    Bottomed out...

    Heaton Gilks

    Baines Clyne Bertrand Naylor Moore

    AdM Fabregas Sterling Siggy Boyd

    Aguero Welbeck Berahino

What to do this week? Currently considering...

    A) Gilks>Guzan or Foster(gives me another option and Gilks will drop in price soon)
    B) Heaton>Guzan or Foster
    C) Sterling>Hazard
    D) Siggy>Hazard
    E) Save

Haz/Fab double up could be good for QPR but with everyone loading up on Chelsea, I feel it will be 1-0 QPR 😀

The transfer would be a precursor to another as I wouldn't want to persist with both. That's my main problem with it.

Siggy's stats aren't the best and with tough fixtures to follow, I think it's best to get rid. I'm in a similar conundrum and I don't know who to get, though.

ADM to Silva could be another alternative if you can't get Hazard or Sanchez though

I really think anyone selling template midfielders will regret it. I do want Hazard but my problem is that I'm not selling Fab and I don't want that double up so I'd basically be creating an issue later. Hazard hasn't been in any kind of form FPL wise either. And the final straw is that it would keep me from affording Welbeck>Rooney next week.

There's nothing wrong in getting rid of template players when the stats dry up though. Stay ahead of the crowd! Have a look at Silva's recent stats. He has gone under the radar and with Dzeko's poor performance last week, looks nailed on to start in the #10 role for the next few fixtures,at least.

I would argue that you're looking backward whereas I'm looking forward though. After all, stats are always taken from the past.

Agreed. But I already have Aguero and Silva consistently show better in real life than FPL. For me United the only double up I'd consider in attack with Rooney and AdM. That's all down to quality. I don't care about fixtures nearly as much as quality which translates to the scoresheet.

                😀

May as well chuck my team out there and see if anyone can give me any ideas

    Forster
    Baines Clyne Moore
    ADM Sterling Chadli Siggy
    Aguero Pelle Welbeck

    McCarthy Boyd Naylor Duff

    1 FT and 5.1 ITB.

I'm now 0.1 short of my preferred moves which were S + S > Sanchez and Hazard.

I don't think there is anything in it between Hazard and Fabregas. Its a decent move in the circumstances.

In saying that I still think Sterling is worth keeping. Perhaps just selling Siggy for Hazard is the way to go.

The ultimate conservative move. Although with 5m in the bank its probably a good time to invest it.

It is, but I have no confidence in Leicester keeping a clean sheet and bringing in Chambers gives him a different option for the defence. The two weak spots in Innsie's first 11 for next week are Moore and Siggy in my opinion. I think Siggy (if fit) has shown he can produce in tougher fixtures.

I should add that I realise you probably want some Chelsea, but none of that midfield has tough fixtures next week apart from Siggy but I'm wary of advising to take him out when I am personally thinking of holding (though I own Fab, so that decision is easier for me).

Either way I don't think it warrant an FT as of right now, better of having the 2 & assessing your Chelsea assets after the QPR game. You may well need DC & 2 FT's to fit him in

      Safe:

      Siggy > Hazard / Fabregas

Punt if you had the coin would have been:

      Sterling & Siggy > Hazard & Sanchez

How comfy are you with Chadli, Spurs really are in the depths of a dip-in-form?

    RIP old post

Pretty crap GW for me w/ a whopping 37 pts (-4). So w/ a total of 4 hits this season & bad captain selections, my team has not been the producing the goods. My current plan consisting of only luxury moves (i.e, Sanchez), I think I may just keep the FT & have for the first time since Gw2, 2 FT's too ponder on about.

As it stands: (0.6 ITB, 1 FT)
    Bego/Gilks
    Baines | Clyne | Wisdom
    AdM | Hazard | Sterling | Siggy
    Pelle | Kun | Welbz

    Fodder: Pva, Marney, Duff

What do you reckon guys? Stick it out? At ease having Hazard (C) for QPR & Welbz for an upcoming double digit game at home vs Hull.

    A) Costa --> Welbeck/Berahino/Lukaku?

    C) Siggy and Costa --> Sanchez and Berahino? (-4)
    D) Something else?

Depends on how cocky JM will be. He might well leave him on the bench and play Drogba or Sschurrle up top, get 2 goals in front and not risk Costa.

But if they don't score early he might bring on Costa for a 30-45 minute cameo.

It's a risk, no matter what is said this week we won't know until gameday!

Jedinak, on Pens in a more attacking team who score more

It's hard to look past Jedinak considering he's on Pens.

However, he does play CDM whereas Boyd is a genuine attacking mid, over the course of the season you'd expect Boyd to score more points (eventually)!

      Isnt there a 0.6 difference ?

That counts for me, especiallly when Iam spending that on someone whom I dont intend to play that much.

Absolutely filthy right now. Sanchez was 78% on FPL Statistics and hence I didn't bring him in today. Now he went up and I can't afford him....

I hate this game at times :@

    To be fair:

Those spending the extra 1.4 on Sanchez are going to feel pretty bad when Walcott is back the next week and scores a brace.

    Clyne Dawson Naylor Duff Hutton
    ADM Siggy Fab Sterling Boyd
    Aguero Costa Pelle

    0.3 2 FT

I want Baines and I need some Arsenal coverage, ideas how to get there? I'm thinking Costa out to fund it but that could be madness

Seems like you have two bigger hitters up front and it hurting your team. I would wait until after QPR with Costa and in the meantime strengthen your defense in another way maybe a defender with a good fixture that you can afford. Make your big moves the week after.

Is there actually a good reason out there to pay 1.5 more for Sanchez instead of Theo Walcott? Can't think of one once Theo is starting.

      • 12 Years

Sure there is, the former has everything, current fixtures, form, goals in abundance, & no injury
While the latter will be eased in & is coming back from a horrible injury, & is unlikely to produce those famous hauls until fully fit. Everything is up in the air.

In short, the 1.4m difference is warranted

Who's to say Walcott will hit the ground running when he's back?

Sanchez already has in his first PL season and will only get better. Arsenal's only in-form attacking threat.

Captain Kun. City need to put West Brom result behind tgem. Don't be fooled by one good performance from a United defence against a Chelsea attack that rarely threatened. It's a derby. City defence is also shite. 4-4 😉

Hazard such a flat track bully. Could be brilliant. But then with Fabregas already it's a transfer which will most certainly lead to another as I won't want to persist with both.

You know, this is exactly why I transferred out Fabregas this week and brought in Eriksen. It didn't pay off for sure but I knew I'd run into this dilemma come GW10. I brought in Hazard with no doubts whatsoever now.

How has Gerrard scored the most bonus points of all the midfielders this season?! He's got more than Fabregas, Sanchez, Sigurdsson and di Maria, and even more than the most in-form strikers Costa, Aguero and Pelle! One overrated free-kick is his only thing of note in an otherwise pathetic season. by the way, I'm not a fan... 🙂

As a Fabregas owner I feel tuly blessed that Hazard doesn't have double the points that Fab does at this point in the season. People have been going over the top about Fabs performances this season. Hazard is twice the player Fab is. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger this week and if not get both then make the switch.
