The Press tend to select a few names at random at times that these just to fill pages. There is no basis what so ever for him even to be in contention for the job. Ashley will have somebody lined up as he is a very shrewd operator

Disagree. Independent very trustworthy. It's not saying he's the permanent manager, just that he'll take charge after Pardew's left

As a Newcastle fan, I'm hoping we have someone temporary until the end of the season and then Frank De Boer can come in and help us get the very best from De Jong, Janmaat, Krul etc, and get us playing well tactically and maybe even help attract a strong centre forward.

Not sure about Colo as manager though, Carver surely would step up from chewing pies after each game?

Fabregas gets a yellow for NOT diving whilst Sterling ASSAULTS someone on the field and gets nothing.

10 game ban for Sterling if FA had any balls, but him being english and playing for Liverpool will make it a non-issue.

Double standard from english press also. Had it been any foreign player then it would've been all over the front page. 10 game is over the top but 3 game ban will suffice(even though i own sterling).

Repost from bottom of page 1

With that Skrtel YC, it's back to the drawing board for me this week and Baines survives the cut...

I've decided to deal with Moore when I WC (waste of a transfer as I probably won't need him now). I'm thinking of doing Foster -> Adrian this week, who I will keep until GW23 when I plan to WC. Thoughts?

    Foster (Myhill)
    Baines, Terry, Zaba, (Hutton, Moore)
    Sanchez, Downing, Hazard, Silva (Boyd)
    Bony, Costa, Austin

I think it was a red, the point I was making that if the linesman saw anything, he would have at least called for some sort of card.

I think he did see it and just chose to ignore, I hate inconsistencies. This match is not one of those cases but after watching some games you see so many injustices you just feel like they should come and play Rock Paper Scissors or flip a coin rather than play a match. Referees either need to improve or get more help

I'm not sure if sherwood is all out attack, or whether he set us out like that last year because we had a poor defence. Never had the chance to buy anyone. If he gets it i wish him well. Seems a decent bloke.

Thanks Pellegrini for keeping schtum about Yaya's injury. Sold Siggy, who I'd had all season, for Silva instead of a straight swop for the soon to depart Ivorian. Prayed that he'd have a quiet one tonight but a 2nd gameweek on the bounce where I've taken a hit & regretted it. 🙁
