The Gameweek rolls on with one of those “titanic clashes” between the Manchester rivals.

A potential feast for the neutral, City host United in an encounter that boasts a rich supply of attacking talent and a pair of suspect defences: there will surely be goals on offer. Fantasy managers will certainly be hoping that’s the case, with Sergio Aguero and Angel di Maria found in 25% and 38% of Fantasy Premier League squads respectively.

The team news from the Etihad finds Wayne Rooney making a return to the United lineup following suspension, with Juan Mata dropping to the bench as expected. Antonio Valencia earns a start, presumably at right-back, with Rafael missing out through injury sustained in training on Thursday. City are also forced into changes as David Silva sits out with a knee injury, while Edin Dzeko drops to the bench. Eliaquim Mangala is out of the City squad with reports suggesting that he’s nursing a hip problem – James Milner, Martin Demichelis and Stevan Jovetic all earn starts for Manuel Pellegrini. The Chilean has also been forced into a late change, with Aleks Kolarov injuring himself in the warm-up to be replaced by Gael Clichy.

The big derby clash is followed at 4pm by Tottenham’s trip to Aston Villa – a suitably stodgy dessert to follow today’s big roast.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

He refuses to play the situation / opponent.

With Yaya not the man he was last season, they are getting overrun in midfield recently, because he persists with 4-4-2

Thinking of using my WC this week to get this team (new players in caps):

    FABIANSKI (Gilks)

    Clyne BAINES Hutton DUMMETT Chambers

    Hazard SANCHEZ Siggy DOWNING WANYAMA

    Aguero SAKHO Costa

Leaves me with 0.4m in the bank.

Players out are: Begovic, Moreno, Moore, Ramsey, Sterling, Marney, Welbeck

    Would you do anything different?

Considering Berahino, but leaning towards Sakho, assuming he gets fit.

I've wildcarded something similar. I'd get rid of the Swansea players as well due to their fixtures and also I'd get Di Maria for Hazard.

        Thanks

Had Siggy since GW1, so he's increased a lot in price - makes it hard to sell him!

Not sure about Fabianski anymore actually, tough fixtures coming up.

How nailed on is Aarons? Would be a good replacement for Ward-Prowse as a bencher

Why do Pellegrini keep playing 442 when they're clearly better playing 4231?

Looks like a tight game the way both teams set up opening minutes. Maybe one goal will knick this

Best way to predict a result is to read comments on here for the first 20-30 mins.

Generally all the people getting abused right now will end up scoring.
