Is it
a - the centroid of all the positions they have when they touch the ball
b - the average position - counting every second
c - the average position - counting every second the ball is in play
d - something else
Somebody knows?

I was wondering this the other day, what if someone plays right wing first half and left wing second half. Would their average position be somewhere in the middle?Should be, which is not really that informative - a heat map would be better for that scenario.

The other way around imo, Alexis is far more important for Arsenal. The real concern is if Walcott could start and Alexis rest.. but I think its too early for him. In previous seasons, although Arsenal were shite, they were at least enjoyable to watch. This season they've been shite and awful to watch. Alexis takes too long on the ball and holds up the play. Precisely the reason why Barca ditched him. He's detrimental to good, quick passing football.
Sure he's managed to score some goals but they've come at a cost to his teammates' goals. Ramsey, Cathorla, etc have all underperformed this season because of Alexis.Wow

Hardened Baines owners know to take the rough with the smooth and leave him be. By the end of the season he will be there or thereabouts at top of charts. About this time of year is when defenses tighten all round anyway. I'm keeping for season unless he gets injured. Will use my transfers elsewhere.
