The Gameweek rolls on with one of those “titanic clashes” between the Manchester rivals.

A potential feast for the neutral, City host United in an encounter that boasts a rich supply of attacking talent and a pair of suspect defences: there will surely be goals on offer. Fantasy managers will certainly be hoping that’s the case, with Sergio Aguero and Angel di Maria found in 25% and 38% of Fantasy Premier League squads respectively.

The team news from the Etihad finds Wayne Rooney making a return to the United lineup following suspension, with Juan Mata dropping to the bench as expected. Antonio Valencia earns a start, presumably at right-back, with Rafael missing out through injury sustained in training on Thursday. City are also forced into changes as David Silva sits out with a knee injury, while Edin Dzeko drops to the bench. Eliaquim Mangala is out of the City squad with reports suggesting that he’s nursing a hip problem – James Milner, Martin Demichelis and Stevan Jovetic all earn starts for Manuel Pellegrini. The Chilean has also been forced into a late change, with Aleks Kolarov injuring himself in the warm-up to be replaced by Gael Clichy.

The big derby clash is followed at 4pm by Tottenham’s trip to Aston Villa – a suitably stodgy dessert to follow today’s big roast.

    Just realised i cant have both Sanchez and Baines without downgrading Costa or Aguero.

      I don't think any player is "essential," though having CAPTAIN options is the most important aspect of the game. Players who are either in rich goalscoring form or on penalties (Sanchez and Baines tick both of those boxes) and who you feel confident captaining.

      I'll be in the minority, but I feel Baines. I'm going to hold my nerve and go for Walcott in a couple of weeks time, Sanchez has just played two really soft fixtures and is unlikely to keep it up (imo!).

    If Rojo is out long term, Blackett is the only left footed CB available. Surely at 4.3 he's a decent pick with United's fixtures improving and the defence is not as bad as people think

    This FPL season is really amazing. Every week when I open the transfer page,there are so many options for example I was looking at Lukaku out for Aguero by downgrading Hazard, Then I thought I can take Rooney as well and it can work out. There's also Pelle who got excellent fixture. Every week its the same story, Most people here are unable to cover all the players giving big hauls. Its just down to which gets more ! for example many people choose sanchez ahead of Hazard this week and he got more
