A disappointing Gameweek 15 finally comes to its conclusion this evening as Southampton brace themselves for the visit of in-form Man United. Louis van Gaal’s side roll up to St Mary’s on the back of four successive wins and will be looking to take advantage of their injury-hit hosts.

Despite the loss of Angel Di Maria to a hamstring complaint, United will be confident of another victory after Wayne Rooney recovered from a knee problem late last week. The Red Devils skipper has scored in each of his last two league appearances and has the chance to stake a claim as a possible replacement for Sergio Aguero in our three-man frontlines tonight.

Robin van Persie, Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini have all been amongst the goals in the last two matches and have the platform to cement a place in Fantasy managers’ thoughts ahead of Gameweek 16.

For the Saints, Ronald Koeman faces a tough task to steady the ship. Southampton have lost each of the last two without finding the net, and with the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin, Jack Cork and Toby Alderweireld ruled out, a ninth clean sheet of the season looks hard to come by.

The misfiring Graziano Pelle – still owned by 22% of Fantasy Premier League managers – attempts to score for the first time in seven Gameweeks this evening, whilst the inconsistent Dusan Tadic may struggle to improve upon a record which has seen him blank in 10 of his 14 league appearances.

I don't think so. He's playing high up the pitch and has been getting in the box now and then, but United in general didn't produce much apart from the 2 goals.

      Costa is the sensible choice.

      Bony next

      Sakho next

      Then benteke

Rooney is waaaay down the list...but I have him.

Costa, the 11m man who isn't on pens and who hasn't had more than 7 points in 11 gameweeks?

        yeah sensible 😉

This match has literally messed my plans up...

Was so set on Costa but now RVP crops up 😡

But now that I look at United's fixtures I really don't like their next few weeks except Newcastle.

Might just wait and get him on the January WC...

  16. Obi Wan Elokobi

Surely Falcao isn't going to sit on the bench much longer for United.

RvP the best option to replace Aguero? I already have Bony and Sakho in my squad
