Partly, he is a bargain at the minute and you don't want to miss out on his vein of form. Play him over Boyd.

I presume my main strategy for this year's January WC is sit back and try not to use it until Aguero and / or Sturridge come back. In the meantime, Walcott should return to fitness. The WC should be, IMO, used to bring in these 3, as they are capable of changing one's season.

With Aguero out for the next few, Silva will benefit the most, and I reckon he will get a few more goals. Fabregas is a good for an assist a game, and sometimes a little more, but he tends to plateau in the second half of seasons, and you want to go with more explosive players with the likes of a solid captaincy choice (such as Aguero) being hard to find week in week out.

I am struggling with this, and am leaning towards Benteke. I do not care anymore about Benteke's more favorable fixtures. Even though Austin has not scored in the last two GWs, he is a more prolific scorer thus far this year, and cheaper.

I think it's going to be Benteke > Kane for me, and also Azpi > Terry.

Please help! Advice appreciated. Have 2FT 0ITB:

    Hart
    Baines* Ivan Skrtel Wisdom Duff
Haz Sanchez Siggy (got at 6.0) Downing (got at 5.7) Ameobi
    Costa Benteke Austin

Shocking GW so far - on 15 points before Chelsea points.

Baines has had it - would like to get Silva in but that would mean getting rid of Downing or Siggy who I have at good value and would probably be in my WC team so I don't think getting rid is a good idea? Would also like to give Benteke one more week.

    Possible options:

    A) Baines > Trippier (save FT)
    B) Baines + Siggy > Cameron + Silva
    C) Baines + Austin > Trippier + Kane with Benteke > Rooney next week
    D) Your suggestion please!

    Thanks.

Exactly, didn't really want to get rid of Austin myself until after Burnley, but given Kane's performance today and his upcoming fixtures, his price will rise whilst most other striker's will fall. No brainer from a financial and tactical point of view.

    two things learned today

1: if you have a valid starting front 8 you enjoy the options and man up if a Kane situation happens. For some Kane may just have been initally fodder that came good not unlike Boyd has done.

2: defenders may as well just get picked for assist or goal threat as picking cleanies is becoming a lottery.
