As always, our Sunday members’ regular delves into the data of the matches played out so far. This time around, Arsenal’s attack, Swansea’s in-form frontman, the Hammers’ raiding left-back and Southampton’s new wide man are amongst our evening assessment.

If you are out Sakho - you've served your purpose over the last 3 gws 🙂 I'm sure I'll own you again.

Pick one for the next 3 game weeks (after that will be rotated).

    A. Downing
    B. Moses

Quick Question: Has downing had a dip in form or has he been unlucky in the past 2, plus will that continue because of sakho's injury?

    Cheers!

Dangerous, had a couple of efforts vs City, and West Ham are scoring goals.

Yeah why not - they have still got Valencia who has looked decent.

Either way, West Ham look to have more goals in them than Stoke, plus Downing's fixtures beyond the next 3 weeks are better than those of Moses.

I'm aware of the "Baines Law", but that's two weeks on the trot now that I should've captained him!

With Costa you can understand the point in trolling because many will react. Sakho is a differential pick but who has been immensely productive. So to me it is less professional trolling and more unadulterated envy.

According to The Telegraph's Matt Law, the team is concerned Sakho will be out until after the next international break, which would mean him missing matches against Stoke City and Aston Villa.

Co-owner David Gold didn't sound encouraged:

I'm worried, we will know better after the scan on Monday.

        Bego, Wanyama and Pelle.

Not happy with my midfield this GW, but potential replacements Hazard/Fabregas/Sanchez will require hits and loosing Sterling, AdM or Costa:

    Begovic - Gilks

    Baines - Clyne - Chambers - Hutton - Duff

    AdM - Sterling - Siggy - Downing - Marney

    Costa - Pelle - Aguero

Any ideas what to do with this lot - is it worth shipping Sterling or AdM for a hit to get Hazard, Fabregas or Sanchez. Hit would involve Begovic -> Foster, which should be like for like. Or better just stick with this midfield, and hope AdM and Sterling get some returns over next GW's ?

Every year we see a smaller club doing well early on in the season and then the inevitable drift away from the top 6 happens. This year though we have the Swans up above Man U, Liverpool, Everton and Spurs with West Ham and the Saints storming the top 4.

Can any of these 3 get a top 6 finish this year and start to break the mould?

Saints had the same kind fixtures at the start of the season last year - most doubled up on Boruc and Shaw/Lovren. I'd like them to keep it up, but let's see what happens when their fixtures plummet southbound.

Although Sterling->Alexis looks obvious this week, I don't think I trust Arsenal. Sterling->Hazard was my original plan even though I already have Fabregas but no Arsenal cover.

Yeah I'm cooling on the Sanchez ideal might just keep welbeck until Walcott back up and running. Still not convinced on hazard though. Looks amazing but stats are poor.

Trust me only player worth getting from Arsenal is Alexis. He delivers. Wellbeck just flatters.

I think 3 of aguero, costa, Alexis and Adm are essential to have a strong team. If you can fit in all 4 then great.

Problem at the moment is who do you trust? Usually by this point things have started to settle down a bit but all I can see is uncertainty! Arsenal do have a nice run up until Xmas, and ideally Id like Walcott for it.

RMT says Sanchez for the next couple of weeks, Hazard longer term. How far ahead are you planning?

I think Costa is putting a spanner in the works, for non-owners. No doubt we'll all want him back soon enough, so seems a little hasty and short-sighted to be shaking up the midfield.

I might just do nothing and avoid Arsenal cover all together. Will give me another week to assess Ramsey/Walcott and also give Arsenal another CL game next week.

Was thinking of doing a Sanchez too, too scary not having any Arsenal cover. Might hold though though.. we'll see

I've been very frustrated as a Hazard owner since GW1.

He has played pretty well throughout the season but hasnt served up the points.

Should've scored yesterday, and then the resulting corner leads to a Fabregas assist. I was fuming 😆

Really torn on this one, too. Want either Hazard or Sanchez, but not quite set on ditching Sterling nor AdM. Sterling may well get in the points again, and AdM fixtures turn for the better week after.

Isn't it too much CHE cover to have both of them?
I could also do direct swap with 0,0itb afterwards but I am still squinting on Sanchez ...

Anyone else in trouble if both Sigurdsson and Costa is still a doubt before the weekend? I can't really transfer Sigurdsson out since I don't have funds for a good replacement without selling Costa first.. and I can't say I have two good benchers as backup..

Same boat, but have a WC that I may use should things go wrong. I suspect both will play, but that's based on nothing!

What is is the highest price, that people can remember

    That a GK ever reached?

    A Mid reached?

    or a Fwd reached?

Not talking about just this year but from previous years as well

    Ah crap.

I forgot the small print that says that you can't sub out a player who gets a red card.

I would have loved to sub out Ivanovic's -1, as I have Zamora on my bench. Now I have to sacrifice Lamela's 2 if I'm to sub him in.

Ivan's red card and United's goal were great for the Arsenal, but not my UFPL score.

I made a comical error of having Duff (MD2) in my starting line up and Chester (MD1) in my reserves. Not even sure how that happened as I'm very methodical when selecting my line up. Cost me 5 points which is just plain annoying.

Wait for the line ups - if Zamora starts I'd sub him in for Lamela.

Arsenal more likely to compete with United than Chelsea surely

Make no mistake. Arsenal is competing with both United and Chelsea because they are both competing for the title.

Many people think that United are not competing for the title. Verily I say unto them, they are deceived.

They are only 10 points off the pace in October. They have previously won the title after being 10 points off the pace at Christmas.

It's been broke all season. Fplstatistics.co.uk been ok but they only had Sanchez at 60% last night and he rose so be no means perfect.

    What to do?

    Foster/4.0
    Baines/Cahill/Clyne/Duff/Dummett
    ADM/Sterling/Downing/Siggy/Marney
    Aguero/Costa/Pelle

    A. Siggy ----> Chadli (I can sell Siggy for 6.4)
    B. Sterling & Cahill -> Sanchez & Chambers (-4)
    C. ADM -> Hazard/Fabregas
    D. Save

Since I have 0.0 ITB if Siggy drops 0.1 I won't be able to do A.
