As a West Ham fan I would be a bit concerned with Downing in your teams. He played ok but we really miss Valencia and Sakho. Carroll can't hit a barn door and Downing only really started to get into the game once Zarate came on late into the second half.
It was all very much hit and hope stuff and if that carries on I might look to get rid of Downing.-
Is there much better at his price though, he plays better away when team is set for the counter. Obviously he won't score points every game but he's been impressive so far

He needs the pace of Valencia and Sakho, I can't see us countering very well with Carroll. No offence to him or anything but he doesnt offer much other than hopeful lumps into the box.
