With the third international break of the season upon us, we’re afforded time to assess the leader contenders in the Fantasy Football Scout leagues across in a variety of games. With leagues in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Ultimate Fantasy Premier League, Sky Sports and the Fantasy iTeam (FiT) Champions League game, there’s plenty to catch up on.

Fantasy Premier League

Adam Stuckert sits atop the Scout League with a total of 758 points after the first 11 Gameweeks. Adam – who notched 72 points in the previous round of fixtures – had the likes of Tim Krul, Nathaniel Clyne, Leighton Baines, Alexis Sanchez, Sergio Aguero and captain Graziano Pelle to thank for steering him to number one in the overall standings.

Vasil Raykov is just seven points behind in second spot, or third overall. He also has the likes of Baines, Clyne, Sanchez, Pelle and Aguero on board, with Brad Guzan, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Nacer Chadli and Diego Costa amongst his starters as he racked up 89 points last time around despite, like Adam, handing the armband to Pelle. Intriguingly, Vasil is the only one of our top five to have played his wildcard at this stage.

In third spot sits Matthew Furlong, on the back of a 92-point Gameweek 11. His decision to captain Aguero paid off handsomely, with the usual suspects such as Baines, Clyne, Sanchez, Sigurdsson, Chadli and Costa all amongst the points last time around.

Matthew sits just one point ahead of both Petter Gullestad and Mariusz Fyrstenberg. Petter registered 79 points in Gameweek 11, with his decision to captain Aguero reaping rewards, whilst he also had the likes of Baines, Sigurdsson and Sanchez as part of his starting XI. Another one to hand the armband to Aguero, Mariusz delivered 82 points – he’ll be hoping his decision to retain United’s Angel di Maria will prove a differential amongst our top five.

Thanks to those five managers, we’re currently retaining our spot at the top of the League of Leagues. You can join our classic league using the code 11856-4526.

Hitesh Gulati is a new entry at number one in the Scout Members league, which sits fifth in the league of leagues. He sits fifth in the overall standings, despite deciding to ignore the consistent Leighton Baines to this point, with 749 points accrued. Peter Chesley earns second spot with a total of 731 points, just edging Matt Summers into third by a single point.

Ultimate Fantasy Premier League

Lawrence White is the leader of our UFPL Scout league, after a 99-point haul in Gameweek 11 took his total to 884 for the season – second overall. Joe Hanmer is in second spot with his total of 869 points placing him 13th in the world, whilst Geoff Shotter is 13 points further behind in third spot. To join our UFPL league, use the code 524-87.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Jason Callender leads the way in the Scout league with a total of 826 points – that’s enough for third place in the overall standings and earns him a 38-point lead over our second place manager, Ryan Hutton. Martin Smith takes third spot after Gameweek 13 of the Sky Sports offering, with a total of 782 points helping to 32nd spot overall. The winner of our Sky league, which is also top in the league of leagues, wins Β£1,000. To join up, the league name is FFScout and the code is 8009000.

Champions League

Our official Champions League game this season is the Fantasy iTeam (FiT) offering – a free, reliable and easy-to-use Fantasy football app. After four rounds of Matchdays, Daniel Lord heads the Scout League with 328 points, whilst Waleed Cherif (314 points) and Simon Gow, on 313 points, grab second and third respectively. There’s an iPad mini on offer to the winner – the league name is Fantasy Football Scout and the pin is 11155.

We’ve set up another league for those still following the official Champions League game. Simon Butt is the leader on 316 points – 28th overall – and is followed by sidharth91 and gkalaf on 315 and 313 points respectively.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Hmm tricky. Usually I would say hold but this one might actually work out in your favour this week. I would do it if prices look to change

            *hearts skip a beat.

The prices will affect me whether i can get Clyne -> Azpi next week or not.

If I can't I can always downgrade Forster instead of getting Fabianski.

Well I can get Naylor/Williams Courtois over Azpi Fabianski too since they're cheaper

I was thinking that too but was ridiculed for suggesting Courtois over Azpi lol

                Me too.

Azpi virtually having no assist potential and no baps is pretty much equal to Courtois.

THinking of doing that if I have cash.

0.7m ITB after my moves so I can do Clyne -> Azpi; Forster -> Fabianski.
Or if tight I'll Courtois Naylor/Williams

        1. Jay_

All decent moves , just see what the priority is at the time , but Swansea and Chelsea defense or even Creswell is defo the way forward up to January now

It's from a food court and marketed as Malaysian chicken curry. Has potatoes in it. Could pass as massaman but probably not in an establishment outside of a food court context

These Newcastle defensive injuries are bad news for Krul. I have the Krul/Mannone combo which I was trying to ignore but it now looks like I'll have to switch Mannone out as I can't see Newcastle keeping many cleanies without Colo. replace with Pant?

I got him in GW10 as a make weight for Sanchez with 2 FTs.
He then got dropped for no reason after being voted LEI player of the month.
Hasn't played a minute since but I've sneaking around on Fox Forum and I reckon he's back in the team for SUN.

I have Sakho but I wish I'd bought Austin instead. Mainly because QPR have fewer attacking options ( none, actually ) and so he should be a guaranteed starter. Rangers also have three games in four at home over Christmas, which is a great advantage.

I'm leaning towards Austin but it's a lazy assessment based on the snippets I've seen of them as opposed to the well thought out research of someone who is actually making that choice.

    Morning DZ.

Thinking of shipping Mane out after the Villa match. But he was benched after the last international week(gw 8) in the 8-0 thrashing of Sunderland!! Do you think Long will start ahead of Mane this time? Stick or twist this week?

I think Long will start. Likely rested for the international friendly but maybe not seeing as Keane has left the squad. Perfect time for Koeman to give Long a chance and rest Mane though without hurting anyones feelings.

Cheers. You maybe right. Although Mane was an expensive purchase and is the number 10. He maybe first choice ahead of Long every week, unless he's not match fit.

    3. Jay_
      11 years, 8 months ago

I think Long will start and Mane will cameo again and Mane will have to do some thing special in the Cameo to cement the spot , I personally wouldn't bother with him and ship him now considering their fixtures , Chadli Siggy and Downing are all cert starters and would be free up a bit of cash

Hmm that's a tough one , I chose Chadli over Siggy , but if your minds set on Siggy then it's a tricky one , if you have 2ft do it of not just wait

Am I the only once not convinced about getting in Austin vs a side who have kept 3 clean sheets in last 3 games?

Also people recommending downing this week against Everton at Goodision.. I feel like thats a nice 2 points for both right there and I want to get of downing or sakho this week on a free just for that.

You would keep Austin, sakho or downing for more than one game right? These are value players performing well for their price to free up money elsewhere and is be happy to recommend any of them on that basis. They won't score points every week and they may or may not get something out of this weekend

I am actually enjoying it, I wish there was a human element to it. Like, three people just sit down and decide the price changes and at totally random times. so zero predictability.

This place will explode, starting from Triggerlips.

Thanks for the update. I tried following the accurate changes for couple of weeks. It seems like to me that FPL towers are not following one specific algorithm. The reason is, some days, both sites get every single one right, others, not even close !

            1. Diva
              • 11 Years
              11 years, 8 months ago

I haven't been keeping a close eye this week until yesterday, but at a guess maybe FPL towers has shifted the transfer limits again (we know they do this regularly to adjust for the number of active players) and there's just not been enough changes in the international break dead zone for them to get a proper handle on them.

That may not explain Costa's change at 40-something though...

Aye, they've had a winning percentage these last 5 days though for the fallers though,

Based on what you say I might have to scratch my comment above. The fallers are the area they've struggled with most this season so if overall they're now predicting more than they're missing then that's improvement.

    Bego
    Chambers Baines Bertrand
    Downing Hazard Chadli Sanchez
    Welbeck Aguero(vc) Costa(c)
    (Mccarthy Hutton Moore Boyd)
    Already on a -8 .. (I know I know )
If the situation is the same as now my clear problem is if Baines doesn't play Hutton might not be fit and Moore might not start
Not sure what to do here sweating on Hutton hope his fit

In the same boat. Used my 2FT but I'm scared Baines won't play. I got Moore on the bench with Wisdom (who plays Chelsea).

At least you have Wisdom , possible assist chance and you've played the game correctly , I feel like the novice in me has shown and done a stupid move , let's hope Baines is fit πŸ™‚

-8 already? What were the transfers?

      1. Jay_
        11 years, 8 months ago

Did Clyne > Chambers Sunday night
Tadic AdM Berahino > Chadli Downing Costa
The first one didn't need to be done o could have afforded the the 3 without that , only reason I did Clune to Chambers was to fund
Bertand Tadic Welbeck > Yun Downing Costa
But I had 2nd thoughts and wanted to keep Welbeck
Have lost Adm, Giroud is back Baines got injured it's been a nightmare in. Break πŸ™

Cheers. Just making sure I wasn't looking at bogus info. That's a bit odd though, innit?

Getting too damn itchy over Fabregas. And this confusion isn't giving me much of a warm, fuzzy feeling about bringing Haz in.

I think Fab will play this weekend. Will wait on Hazard to spring to life first. Might miss a hual but hey it's better than a string of disappointing 2pts that those that jumped too early got

I don't know. I think it's time. I don't want to miss the first of his or Rooney's hauls as they'll be huge differentials.

    Best move here lads?

    Bank 0.0m, 2 freebies

    Krul, Elliot
    Baines, Chambers, Wisdom, Hutton, Yun
    Sanchez, Hazard, Siggy, Chadli, Albrighton
    Aguero, Costa, Pelle

Best I can come up with is either:

    A) Albrighton -> Isgrove (to bank the 0.1m), or

    B) Hutton & Pelle -> Terry/Azpil & Austin/Sakho

I do not like any of the moves, maybe only Hutton to a cheaper defender, if you like Dummett for example and save the other one

A is a waste of transfer for now, B is one week too early

I agree to an extent - Dummett less attractive now if Collo is out for a month though imo

Hutton and Pelle seem like good moves to make next week. COnsdier dropping Krul after their backline being decimated?

Yeah, that has tempted me to avoid Hutton -> Dummett and get Austin a little more.

With nothing in the bank there aren't many Krul replacements that look good this week imo

Yeah, feels like such a waste though - one dead player for another.

Starting to sway towards B as fancy CHE to improve defensively over those fixtures and Austin also has good form and fixtures so could do well too.

      A

Hutton should be coming back from injury. Rotating between three 4.0M midfielders is a great strategy. I'd rather have Pelle than Austin/Sakho right now.

    Krul
    Baines Bertrand Chambers
    ADM Downing Hazard Siggy
    Aguero Costa Sakho

    Elliot Wisdom Marney Bruce

    2FT 0.5 ITB

Looking to sort out my defence/bench.
Any advice for the next few weeks would be greatly received.
