'll be doing Sterling & Welbeck to Alexis & Berahino tonight then, very tempted to throw in Di María to Hazard for a hit too.
Although I like the transfers, Sterling and Welbz could both equally score well.
Yeah, both with good fixtures but the two in bringing in are on much better form.
I don't like it but best of luck!
Doesn't look like a good move on paper to be fair, but factoring in form I reckon it should pay off.
Sterling will get points against the Toons
Anyone else considering the Fabregas/Hazard double up? Hazard looks in form and could destroy QPR.
hazard is always in form at the bridge
i was. was thingking cesc + oscar...u doing it?
Looking at Sterling to Haz and downgrading Downing or Siggy
I'm considering fab Oscar pairing
Is Oscar nailed by now? I feel he is a bit inconsistant
He is nailed for all games against bottom-14 sides, especially at home
Could be a decent punt and pretty cheap.
Thinking of swapping ADM and Pelle out for Tadic and Aguero. Any thoughts? Feels a bit odd taking out solid performers but I would like Aguero
I think at this stage I would get mane over tadic. More goal threat. Tadic dies have pens/set pieces mind.
interesting. if i do ADM to Mane i can upgrade welbeck to Aguero. Better front line i think, but leaves me with 3 southampton players
nothing wrong with triple southampton. if i could i would have 4. have you watched them play lately??
Pelle has three good games coming up. It's a mistake to move him. Ditch another striker.
yes ideally want to do welbeck > aguero but tough to find that money. Still have Costa (bit of a mistake this week!) so feel i've missed the boat on swapping him for Aguero, expect he'll be back soon and trying to fit in both. Thought Tadic could cover saints attack...
After 8-0, I don't think one Southampton attacker is enough given the upcoming opposition.
Are there any downsides to Siggy>Oscar apart from losing 0.4 of his rise-value (though that could be limited if his price falls)
mate, thinking of going w/ oscar...nut gametim sometimes an issue w him, no?
would u go oscar + cesc? 2 ftHis gametime is predictable though. He's benched away against good sides but against easy teams he starts. It's tellingwhat Jose thinks of United as Oscar started at old Trafford :p qpr and wba should be great points outputs for him
Tough next 3 but then I'd want Siggy back, so I'm sticking with in
Yeah Siggy has good fixtures after the next 3, but I think his price could drop to mitigate the losses somewhat. I have enough cash and tv to take a minor loss if it can get me more points short term if I want him back anyways
whats the educated guess for thse who will rise?
seems clyne + berahino and maybe sancez no? anyone else ..feck needed 1 more day to make sure which way to go w/ 2ft.So many talking about shipping ADM with Palace, Hull and Stoke at home in the next 5. Hasty?
I'm gonna keep i think and ship Sterling and Siggy
Planning on getting Siggy back after the next 3?
I'm really not sure. Kinda hoping Swans go on a bit of a slide i suppose because if they continue playing well and getting results Siggy will surely be at the centre of it. But Hazard and Sanchez are hard to resist this week and the thought of getting them BOTH in is mouthwatering 😀
I think so. Going to keep myself.
I think I will and hope that Sanchez has an unlucky few weeks before I plan to bring him in
Well they've also got City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Southampton away in their next 7!
At the end of the day there are so many great options in midfield this season, really hard to pick between them. The Arsenal game should provide him plenty of opportunities with the defence as it is so I'd say 4 good chances in the next 5
Yep as an arsenal fan I fear him
......and Liverpool
Yep
Coloccini + Di Maria -> Baines + Sanchez looks good right?
very
Will Sanchez rise tonight?
Is Sanchez or Ivan expected to rise tonight?
No according to FFF/FPLStats.
why would Ivan rise?
Lol
Foster Krul
Clyne Baines Rose Wisdom PvA
Siggy Fabs Sterling Tadic Boyd
Welbeck Costa Aguero
1 FT 0 ITB
What would you do? I am keeping Costa. He is going to tear QPR apart.Transfers done
Adrian
Baines Moore Gibbs (BUR)
Hazard(QPR) Fabs(QPR) Siggy Sanchez(BUR) Eriksen
Costa(QPR) Welbeck(BUR)
Subs:McCarthy,Naylor,Hutton,Barnes
Looks like ill have a huge GWLost on bottom of page
Moreno and Sterling > Baines and Haz for free? I would be doubling up with Fab but no Costa....Looks good but you might want Sterling back in a couple of weeks time.
Early thoughts on captain this week? I'm struggling to see past aguero at etihad despite arsenal and Chelsea plum fixtures
Hazard for me
Costa for me. Aguero VC
same
Is oscar a viable alternative to hazard?
No
No. Too inconsistent imo
Never do early transfers usually but had to do this due to it being exact:
Sterling>Sanchez
Begovic>Guzan
Duff>Dummet
I understand Dummet might get dropped soon. Not a big issue to me.downgrading Ivan gives me Siggy-> sanchez
should i do it?
and please suggest me the best 3.9 defender to getThat was going so well until the 3.9 def part 😆
aha ikr!
but to think i have clyne baines moore and wisdom, a 3.9 wouldn hurt sitting on 3rd bench?
Bad transfer m8...
S.Taylor 😛
Naismith to Eto'o after that MOTM display? Naismiths been poor recently
Will Siggy drop? Just enough cash to do
Siggy -> Walcott.
Mightily tempted.Too early for Walcott
Doubt Walcott will produce for a few weeks, needs to get settled back in.
Walcott will probably be getting 20 or 30 minutes at the end. Still being eased into action.
Mane or Tadic?
Won't be much between them so mane as he's 0.8 cheaper.
Funds are not an issue for me.
tadic then as he has pens/free kicks
Mane for flair and differential points! 😉
PS: I have him so am incredibly biasThe funny thing is that both my mini league rivals have Mane but not Tadic lol. But the underlying stats are brilliant, that's for sure.
Mane
front three of Berahino, Welbeck, pelle for a week. madness?
not having costa or aguero is to accommodate for a midfield of hazard Sanchez adm and fabIt is madness when the two titans are playing crap defences.
costa might not even play
Which is why I don't have him. But Kun will be my captain. I predict big points.
My team looks beautiful now:
Guzan
Baines Clyne Wisdom
Sanchez (v) Di Maria Fabregas Sigurdsson
Welbeck Aguero (C) Pelle
Bench: Gilks, Dummet, Moore, MarneyThinking about the two bonus for both Fabregas and Baines... I believe that taking all the corners for their team is really helping. A corner would count as a cross for the BPS, would it not? That is like a free 5 extra BPS points per match... Definitely makes a difference.
They both make a lot of touches and complete a lot of passes too.
Find it hilarious that so many are acting like Arsenal coverage and particularly Sanchez is vital because Sunderland kicked a couple of sitters to him.
It has NOTHING to do with that. It's because they are playing Burnley... and Burnley are toilet
4-0 minimumYeah right. So you're telling me there would be the same reaction had Sunderland not gone off the boil?
From everyone else? I've no idea. From me yeah absolutely. It's a fairly decent tactic to just see who Burnley are playing most and grab an opposition player.
Who else was a viable target from Arsenal, even without the 2 goals yesterday. Sure it's sped up the process of Sanchez rising but me getting an Arsenal player has absolutely nothing to do with Sunderland's f uck upsmost weeks*
But if Sunderland doesn't feck up Arsenal don't score. Why do you think they'll be any better against Burnley? Sunderland have been much worse.
Well the most obvious thing to point out seems to be that Arsenal will be playing at the Emirates next Saturday
Arsenal have been hopeless recently, not a hop will it be 4-0
*hope
More because they play Burnley (the worst team in the league) at home next.
He's still a great option regardless, seems to be the one to push Arsenal over the line even when they're not playing well(Hull).
Sanchez is a quality player. Price tag is high for me but at the same time, he's on fire.
Don't believe in coverage but it's clear to see that Sanchez form is building and he is becoming key to arsenal. Stats back this up. I had him well in my sites last week, wish I pulled the trigger but decided to give siggy another week whilst I assessed Sanchez v hazard
Can you not afford Sanchez then? 😉
Seriously though it's cause it's BUR (H), one of the tastiest fixtures of the seasonI can afford to upgrade my fourth mid to him so that's not it at all.
Has more to do with a midfielder being far forward enough to have those sitters gifted to him.
I'd sooner wait until Walcott is back and fit. Value for 9m as opposed to overpaying for Sanchez now.
That or wait for Ramsey to get revved up. I don't see any as value though.
Value has it's place in fantasy football ofc. It enables you to maximise your squads points potential, but sometimes you have to pay the money for the top players. Sanchez is a world class player and he will be up against a bunch of cloggers next weekend. Arsenal will create a bucket load of chances and Sanchez will probably return a double figure FPL points haul
Arsenal could well go into a shell if Burnley show up and get stuck in.
Mate.... it's a game of opinions as they say. Let's see what next weekend brings
Cheerio.
that is a massive if.
Sanchez looked good today. his movement is very good. he did get gifted 2 goals, but to be fair not every player would have scored that first one. welbeck, for example, would have missed.
Back up to 516 th overall after what I thought was a rubbish week. Just cruising along, making steady moves. No punts and no panic transfers.
Great skills. Wise strategy too. I was playing it cool, too until southampton game last week.
Similar. Yet to take a hit. Whats your team?
whats the situation with costa people? anyone care to explain...shall i transfer out or leave for qpr?
If you still have him you might as well keep him.
Keep.
No one really knows. If I had to guess, I'd say he'll be fit for QPR.
