Not ideal taking the hit or losing Siggy but Sanchez ripping it up like a striker and how he was tipped to preseason.

Well I'm going on a rant. Where it's going wrong for Liverpool?
Gerrard, the back 5 and Brendan Rodgers.
Gerrard: 35 years old. Incapable of playing 3 games a week. He's not a defensive midfielder. Giving the contract talk and trying to dictate terms, expected more professionalism. Predictability: Naismith, Agbonlahor and Downing have all sat on him and bullied him.
Back 5: last season's problems have got worse. Lovren is the most arrogant mug you'll ever find. Most of the goals we've conceded have been down to him. Mignolet is an awful keeper too. Skrtel is okay-ish, and Sakho is our best defender. Johnson is a dog. Manquillo and Moreno are okay to be fair.
Brendan: too stubborn; sometimes good but sometimes bad. Misused the Suarez money. Lack of alternatives. 3-5-1-1 today was dreadful. Stick to the diamond. Fully support him but you can ask questions about his methods at the minuteOpen Controls#BrendanOut

They couldn't defend well last season, and this is the same. Rogers to blame imo, invested in Sakho/Lovren/Moreno, still woefully inept. Agger gone for some reason I don't quite get. Suarez gone, Sturridge injured, can't score enough this season to make up for the poor defence, & Lambert/Markovic/Can/Lallana ain't exactly settin the world alight yet. & Balotelli. That's been a bit of a mad investment. I still think Rodger's will come good tho.

Teams have worked out that Sterling is the only real threat. Balotelli's movement isn't good enough.

If he played up top and put the effort in that someone like Costa does then Sterling / Coutinho / Lallana could really do well behind him.
