The Gameweek rolls on with a pair of Sunday afternoon Premier League encounters at the KC Stadium and Selhurst Park.

We start in South London, where Liverpool return to the scene of the crime – the venue where last season’s title hopes were slain after the Merseysider’s conceded a three-goal lead to Crystal Palace.

They arrive to take on the Eagles in a far different situation, struggling for form and without a strike force seemingly fit to lace the boots of either Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge. The latter misses out once again for Brendan Rodgers’ side along with Mario Balotelli who is absent today with a groin problem. Rickie Lambert starts in the Liverpool attack, then, whilst in midfield Rodgers is without the industry of Jordan Henderson through illness. Joe Allen and Adam Lallana are drafted in as Emre Can drops to the bench.

Crystal Palace also make changes as Mile Jedinak returns from his suspension to displace the injured James McArthur in midfield. He drops to the bench along with Wilfried Zaha as Jason Puncheon earns a recall to the flank. Dwight Gayle also earns a start as Frazier Campbell surrenders his starting berth.

Later today, we focus on Tottenham’s attempts to win three points on Humberside as Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit take on Hull City in their own backyard. Fantasy managers will be looking to Harry Kane to take his opportunity up front and add to the growing arsenal of budget strikers available, whilst also hoping that claims of a Nacer Chadli knee injury prove off the mark.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          Blessing in disguise.

Despite that, he's the only good option at that price. Downing, too.

    Better option than Naylor

As a Cahill owner, I feel he's more likely not to get rested. Though I believe the only games they haven't played together was the League Cup vs Shrewsbury and a CL game? Can't remember for sure but it's no more than 2 games not started together.

Personally I'd say Cahill, but sometimes those 0.1m can be very useful. Rock, paper, scissors perhaps!

This. I can see it in like a Lampard case when he scored against Chelsea earlier on since he was a club legend but for someone like Livermore who did basically nothing at Spurs I don't get it. Except I guess if you came up through their academy as a youngun you would have a soft spot for the club in raising you along even if you didn't have a great professional career with them. I guess I can see it.

Ugh, 18 from 8, with only 3 Saints left. GW rank of 3,200,000 to drop me like a stone to 42k... Time to WC?

    Bego Krul
    Baines Clyne Naylor Chambers Wisdom
    Sanchez Sterling Tadic Downing Oscar
    Aguero Pelle Austin

Such a disastrous weekend of games :/

You need to get Pelle and Sterling out of there. Apart from that it's a top team. Everyone's had an awful week this week. You don't need to wildcard that though

Depends what you're looking to do.

Get rid of Saints + Sterling?
      Get Hazard/Costa?

P.S - Jedinak cleaned up for me today, too. 😎

Begovic Clyne Tadic sterling Pelle Downing chambers are all looking poor right now

Can't afford to persist with so much rubbish, though I'm sure I'm suffering from a very heavy case of kneejerkiness!

Begovic can rot on the bench for a bit.
Rest of your defence is fine for next week so Clyne can stay for a bit as well.
Tadic, Sterling and Downing(forgot about his injury) need shifting though.

How about them 3 to Mirallas, Hazard/ADM and Boyd for an 8 point hit.

I'm looking to do Tadic>Siggy, but maybe I should keep Tadic and sell sterling instead?

I know my defense is fine with a chambers>caulker/Yun move, but my midfield and Pelle is worrying me

      Krul
      Baines, Naylor, Chambers
      Sanchez, Sterling, Oscar, Downing
      Aguero, Pelle, Austin

That's an OK team for next week. 4/8 point hit and your team will be good.

Thanks guys for being so supportive. Pretty depressed by this GW so it helps a lot! 🙂

Ouch, and I thought my 2.7m GW Rank was bad! 🙁

WC doesn't look like a bad idea but I wouldn't overreact. Maybe just a 4pt hit to get Costa in?

I'm very tempted as I can get Costa haz adm Aguero Siggy Aguero and Baines in right now, and this GW was so poor

Need to find a way to get Costa in but will probably wait to see what saints do tomorrow
