How come all the sanchez hype now? I understand he's hit a decent bit of form but very expensive considering, that much on arsenal player is quite a bit seeing as they are the most frustratingly inconsistent team to support, also his chances have been quite lucky per say

He's been the focal point of everything Arsenal does up top, it's been like this for a while now. Just hasn't converted to fantasy $ up until last week.

If international form is a good indicator of club prowess, I'd say people were just blindsided by his price & AR of course.

Agree, have your own plan and stick to it. Use this place to sound it out. Have gone for Hazard and Welbeck this week. I know not as in vogue as Sancez but like to think i know what im doing. With all that said, Sanhcez is a great player, just a bit to much price wise for me

Are you saying 8 goals in 11 games is down to luck? Until Sunderland I didn't hear much about luck and even at Sunderland work rate and forward positioning were factors as well as luck.

B4 start of season everyone think sanchez is great no? And now he has hit form and is the focal point..burnley next..everything looks good.

He is abit expensive so i will not break the bank for him. But if u can afford, why not? Not everyone has aguero or costa(i have though) so they are in a easy position to get him.

Got so many options and that's without even factoring in that Costa may actually start the QPR game. Just some preliminary ideas if you could give me your thoughts.

    Forster (hul)
Bertrand (hul), Wilson (WHM), Dawson (lei)
Cesc (QPR), ADM (mcy), Sterling (new), Siggy (eve)
Welbeck (BUR), Aguero (MCY), Pelle (hul)

    Subs: Boyd, Naylor, Moore
    2 FTs, 3.8m itb

    A: Naylor + Siggy > Chambers + Sanchez/Hazard
    B: Naylor + Sterling > Baines + Hazard
    C: Siggy + Sterling > Hazard + Ramsey
    D: Siggy + Sterling + Welbeck > Hazard + Sanchez + Sakho/Berahino

Cheers guys and of course any other suggestions more than welcome. 🙂

Is the baby being thrown out with the bathwater?
    Babies even

    Sterling/Siggi/ADM

These players are template for a reason, they are good fantasy assets who will not be easy to buy back with their elevated prices.
It tempting to see a shiny new toy and cast aside old favourites, however people havevery short memories, and none of the above players have done anything wrong to justify throwing out

Certainly disagree with ADM out. The other two I can sort of see. Liverpool are pretty woeful and Sturridge won't be back until after the international break. I downgraded Siggy this week as it was either him or Costa and I'm not 100% happy about it since he's setting up most of Bony's chances, but on the other hand he has had virtually zero goal threat recently and has tough fixtures.

While I do agree with you about ADM and possibly Sterling, although I dropped him 2 weeks ago as I don't trust his returns without Sturridge, I have to say now that Siggy is injured, he needs to go. Going into this week he has blanked in 4 out of 5 games and even though he got an assist this week, it was only a 4 pt. return. Enough is enough for me and most others.

There are so many other great choices out there, that will he really be missed that badly? He is good for assists and not proven himself as a goal scorer in the PL. I think most are looking for better, more consistent options going forward and blanking in nearly 5 out of 6 isn't a good consistent option.

Then how are u gg to get in players like eriksen sanchez etc?

As much as i agree on playing safe but sometimes u really might have to take a risk somewhere to max ur points. If u are brave enough to have done adm->sanchez last week u would be 10pts ahead. Nth points to an adm blank for all the tough fixtures..in fact he could get points..just that maybe sanchez could do better

Defensive rotation is to minimize transfers as u have players with good fixtures long term through rotating.

There need to be a mix though..like maybe clyne baines + rotation.

I start with a rotation of chester(baines gw7) ferdinand clyne taylor wisdom and have worked well so far..so rotation works especially the big teams not keeping cs

Well yeah sure but the fact that I knew I'd have 2 budget players with decent fixtures this week (Dawson/Naylor) got me at least the 1 cleanie, ditto few weeks ago with Lescott/Wilson.

Maybe I'd rather have Chambers tbh but it's not as clear as "it doesn't work".

Still yet to see a red arrow 😯 Surely the streak can't last much longer?!

        Here's the current squad:

        Foster - Krul
        Baines - Bertrand - Clyne - Naylor - PVA
Fabregas - Sterling - Di Maria - Siggy - Downing
        Costa - Welbeck - Pellé

2 FT this week and unsure what to do with it. Contemplated getting in Hazard or Sanchez for Sterling but otherwise I don't know. Is this the time I squeeze in Kun for Costa?

same here 2ft. lloks good, maybe the sanchez mov e, altho sanches both goals were quite lucky.

would u drop sigur due to injury and not so good fixture or downing?

Well I got Downing a few weeks back with the intention of playing him the next few weeks to cover for Siggy so I'll just bench this week and reassess

think im dropping sigur and sterling for my 2ft as i too got downing in case i need to play him for the DC injury.

emprerikal what do u thi k best w/ these 2 ft?

              1.2FT sigur + sterling> Oscar + Mane
2.2FT sigur + sterling> Tadic + Mane (double Sou mid!)
              3. (-4) sigur + sterling + downing > Cesc + Mane + Boyd

Answered above. Out of those I'd say 1. Also perhaps consider Downing for the next few over Mane and get Hazard?

yep. if i get haz, then id have to do sterling + sigur > Haz + 5.6 (diame/SDavis/ or jedinak)
                  what do u think?

rest of team: chadli - adm // welbeck - dcosta - aguero

Sahko ranks 3rd among forwards for points per game, so with this in mind - Costa out for Sahko and Siggy out for Sanchez worthwhile?
