I think wait until at least after the international break to make this decision. Swansea away is not an easy fixture either, so wouldn't take a -8 to get him in for this.

I sold him 3 weeks ago for Aguero but now thinking I might need to get him back in as a protectionist measure - I'm now top of my ML but everyone below me has him. I can see him doing well against Liverpool and will probably captain him for WBA at home.

No, wouldn't ditch Costa now he's fit and with god fixtures on the horizon.

Thanks for the reply guys. I am worried about selling Costa now with nice fixtures on the horizon but blanking at home to QPR plus the injury concerns and Jose might rest him when against some weaker teams with Drogba playing well and Remy possibly back next week. I'll have a rethink on this.

That actually look pretty good! You might want to consider pelle in for Costa and Fab/Hazard for Oscar. Southampton still have 3 decent fixtures and you don't really have Southampton cover. Also Hazard/Fabregas are better picks than Oscar
Oscar is gonna become Wally in a week anyway.. if wally was fit i'd snap him up straight away. hence why i dont wanna go with Fabs/Hazard. Oscar seems more expendable 🙂 .. Alderweireld will have to do for the next 2 fixtures for Soton. after LEI, villa things go really sour
To be honest the team looks solid as it is anyway! I would just prefer at least one Soton attacking option for the next couple of weeks.

Hadn't thought of that! That could be a problem as BFS loves that type of player/style. Might be a positive thing, who knows. Swings it in Charlie Austin's favour for me though off the top of my head.

have a rival who had a 70 point advantage over me 3 GWs ago - he paid too much attention to my team and tried to cover me. But that meant I was a step ahead every GW and managed to convert that 70 deficit to a 20 point lead in 3 GWs.Cheers Shifty
I have never really been on top of my money league and am not sure how to approach keeping 1st.
Taking a -12 hit on this GW was quite lucky for him as I see it, although he did pick the players on form.
But yeah, I need to play my own game and if I look back I was also 45 odd points off the lead and one GW put me on top.

My advice is play your own game. Teams will deviate in due course. Just pay heavier attention to captain picks - my mantra is to punt on players, but play safe with the captaincy.
Might not work every week but long term, it would work. I would rather 4 GWs picking an 8 point captain (ie 8x2 x 4 weeks=64 points) rather than a captain who blanks 3 weeks out of 4 but explodes in the 4th (6 points x 2 + say 16x2 = 44 points).

yeah oscar in current form is right up with the best. Some question marks over how long it will last though. He's done it in patches for years. Fwiw i do think he has turned a corner in terms of consistency for club and country
