We place our faith in Tottenham’s man-of-the-moment and a couple of fit-again, Manchester-based South Americans in this week’s attempt to get the better of Paddy.

We turn to Tottenham’s home encounter with Sunderland, as Harry Kane looks to continue the form that has racked up six goals in as many league appearances. Rested for the midweek cup win over Burnley, he’s set to lead the line against a side that have blanked in seven of their ten road trips – with Paddy offering 9/1 on Kane to score two or more goals and Spurs to keep a clean sheet, we’re more than willing to make this our bet of the week and throw £4 their way.

City’s home clash against Arsenal brings Sergio Aguero onto our radar. Given that the corresponding fixture finished 6-3 to the champions last season, there could be plenty of goals in this one yet again. Paddy are willing to offer 11/1 on Aguero to score two or more goals and Man City to keep a clean sheet and with Vincent Kompany back for the hosts, we’re sticking our necks out and handing over another £3.

Our final bet is kept for Loftus Road, as United face a QPR side unbeaten in seven in front of their own fans. Louis van Gaal will be demanding a response after last week’s dire display against Southampton and with Paddy offering 5/1 on Angel di Maria to score and the Red Devils to keep a clean sheet, we’re prepared to part with our final £3.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    All set?

    Foster Myhill
    Baines Terry Clyne PvA Baird

    Kun Kane Austin

    2.6m ITB.

2.6m means I can do Baines Chadli -> up to Kompany Cesc in 2 weeks time.

Bertrand / Jones / ubers + Wally / Silva / Siggy in consideration.

Who the F would you bench here? I am so lost ... and would dearly appreciate some help. WCing in GW24 is the plan:

      Adrian (Panti)
Bertrand / Skrtl / Cresswell (Clichy, Moore)
Silva / Hazard / Sanchez / Downing (Eriksen)
      Rooney / Kane / Austin

Switching back and forth between benching Eriksen, Sanchez, Rooney and Austin; as soon as I make one change, I start emphasising another factor, and switch again...

And I would bench Eriksen easily. He's been crap since Chadli returns.

Now I've benched Sanchez o.O City home with Kompany back, not so easy even for the chilean trickster. I've never been this undecided before a gw, probably means it's more or less a coin flip on who'll do well this gw.

If form current doesn't change much in that period, I'm facing either a) change for the sake of change (which might not be for the better) or b) letting it slide (which would feel like sacrilege).

Thats one of the reasons I played mine. Got a bit of price rises and fixed my team rather than gradually changing it, losing some points and then having nothing to do come WC time 😆

              11 years, 9 months ago

😆 As I still have my first wildcard it's kinda tempting to do one crazy week where I load up on differential players with great fixtures then switch back to the regular picks the week after. 😆

    1. President John F. Keninnsie

Like Mertesacker, Wollscheid may be big, but he will not strike the fear of God into opposing strikers. At his best, he is a gifted all round defender, with excellent positioning and relatively secure heading and tackling. He can play with both feet, and can mark equally well man to man or zonally, although he can be prone to losses of concentration.

No Nasri is good or bad for Kun? Or no impact? How will City line up?
