With the third international break of the season upon us, we’re afforded time to assess the leader contenders in the Fantasy Football Scout leagues across in a variety of games. With leagues in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Ultimate Fantasy Premier League, Sky Sports and the Fantasy iTeam (FiT) Champions League game, there’s plenty to catch up on.

Fantasy Premier League

Adam Stuckert sits atop the Scout League with a total of 758 points after the first 11 Gameweeks. Adam – who notched 72 points in the previous round of fixtures – had the likes of Tim Krul, Nathaniel Clyne, Leighton Baines, Alexis Sanchez, Sergio Aguero and captain Graziano Pelle to thank for steering him to number one in the overall standings.

Vasil Raykov is just seven points behind in second spot, or third overall. He also has the likes of Baines, Clyne, Sanchez, Pelle and Aguero on board, with Brad Guzan, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Nacer Chadli and Diego Costa amongst his starters as he racked up 89 points last time around despite, like Adam, handing the armband to Pelle. Intriguingly, Vasil is the only one of our top five to have played his wildcard at this stage.

In third spot sits Matthew Furlong, on the back of a 92-point Gameweek 11. His decision to captain Aguero paid off handsomely, with the usual suspects such as Baines, Clyne, Sanchez, Sigurdsson, Chadli and Costa all amongst the points last time around.

Matthew sits just one point ahead of both Petter Gullestad and Mariusz Fyrstenberg. Petter registered 79 points in Gameweek 11, with his decision to captain Aguero reaping rewards, whilst he also had the likes of Baines, Sigurdsson and Sanchez as part of his starting XI. Another one to hand the armband to Aguero, Mariusz delivered 82 points – he’ll be hoping his decision to retain United’s Angel di Maria will prove a differential amongst our top five.

Thanks to those five managers, we’re currently retaining our spot at the top of the League of Leagues. You can join our classic league using the code 11856-4526.

Hitesh Gulati is a new entry at number one in the Scout Members league, which sits fifth in the league of leagues. He sits fifth in the overall standings, despite deciding to ignore the consistent Leighton Baines to this point, with 749 points accrued. Peter Chesley earns second spot with a total of 731 points, just edging Matt Summers into third by a single point.

Ultimate Fantasy Premier League

Lawrence White is the leader of our UFPL Scout league, after a 99-point haul in Gameweek 11 took his total to 884 for the season – second overall. Joe Hanmer is in second spot with his total of 869 points placing him 13th in the world, whilst Geoff Shotter is 13 points further behind in third spot. To join our UFPL league, use the code 524-87.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Jason Callender leads the way in the Scout league with a total of 826 points – that’s enough for third place in the overall standings and earns him a 38-point lead over our second place manager, Ryan Hutton. Martin Smith takes third spot after Gameweek 13 of the Sky Sports offering, with a total of 782 points helping to 32nd spot overall. The winner of our Sky league, which is also top in the league of leagues, wins Β£1,000. To join up, the league name is FFScout and the code is 8009000.

Champions League

Our official Champions League game this season is the Fantasy iTeam (FiT) offering – a free, reliable and easy-to-use Fantasy football app. After four rounds of Matchdays, Daniel Lord heads the Scout League with 328 points, whilst Waleed Cherif (314 points) and Simon Gow, on 313 points, grab second and third respectively. There’s an iPad mini on offer to the winner – the league name is Fantasy Football Scout and the pin is 11155.

We’ve set up another league for those still following the official Champions League game. Simon Butt is the leader on 316 points – 28th overall – and is followed by sidharth91 and gkalaf on 315 and 313 points respectively.

This 2 week wait between GWs is agonizing, especially if you've had 3 terrible weeks in a row.

I know it's early days in the season but these int. breaks are horrible...

What was your FPL goal at the start of the season?
    Where are you currently ranked?
Has your goal changed since the start of the season (due to a great/terrible start)?

What's the likelyhood of Giroud regaining his spot? I have the feeling that Wenger doesn't really rate Welbeck so much.

Will be interesting how Giroud affects Alexis's output, Welbeck & Ox are always linking up w/ him. They look up & are intent on feeding Alexis day in & day out.
Hopefully Wally & Giroud replacing the Ox & Welbz won't do too much damage since both partnerships serve the same role on the team so far.

Is there anyone else out there who doesn't have Baines?

Feeling like I'm on the out looking at all these RMT's. Or are there others hiding in the corner marking the ground in a circular motion with their foot?

“Leighton Baines could be in contention to face West Ham United next weekend after scans revealed the full-back’s hamstring injury is not as serious as first feared,” the statement on Everton’s official website, http://www.evertonfc.com, reported.

It doesn't sound like it's too severe though mate. Should be right for the week after if he doesn't play this weekend. As it isn't too severe I wouldn't be surprised if they pushed him to play as they will want a win over WHAM.

Baines' injury sounds very minor. And Aguero looks very fit this season. Costa is the only real worry and I'm going nowhere near him.

Hmm, these hamstring injuries are hard to judge. I'm sticking with Costa for a while. Think he'll get enough chances to tuck away with the assist machines in their lineup. Having said that, I have both Hazard and Costa and feel that is overkill.

Add that to the fact that Clyne and Bertrand are two of the best attacking fullbacks around and I think I want to wait and see. If they keep a cleanie this GW I imagine the casuals will keep buying anyway so the drops shouldn't be too bad.

Really not interested in Costa. On four yellows and an injury waiting to happen. Hazard seems a quality foil. And I'm thinking that's a move worth making even if Fab is fit. Will turn Berahino into Rooney next week most likely.

Just my view that with this run of fixtures , Costa and Hazard is the way forward , it's hard enough filling 1 spare striker spot to go with Aguero and Costa let alone having to feel 2, but the 2 captaincy options , sacrifice a premium mid that don't score goals and replace him with a mid that does the same and just worry about the 3rd spot

Once sturridge is back in the Liverpool side, do we think he'll be a good alternative to Costa now that there's only 0.1m difference? Already have Hazard and Azpi with no LFC coverage so I'm tempted. Not this week of course but the week after if Sturridge gets some minutes.

Wait and see with Sturridge. Looks like there are some real problems with Liverpool's style this season. It might take more than his return to fix them.

Agreed. A big part of that is the lack of cohesion and movement up front. Sturridge makes those runs so I'm hoping his return helps. Would love a frontline of Aguero-Sturridge-Austin with Sanchez-Hazard-Siggy-Chadli behind πŸ˜›

Hazard is not really chelsea's cover. Check out the num of goals and assists he is involved out of all the goals chelsea scores.

Putting that aside pool is not playing well..sturridge might be a sub etc make him not a gd option yet. Stick/get costa and then decide

Ok, I am extremely bored, I thought of working out the stats below which might be helpful.

    BONUS MAGNETS XI

BPS per Minutes Played (Minimum 900 minutes played)

    Fabianski (0.2)

    Baines (0.31) Fonte (0.26) Bertrand (0.26)

    Fabregas (0.31) Hazard (0.27) Siggy (0.27) Schneiderlin (0.24) Gerrard (0.24)

    Pelle (0.22) Berahino (0.2)

    Conclusion:
Those players played at least 10 matches of the 11. (So nailed-on and not injury prone). Those players tend to gather a lot of BPS per minute which makes them more attracted to gaining Bonus points.

Good stuff. This is where Costa falls short. Unless he scores a brace or scrapes a goal in a scrappy match he doesn't get BAPs. And there's no way he'll keep up his early scoring pace.

I agree, however, Costa in the above stats does not come up due to him playing less than 900 minutes. But if I remember correctly, Innsie did write something about Costa not scoring means no BAPs for him

My FPL just loaded in Chinese by default. All menus, player names, team names etc in Chinese, which I can't read at all.

Yet I could still navigate without any problems and knew the players by their values and points.
