Mikel Arteta is ruled out of Arseanl’s trip to Sunderland. Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid are back in training for the Hammers, though Alan Hutton remains sidelined as Villa roll up to Upton Park. Vincent Kompany is a doubt for City and is set for calf scans, Joey Barton is back for QPR as the injuries ease for Harry Redknapp, whilst Gareth Barry is doubtful after picking up leg and ankle issues for Everton in last night’s win over Lille.

Arsene Wenger will welcome Jack Wilshere back into the fold following a bout of illness. He could come straight into the engine room to replace Mikel Arteta: the Gunners skipper is ruled out with a hamstring injury. Swansea host Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium and they’ll be without Jonjo Shelvey through suspension – Spurs loanee, Tom Carroll, will likely get the opportunity to get one over on their north London rivals with a start in the Swans midfield.

Former budget favourite, Alan Hutton misses out for Villa, who mark the now-daunting trip to West Ham without the suspended Christan Benteke. The Hammers are priming Diafra Sakho for action – the Senegal striker is expected to be named in Sam Allardyce’s starting lineup after recovering from shoulder injury. Winston Reid is also available to reinforce the backline against a Villa side with a single goal in their last six.

Neil Warnock will have Damien Delaney back in his squad for the trip to Old Trafford after illness, although he’ll have to do without both Wilfried Zaha who is ineligible and skipper Mile Jedinak through suspension. United will have little sympathy – Louis van Gaal will be forced into fielding a makeshift back four against the Eagles, with Marco Rojo ruled out, Chris Smalling suspended and Rafael a doubt.

Harry Redknapp is cheered by the return of Joey Barton and Jordan Mutch in his midfield, while Nedum Onouha is also back in contention in the R’s rearguard ahead of their Loftus Road meet with City. Vincent Kompany is a concern for Manuel Pellegrini – he’s a doubt with a calf problem.

Gareth Barry is a doubt for Everton’s visit to the Statdium of Light after sustaining injury in last night’s Europa League tie – Everton are also without Antolin Alcaraz with a shoulder injury. The Black Cats also have issues with Patrick van Aanholt ruled out with, you’ve guessed it, another dislocated shoulder. Lee Cattermole also serves his first suspension of the season.

We’ve collated all this and more in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news throughout the day.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

That was the case with me, then I read something...

        Anyways, basically :

Considering the top few captain choices - Pelle, Aguero, and ADM

The player playing the worst defence is Pelle - Leicester have the worst AWAY defence(statistically and in result so far), QPR have a relatively decent one(and their form is on the rise+morale)

The player with the best form H/A is Pelle - Of the 3, he has the best form at home, overall. His home form trumps Aguero's away form.

And that is why the armband is firmly on Pelle, in a brief description. 😀

Good luck with whoever you go for mate

I agree and am going for Pelle. QPR fans are noisy and I don't see the ref giving City too many penalties like he might have done if City were at home. QPR seem to be on the up and are more solid at the back without Ferdinand

I thought you already had Yun?

I'm going with B. This is how I see it:

Most people will go for A, because of the number 1 rule: always have a player that starts. Chances are, Yun does and Moore +Hutton don't. Hutton due to injury, but Moore slight chance since he was just out of favour for a while.

B because Yun will outscore Moore/Hutton by about 1 point..2 points if you're lucky and maybe an assist if you get involved in some black magic. This is provided Moore/Hutton don't play.

On the other hand, Sterling--->Downing has many benefits. The latter is in fantastic form while the former has hit a slump, the exact same with their respective teams.

The ceiling of this transfer is a lot higher and I can see Downing outscoring Sterling this week by quite a bit, and probably over the next few as well. This cancels out and goes beyond the Moore/HUtton over Yun decision.

That's just my take on it. I may well be way off come the weekend, but that's just what I think.

City have been lacklustre in the past couple of weeks, and without Silva...Pelle has not blanked twice in a row since GW3, and was pretty close to scoring last week too..

Whether pelle blanked last week has little impact on whether he blanks this week.

Aguero's record without Silva is just as good as with.

I have both, but captaining aguero.

      Dummett.

I reckon he's more nailed on due to Santon potentially being out for longer than Williamson. Plus, Dummett is far more attacking - check out the comparison tool. Yes, there's 0.2 in it but I think it's worth it, personally.

        Torn between ADM and Kun.

Not tempted by Sakho as I doubt he'll play 90 and coming back from injury.

        Cheers.

Can't see Sanchez being a good captaincy option this GW - would you choose Aguero or ADM?

Must read aristocratic community article just published that pits the consistency kings against the explosiveness earls. http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2014/11/07/consistency-kings-v-explosiveness-earls/

Boyd, Ulloa, Moreno, Wisdom - start 2, bench 2. Thinking about running Wisdom and Boyd, not sure about the latter though.
Also, who to captain? ADM, Kun, Pelle, Sanchez - they all seem to be nailed. I think about ADM but his last 2 games were kinda awful and Kun is pretty bound to score.

Following on from Justbetters odds idea comparing Pelle (1st) with Aguero (2nd)

    Anytime: 6/5 : 8/13
    2 Goals : 6/1 : 13/5
    3 Goals: 25/1: 9/1

Also Team Betting Ston (1st) City (2nd)

    -1: 5/4 13/10
    -2: 10/3 10/3

    Over 2.5 Goals: 4/6 4/7
    Over 3.5 Goals: 7/4 6/4

From this we can see that both teams are more less just as likely to win with City more likely to win by a margin and be involved in more of a goal fest.

Also it seems that there is a huge difference in the likelyhood that Aguero will go nuts if he scores at all and also combined with team odds implies that Aguero is much more likely to be involved in a goal.

For me it answers the Aguero/Pelle captain argument
