As always, our Sunday members’ regular delves into the data of the matches played out so far. This time around, Arsenal’s attack, Swansea’s in-form frontman, the Hammers’ raiding left-back and Southampton’s new wide man are amongst our evening assessment.
Hopefully Sigurdsson ends up staying fit. Great points per cost.
Have 2FT. Best Move pls advice: Thnx!
1. 2FT Sterling + Sigur > Cesc + Oscar + (.1itb)
2. 2FT Sterling + Sigur > Sanchez + Chadli + (1.4itb)
rest of front : adm - downing - dc - aguero - pelle2
cheers. u think oscar + cesc too much? they could run riot ag qpr. and if dc doesnt play.
or option 3. 2FT Sterling + Sigur > Haz + Eriksen/orCazorla
Thought about dropping Di Maria but with Utd playing once a week and with him being their most likely to score points I decided not too.
Welbeck or Berahino as Costa replacement?
Dat guy Welbz. Not the greatest striker but with decent fixtures and some of the best playmakers around him he can do damage.
Leaning towards him too. Thanks man
Narrowed it down to two...
A) Siggy -> Boyd, Lovren -> Baines, Ulloa -> Berahino (-4)
B) Costa -> Pelle/Welbz, Lovren -> Baines, Ulloa -> Berahino (-4)
If A Boyd will be benched, if B Siggy will be benched.A as long as Boyd is not your 4th mid
Thanks, Chadli is.
Three match ban for Ivan, yes...........
doh doh doh
no
No. 2 yellows = 1 match, mid-week cup game.
😯
Really don't know what to do with Siggy (6.4) and Sterling (8.8) with 0.0 ITB. 🙁
A) Haz + 5.3?
B) Sanchez + 4.9?whats ur team ? ill help
Cheers mate!
Forster (McCarthy)
Baines, Jagielka, Bertrand (Hutton, S.Taylor)
ADM, Siggy, Milner, Sterling (Boyd)
Aguero, Diego Costa, Pellesame front 3 as me pal ! basically i have the same team as you . im not convinced on a mid for 5.3 ect ? bcus imo they are all crappy
Guzan (Krul)
Baines Clyne Wisdom (PVA , Dummet)
Di Maria , Schneiderlin , Siggy , Sterling (Cattermole)
Aguero , Pelle , Costa
thats mine ! 0 ITB 1 FTah nice!
I would advise on getting rid of PVA for maybe Chambers since Sunderland are terrible?yeah , or mayby schneiderlinn + PVA to chambers and downing for -4 ?
Sounds like a good deal too! Yes I am so tempted to sell Costa, but if he explodes Its another knee jerk haha
haha , just done sterling + siggy to Haz and jedinak
mate . Im thinking of selling costa and doubling up on Chelsea mid ? so tempting
Its a tough one this week. Sanchez is very tempting but its hard to work him in without ruining your team with no money in the bank (at least it is for me!)
What's the rest of your front 8?
ADM, Siggy, Milner, Sterling (Boyd)
Aguero, Diego Costa, Pellevery hard to tell. Not convinced with Milner and Jags. Think you can downgrade one of them to fund a Siggy/Sterling upgrade to Haz.
Cheers!!
If you had to do one...
A) Naylor > Vlaar/Hutton
B) Duff > Steven TaylorA
Thanks. 🙂
Have 5.6m in the bank after doing Costa > Berahino last week. Thinking about this slightly unorthodox move with my 2 FTs:
Sterling > Sanchez and Marney > Oscar.
I would then bench Siggy, and play this front seven:
Sanchez, Fabregas, Oscar, Di Maria
Welbeck, Aguero, Berahino
Of course, that's on the basis that Costa remains a doubt... Any thoughts?Just get rid of Siggy and get Hazard instead of Oscar, no brainer imo.
Not sure how that hadn't occurred to me, cheers!
Hazard over Sanchez you reckon?
No I meant he can get both.
Really not sure which of the 2 to get tbh, I can only get 1 unless I take a hit for Welb > Sakho/Berahino which seems silly. Was leaning towards Sanchez before the GW but still something about Haz that screams "pick me" (besides from pens). If Costa's out, Haz is even more appealing - he'll be the main man in attack, which I guess Sanchez is for Arsenal already.
Given the choice between the two I'd go Sanchez, I think his current form justifies it over Hazard's potential, though if one explodes and the other blanks, you'd be kicking yourself...I've been on Fab all season and got rid of costa during injury-gate. Very tempted to double up on Haz and Fab. Sanchez is tempting but I have got Welbeck and Wally is on the horizon....
Sterling > Sanchez is definitely happening for me, probably along with Siggy > Hazard later this week.
Oscar seems like a decent choice (especially as an upgrade from Marney!) i suppose although i'm not entirely sold on him tbh.Thanks. I think Oscar's a great player, but maybe I'm letting the fixture and ideas of 'coverage' blind me in getting him in... Could see myself wanting him out again in a couple of weeks.
I think it makes sense to do Sterling > Sanchez, then decide between Siggy > Hazard and Welbeck > Costa later on in the week, according to Siggy/Costa injury news. Sound fair enough?
Are you getting Sanchez in now, or fairly confident that he won't rise tonight?
Welbeck to pelle and stwrling to Sanchez
Interesting, ta. Pelle's probably been the player I've been most worried not to own over the last few weeks, but I'm not sure I can justify dropping Welbeck home to Burnley for Pelle away at Hull, especially with Southampton's fixtures on the turn. No doubt he will punish such blinkered thinking.
whats you're team ? I can help
DZ, can help me name 1 defender for 3rd bench,
budget = 3.9Steven Taylor I guess?
alright taylor as 1 of the candidates 😛
thanks!
my team is in trouble
help by selecting one to ditch:
1) Siggy > Diame
2) Dier > Chambers2
Sakho or Berahinho? Help lads... Cheers
Easy. Sakho is looking at up to 1 month out with a shoulder injury.
Didn't know that... Has to be Berahinho then... Cheers mate
Is Di Maria + Sterling -> Hazard + Sanchez too sideways?
Yeah I think its a bit unnecessary
Ha cheers. No idea what to do with my team! Probably a good sign I guess..
DI Maria unlucky not to get points today - created lots of chances
Urggh, I cant work out what to do with my team. Not sure who to sell really and I'm still not that convinced by Sanchez.
Thoughts on this lot?
Forster, McCarthy
Baines, Ivan, Naylor, Moore, Duff
Sterling, Tadic, Siggy, Chadlii, Boyd
Aguero, Costa, Pelle
2FT
1.6msame here Ryan... maybe get in Hazard for Sterling?
Seems a bit meh
Dillemma too since Sturridge will be back soon..
Might be better to make just one trade and carry two freebies for next week.
Naylor to Clyne/Bertrand
I already have 3 Saints. However I have considered Naylor to Chambers and carrying two frees for next week.
Sorry didn't realise that. Ha sounds good! Look at a WHM defender also fixtures are nice and they have great stats on good form!
Yeah I'm not against getting a Hammer. Will need to pay 5m which doesn't quite measure up against an Arsenal 4.6m defender. I think I'll go with Chambers, I don't have any Arsenal players so at least its something.
Ivan>Berty
Tadic>HazardSelling Tadic seems a little bit mad and Ivan has QPR this week. I guess there are other ways to waste 2FT's
One of Clyne/Berty season keeper stuff. Tadic one hit wonder stuff.
Did you see him play yesterday? he was everywhere. Forster is enough Saints defensive cover for me.
Yes I did. He was everywhere but so what? He didn't create anything straightforward. And Pelle misses loads of chances so he'll need to create a ton to consistently score well. Stoke were also very poor.
I'm not getting double Saints defence, its a stupid idea
Right, because owning the two joint runners up scoring wise in defense at 5mish is stupid. A grand total of ten players in the entire game have outscored them so far, including mids and fwds.
Its just not worth 2FT's when it involves selling Tadic and Ivan who themselves are doing quite well on the FPL ladder. I don't see a big enough gain.
Diego Costa + Sterling + Siggy ----> Hazard + Sanchez + Berahino?
Already have Aguero + Pelle..
please advise!! Can't sleep without knowing that I can only make these transfers tonightbut you'll miss out on costa if he goes mad
Why get rid of Costa Sterling and Siggy? I actually think your team would be a little bit worse if you made that trade.
True, just because Siggy (Inj, and Hard Fixtures) + Sterling (Out of form)
Siggy will be fine I think but yeah I wouldn't mind moving him on either. I think Sterling will be ok with good fixtures.
Good fixtures like qpr, HUL that just passed?
They'll come right. I certainly don't think Arsenal have been anything special lately either.
Costa is still a doubt, Sterling is not impressive without Studge and Siggy is not explosive and might even be injured. I wouldn't get rid of Sigurdsson but i'd definitely get rid of the other two.
Costa and Siggy will start in the next GW unless they are ruled out before hand. Sterling is still producing decent numbers and Liverpool still have good fixtures.
How can you possibly say that? Especially about Costa after the shenanigans of the last couple of weeks?!?
Costa trained yesterday. He should be fine.
Groin injuries that can be played on are not serious either.
Decent numbers? 12 points in four games? Hull conceded two goals pretty much against anybody...and Liverpool didn't score even one.
I'm talking about shots on goal etc. Not points
I look at points and at the fact that Liverpool is playing poorly. Sanchez is hard to ignore, especially with that low ownership.
Sanchez isn't going to get so many gifts every week. He got lucky against Sunderland.
13 points against Hull...lucky too?
No probably not. Just saying the Sunderland game flattered him a bit.
Is this for real?
I think it's a good move mainly based on money, but also on current form.
-Costa's price will drop all week as Mourhino plays his usual mind games then you could probably just buy him back at a cheaper price when he is actually fit. The only risk with this is if he actually starts vs QPR and scores well.
-Sterling's price could possibly drop 0.2 this week so if you do sell you could just get him back at probably the same price and at a time when Sturridge and co are actually playing decent football.
-Siggy is a tough one. Depends what price you got him at and if you're willing to wait for the next three hard fixtures to be over. Also has an injury cloud so could drop in price.
-Hazard will provide good Chelsea cover, has penalties and looks in form atm. Price could rise this week by 0.1. Also has penalties.
-Sanchez price will definitely rise this week and looks to be in great form! Should remain in the starting 11 until possibly Walcott starts games but this won't be for another 4-ish weeks maybe
-Berahino's price could possibly rise 0.2 this week especially now with the similar priced Sakho possibly injured. The only thing that could stop this is if Benteke scores big against QPR then the focus will shift to him instead. Berahino is also in good form and is on penalties also.
I say do the transfers!
Cazorla: no love /faith for him and 8.2 w/ 2 str8 90 min gwks, w/ ozil out?
Eh!
Cazorla has no faith in himself right now. Put two great opportunities in row Z this week.
ok
Really want to do sterling to Sanchez now but if I do and Costa is declared fit later in the week I can only do Welbeck to Costa before the Burnley game... If I hold I can do Berahino to Costa but no Sanchez then obviously...
Costa will never be 100% declared fit by Mourinho in any of his press interviews this whole season, let alone this week! It's something that you'll just have to accept as a Costa owner this whole season unfortunately.
Is it time to start thinking about the December fixture congestion? Or is it still to soon to think about getting only nailed on 180mins a week type players.
Far too early
Waaaaaaay too soon
Never too early to target those kinds of players imo, but there's still time for a few punts here and there.
Still too early i think, mid November you start grinding the cogs
Not yet, I think. Only if you find yourself in the luxury position of 2FTs and nothing to do in the near future, it's worth making sure your bench is full of nailed on, decent players.
Cheers lads
Just before I was going to get Baines, I started considering Chambers... 2FTs, 0.0 ITB
A) Siggy -> Boyd, Lovren -> Baines, Ulloa -> Berahino (-4)
B) Lovren -> Chambers, Ulloa -> BerahinoIf Boyd will just be a bench option then A), definitely.
He will indeed, thanks!
gun on ur head,
Steven Taylor or Alex Bruce?
u only have 10 second to consider.
which will be it?S.Taylor!
I'm dead.
Is Taylor nailed?
lurked around in a NEWC forums, seems that he is now
Steven Taylor
Bruce
Swansea playing C1C on Tues, hopefully presser tomorrow to clarify Siggy news. Need his flag off so he can rise and I can get 0.1 more off him if I do sell.
You've it sussed.
I think I'll keep if declared fit for weekend. He won't rise this week, people are selling.
I had a blinding November last year. Wonder will history repeat itself?
I wish you luck!
Thanks bud. I was top 100 overall for November last year won a shit load of free motm prizes and it took my into the top 300 overall love to get back to them heights.
Risers: any of these, any strong feeling that they might? would not mind having an extra day to sleep over it.
Sanchez, oscar, cesc, mane, tadic, chadlie, boydSorry Diego Costa, you aren't making my team for a while. Sanchez and Aguero are taking over.
i gotta high 5 u on this mate 😛
Ramsey another option to consider for Arsenal besides from the obvious Sanchez. Even without great form in the start of the season he racked up 26 points in his first 4 fixtures (19 in first 2).
I fully agree. I got Sanchez but if you're short on money Ramsey is another great option at a measly 8.8M.
Rambos a super option.
Can just see that happening as well come Saturday evening. Ramsey 2 goals, assist and 3BPs!
Rambowagon goes insane and everyone getting Sanchez this week does Sanchez -> Ramsey 😆
Indeed.
will ramsey get the 90 min or at least 70? he only played 3 min this gw9.
Just a quick one guys.
Team is okay but obviously need some tinkering.
Forster
Clyne Baines Chambers
Fabregas diMaria Siggy Sterling
Aguero Pelle Sakho
Sakho is a doubt but he should be back soon (?).
Sterling is not producing - only because our high expectation of him.
Siggy is out and have bad fixture.
1 FT and 2.6m ITB. Which transfers
a) Sterling -> Sanchez
b) Siggy -> Walcott (or milf at most 9m)
c) Siggy -> Chadli
d) Others
ThanksSome reports are suggesting Sakho could be out for a month, so I'd monitor that as a priority. If he's fit, then I would go for A. Really nice looking XI, though!
Woah a month. Great just right at the week I transferred him in
Cool. will just wait for his news.
Thanks
Sigurdsson might be fine. If not, benching him for a week is not too bad. Sterling>Sanchez is the best way to go. Burnley at home is very tempting.
With Siggy it's more of a form and fixtures. Although yes I can probably play Moore which is not the worst thing.
Some said Sakho out for a month!!
For transfer I would consider Sterling -> HazardScan tomorrow. Everyone is just guessing for now. Papers included.
Any NFL fans here? GB on the moneyline and overs (54.5) look decent?
No telling what will happen. Would definitely take the over though.
Bego
Baines Clyne Wisdom ( moore taylor )
sanchez fab sterling tadic
welb pelle aguero(c)
0.0 itb clinched it.
any changes would u make? What are Costa owners doing? No news whatsoever on him right?
Did no reporter ask about him after the match?!?

If anyone is looking for a decent golf tipster, follow @bannersbets😯
Nice, well done.Congrats Demi!
Cheers guys
Any other results
Anyone considering losing the double Soton defense?
Clyne could be downgraded to open up the option of bringing in a Soton mid, and he's not been getting the attacking returns we hope for recently.Yes. Forster + Clyne here.
Considering to sell one soon.I am thinking Bertrand > Azpilcueta in a couple of weeks.
I'm thinking about doing Clyne > Coleman before Southampton's fixtures turn. Just waiting to see if I can make a bit more profit on Clyne first...
No way. Not right now anyway.
