QPR’s home hitman hogs the array of impressive numbers on show from the weekend, ably assisted by stellar showings from Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Elsewhere in our regular members’ statistical digest, we examine how Man City’s tactical tweaks influenced two of their key midfielders and analyse how a pair of returning United assets are hinting at major hauls as their minutes begin to build.

Who is the best defender to bring in over the xmas period? Have 5.9 max spend and my current defense is:
Hart, Elliot
Terry, Hutton, Yun, Bartley, Wisdom
Thanks.-
Yuk, Naylor/O'Shea
-
Bartley out to Clichy imo. I did Bartley to O'Shea
-
Clichy/Kolarov/Clichy/Kolarov.....
-
Not Clichy.. pretty sure Kolarov will be used regularly while City are short up front to offer an attacking outlet.
-
Good point
-
-
-
-
Pressers Thursday?
-
christmas day?
-
Did I hear someone say Christmas?
-
-
Xmas day? No chance
-
-
Who to get rid of, rooney or Lukaku?
-
Out of those I would do Lukaku.
-
Lukaku
-
Lukaku
-
Lukaku to Benteke.
-
Rooney, I don't think the return of Falcao will enhance his prospects of playing further forward.n
-
-
Costa to Rvp?
-
I will wait. If Costa blanks tomorrow I might do it GW 19.
-
No, Costa is slightly better, have both and I'd have Costa before RVP.
-
-
Ideas? 1FT 0.8m ITB?
Foster
Davies Baines Hutton
Yaya Hazard Siggy Sanchez(C)
Austin Costa Bony-
Wait on Siggy news, save if fit
-
thanks
-
-
Siggy - Eriksen
-
-
what to do with this team?
Hart
Hutton - Azpi - Wisdom - Dummet - Yun
Sanzhes - Hazard - Downing - Siggy - Boyd
Rooney - Austin - Costa
1 ft
3-5 itb
A) Wisdom--> Zabaleta\ Demichelis
B) Boyd (4 yc) --> Lampard\ Milner (rotates well with siggy)
C) Siggy --> Silva\ ohers
D) Rooney --> Giroud\ RVP
E) Austin --> Giroud
F) Save
Toughts?-
D) for RvP
-
Save
-
C
-
-
Krul Foster
Baines Clichy Zab Duff Hutton
Siggy Nasri Sanchez Downing Marney
Rooney Costa Bony
Was going crazy and thinking of taking a (-8), but I think the only sensible move for this week would be Rooney to Falcao(c)
Old Trafford will be going crazy singing his name, with Di Maria feeding him?
What do you guys think?-
If Di Maria starts then Mata is dropped I would think and Rooney plays further forward.
-
-
How to use my FT?
3.4 in the bank
Forster
Zabaleta, Cresswell, Naylor
Yaya, Hazard, Sanchez, Siggy
Costa, Austin, Kane
Subs: Gilks, Hutton, Dummett, Albrighton-
Maybe get a Chelsea defender?
-
Thanks! Who to get, Azpi or maby Courtouis?
-
-
-
Madness to do Rooney to Giroud (c)?
-
No, could pay off
-
Interesting. I may consider that one myself
-
the problem is that its for a hit 🙁
-
Probably not worth it then as you can captain sanchez (i assume as everyone seems to have him)
-
Sanchez or Haz for me atm.
-
-
-
-
That is exactly what I'm thinking!
-
-
Nasri and Baines to ADM and Mangala. Transfer or stick?
-
Stick
-
Looks calm on the surface - but the legs(knees) are going like the clappers! 😉
-
Who looks calm? Baines? More like dead.
-
-
Silva and mangala
-
-
I am going 352.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sJqTDaOrTg
😎-
Easy tiger.
-
😀
-
-
RVP (C), Doos?
-
Nope. Cazorla, currently.
-
Cool! Thinking of getting Rvp to captain him, Sanchez seems so tired
-
He really is, I think. 🙁
-
But does it worth ditching Costa for a hit?
-
No. Although ... it is the Hammers ... 😉
-
well the Hammers will not easily concede more than two goals. As for Newcastle, they look very vulnerable at their back. *tossing a coin*
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
I might be joining you defending on the fitness of Siggy/Mirallas
-
Who dey??? 😉
-
-
343 for me
-
Front two will be?
-
Austin & van Persie.
-
Interesting. Problems when Austin is away though surely?
-
True. But his form is JAAAMMM hot!!!
-
Couldn't disagree with you there.
-
-
-
Falcao will affect rvps returns IMHO.
-
Not as much as that fecker who pretends to be the manager. 🙁
-
-
-
-
I'm thinking this too. Costa & Austin up top.
Think it's time to switch to Cazorla. Cheers for the tables, inspired me to actually create some of my own and I skewed them nicely to defend my decision to captain Hazard this week!-
😆 Good man.
Although ... you really should avoid that sort of thing. 🙂
-
-
-
Thinking Siggy & Sanchez to Silva & Cazorla to freshen things up.
Add in Hazard Eriksen & YYT and that's one Downing short of the current creative crew? -
Torres to Liverpool, what a laugh that would be. Torres and Balotelli in tandem
-
plaese help
who to captain for next 2 GWs??
1-Downing
2-Silva
3-Fàbregas
4-Sánchez
5-Pellè
6-Austin
7-Costa-
Out of that, Sanchez next week.
-
Silva then Austin.
-
-
When is the deluge of RMWWT's due to start ? I kind of like it on here at the moment.
-
Thinking Baines to Zab this week, thoughts? Is anyone staying with baines? Zab looked dangerous this week.
-
Go Zab
-
Problem is I'm sure Zabaleta will miss one of the next 2 games whilst Baines is nailed.
-
I thought this but Zab has already been rested last week which makes me think he'll play
-
True. Just a risk with 2 games in 3 days when the 2nd one is Burnley
-
-
-
Keeping Baines
-
I've waited on baines long enough so I just brought in zab. Evertons form is not good but home to stoke is a possible good point haul. Risky.
-
-
What has Michael Buble and Scott Sinclair got in common ?
-
A lack of musicality.
-
Only play at Christmas?
-
They both have a head.
-
They are both Canadian musicians.
-
The fact that i haven't seen them in years.
-
-
So anyone know anything about the prognosis on Siggy?
-
No, sadly. But as I have now transferred him out ...
-
-
All set up for next GW? Save my FT?
De Gea
Baines Chambers Naylor Bertrand
Hazard Sanchez Siggy
Costa Rooney Benteke
Downing Boyd Wisdom
Was set on Sanchez (c) til I read rest predictions on here!-
Nice team and I'm ignoring the predictions they are never based on anything
-
-
Repost apologies .. Team for GW 18, thoughts?
Pantimilion
Azpi, Hutton, Bavies
Hazard, YYT, Sanchez, Mirallas
Costa, Kane, Giroud
Hamer, Saylor, Yun, Downing-
Isn't Mirallas injured?
-
Still worth saving FT ?
-
-
Get mirrallas out man.
-
-
De Gea
O' Shea , Chambers , Taylor
Bolaise , Siggy, Sanchez , Hazard , Yaya
Austin , Costa
Gilks , Sakho , Bertrand , Caulker
Save my transfer ?-
Save but with 3 players due to depart to ACON imminently then you need to start thinking about an exit strategy before the New Year.
-
-
Still need to work off anger from getting nasri over silva. Article above just compounds this. Should i
A) do something productive to take my mind off it
B) go to the pub for the whole day
C) kick the cat-
C
-
b
-
-
Best possible 5 man midfield???
-
If all fit I'd go
ADM Sanchez Walcott Hazard Siggy-
Currently mine is:
Hazard / Silva / Di Maria / Fabregas / Sanchez
-
-
Hazard, Sanchez, Silva, Eriksen, Yaya
-
Downing hazard yaya Sanchez silva for upcoming fixtures
-
-
Wonder how many of DI Maria' shots were actually threatening, most seem to be pot shots from long range.
-
Doesn't really matter. They'll go in eventually.
-
-
Foster, Myhil
Ivanovic, Baines, Hutton, Yun, Wisdom
Hazard, Eriksen, Downing, Sanchez, Albrighton
Bony, Austin, Benteke
Thinking of doing Baines or Yun/Wisdom to Zabaleta
Piling quite a lot of money in defence but have the cash and don't want to change up my midfield/forwards
Thoughts????-
Save Baines this week
-
Yun --> Zab?
-
-
-
FPL Cup next week....
-
i sincerely hope absolutely fabregas made it in, after all that bad advice
-
it would be an injustice if he missed out
-
-
-
Thoughts guys? A bit stumped, 1.4m ITB and 2FT
Guzan Hamer
Baines Azpi Chambers Wisdom Moore
Hazard Sanchez YYT Siggy Downing
Costa Austin Sakho-
Sakho to Kane? Siggy might be still injured/ not risked.
-
Might be the best shout
-
-
-
Hmm might be looking at Caz, Giroud, Chambers triple up for QPR at home.
Merry Christmas to me.-
do you really think arsenal will hammer qpr and all 3 will be in the points?
-
obv you do but I would say no
-
I think they have a good chance. QPR poor away, Arsenal didnt' play great today, but as whole they are having more big chances than any other teams.
Also Arsenal most shots in the box over the last 4 GW's while QPR have second highest shots in box conceded.
Caz and giroud have some form
On paper it looks good. Of course I could well be trolled.
-
-
-
You'd expect QPR to be on a buzz after yesterday and Arsenal looked a bit crap today and don't seem to have a midfield at all.
-
-
Team currently:
Guzan, Elliot
Azpi, Hutton, Wisdom, Dummett, Clichy
Sanchez, Downing, Yaya, Hazard, Mirallas
Costa, Bony, Austin
1ft and 1m ITB
Which of the following would you go for out of:
A. Mirallas -> Eriksen
B. Clichy -> Zaba
C. Save transfer
D. Other
?-
If Mirallas is back save. If not then make the transfer
-
-
Looking to crack the top 200k this week
I know it's crap but I'm happy with it 🙂-
Not always about the ranking! As long as you enjoy playing, it's all good
-
The season is not even close to open you will crack the top 100 k easy if you keep calm and ignore my advice 🙂
-
That is entirely my normal situation. I have absolutely no idea what is going on at the moment, tbh.
-
be happy with it man, i'm creeping into the top 200k after a really rubbish start 🙂
-
Top work, mate - keep it up!
-
-
Honestly keep going for it! It's all about personal perspective and focus on winning those MLs.
Besides, after Jan WC, that's where the points are really won.
