As we brace ourselves for yet another international break, we turn to Saturday and Sunday’s fixtures and delve into the data in our first members article of the week. We assess Southampton’s chief creator and main frontman as the points start to dry up, cast an eye over Chelsea’s penalty box predator, Man City’s talismanic Argentine and Newcastle’s recent defensive displays as the clean sheets keep coming for Alan Pardew’s men.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

whilst looking for hazard stats to see if there is anything to the murmurs of an upturn lately i noticed he had 15 successful dribbles on wednesday. don't think i've ever seen more than 11 before

He's unbelievable running with the ball. Should get a few pens too as seen in the arsenal/QPR/Maribor games.

He looked good against Pool but his radar was off. He had at least 5 shots but was clearly frustrated that he couldn't convert.

Seems like Costa Siggy is a better combination than Fab Bony?

Especially if Fab is out for next GW

Both good picks, but I would prefer the first one because of the great captaincy option in Costa.

Austin because he's got a larger sample size at QPR which points to him doing well for them this season

Tough to call. Sakho is prob the slightly better player in a better team, but Austin has some lovely home games coming up and pens.

don't wanna discuss, but prefer austin.

i guess both are nailed on (austin has fewer threats, though). austin is on penalties. both have decent fixtures.

Sakho is better and plays in a better side.

Austin has pens but that's the only positive.

Has been since they stuck him in the partnership with Zamora.

Hart got off with one that fluffed kick but Austin buried his effort and one chalked off well offside.

            Looks a great option.

Sakhos minute could be reduced with Carroll back.

And I'd argue Sakho hasn't played anywhere near enough game time for the term consistency to be used.

You prefer him as an option is all.

you can argue they are the same sort of prospect. both relatively new to us as a guy who did well in the french 2nd league and a guy who did well in the english 2nd league. both at ages where their careers are on the up. both have strike partners right now which isn't always ideal, but of the pairs they are both the more direct poachers of the duos

0.1m off getting Krul in and doing Fabregas to Sanchez.

How do I get Sanchez in to this team in two moves? Thinking Pelle to Sakho or Austin? 0.2 ITB. 2 FT.

    De Gea, Gilks
    Baines, Bertrand, Chambers, Hutton, Wisdom
    Fabregas, Sterling, Sigurdsson, Chadli, Marney
    Costa, Aguero, Pelle

Welbeck and Clyne out for Costa and a 5.1 defender good for 2 FTs?

          If so, which 5.1 defender?

Currently have Baines Duff Naylor and Bruce for the other 4 defenders

Yes, for Janmaat imo, Newcastle are getting solid defensively and he is a very attacking RB

Does anyone else sometimes go back a page to check previous comments then come back to the latest page, which is fine until the page moves on but the refresh does not automatically take you there and you are left posting on your own on that page?

It's like when you suddenly look around at a party or a bar crawl and realise everyone has gone on to the next one already without you.

              You missing out.

Might actually be a good idea on match days to have a sheltered hide out on a previous page.

Or is this going to get awkward again when you tell me the popular crowd already do that 😉

Anyone else having terrible luck / making terrible decisions at the mo

Had 58pts this week but could've been so much more

          A) Went ADM (c) Aguero (vc) - can't get captain pick right lately, lost out on 14 pts
          B) Chose Schneiderlin & Chambers over Siggy & Wilson - Hindisght is 20/20, lost out on 8 pts
          C) FT this week was Moore to S.Taylor and started him - Newcastle clean sheet but Saylor doesn't play after plaing the last 3 games. lost out on clean sheet

Sad face entering the international break

Even my good decisions are bad decisions. Last week brought in Austin with a view to having him for the forthcoming good fixtures and decided eventually to play him ahead of Siggy. Yay Austin points but boo! To the loss of Siggy's larger haul

I feel your pain mate. Fantasy footy is heartbreaking. I normally would never start Schneiderlin over Siggy but had to start Chambers at the back due to my crap defence so dropped Siggy thinking it would be counter-productive as Arsenal played Swansea

Sometimes it doesn't go for you. Its not too smart to not captain Aguero when he's on his current form though 😉

Unlucky with Siggy too, didn't think he deserved 9 points, but thats what 1 FK does right... I got 11 points from Baines for a penalty though lol

Nice one on Baines, really want him in my team, just can't afford right now.

With Aguero, after watching how bad City were in Europe I decided to put the armband on ADM at home to Palace. Captained Aguero two GW's back, the week after he hit 4 past Spurs and he blanked. Then captained Costa last week over Aguero and Costa blanked and Kun scored. Just can't get it right at the mo.

          How does this look?

          Currently 1FT 1.7itb

          GW12: Fabregas>Sanchez (0.3itb)
          GW13: Tadic>Boyd, Pelle>Costa (-4) (0.7itb, for Clyne>Azpi?)

          GW13 team:
          Krul (Begovic)
          Chambers Naylor Baines (Wisdom Clyne)
          Sterling Oscar Sanchez Downing (Boyd)
          Aguero Costa Austin

Looks good, though Chelsea's defense will probably continue to leak goals as long as Fabregas plays in that pivot role with Matic so maybe someone like Cresswell instead of Azpi?

yeah perhaps. im probably just gonna do Clyne>3.9 as my other 4 defs are solid and rotate well , and i can then use extra cash up front instead

Waking up this morning to find that Krul, Siggy, Sanchez and Baines all delivered is simply a wonderful thing. Top of the money league I go.

Well done to those who kepy Siggy, after next game week his fixtures are good and people will be scrambling to get him back in.

Question for Swans fans (or anyone who knows): Amat nailed on for Swans after he makes a full recovery?
