Our Sunday delve into the members data arrives once again this evening. We cast an analytical eye over Tottenham’s goalscoring playmaker, Palace’s in-form frontman and the Magpies’ flourishing Frenchman, whilst the worrying form of Villa’s misfiring target man and United’s skipper give cause for concern.
My worst week yet, on 18 points! Dropped me from 1st to 5th in my league.
What to do with this team? Thinking about using WC?
Panti - Foster
Zab - Baines - Wisdom - Hutton - Taylor
Haz - Sanchez - Silva - Siggy - Boyd
Aguero - Austin - KaneYour team is very similar to mine....so lol let's brainstorm
Costa killed us this week for sure. majority of my league had him as Captain. Baines needs to go and waiting on Aguero to fire up again.
You already have Kun, I would swap baines out for Ivan
How many transfers? Bank?....I'm thinking Siggy out
1FT, 0 in the bank, I think WC might be needed this week, but unsure what to do.
Damn. You have both Baines and Wisdom tomorrow?
Just sell Zaba and it will all get better.Wisdom on the bench, but I bet that's going to bite me in the a**
Thoughts on this team guys?
Foster, Myhill
PvA, Hutton, Wisdom, Ivan, Bert
Sanchez, Haz, Di Maria, Chadli, Boyd
Agüero, austin, kane
1FT, 1.7itbrp. who does FFix say is rising and falling? looks like only Siggy and Jove dropping
how about that for a WC?
Ospina-myhill
koscielny-wisdom-jones-bertrand-steven taylor/yun/baird
hazard-oscar-sanchez-downing-lucus
augero-costa-kaneNo Elia?
no not really. maybe mane later
no one likes this team?
I wouldn't double with Hazard and Oscar to be honest
im currently on hazard and fab. maybe switch later sterling/cazorla/eriksen
Pick only 2 from Hazard, Oscar & Costa. Get a Chelsea defender.
Downing has horrible fixtures...Puncheon and free some money?
Cazorla's getting on my nerves.
Don't worry...Arsenal will bottle it and lose to Villa next gw
He's getting on mine so much I am looking at bringing him in. Him on pens is a pretty big swaying factor.
Thing is Wenger could well drop him. Wouldn't be the first time. Form of little consequence to him.
Eventually....but not in the near future if he keeps this up.
Wenger already said it is hard to drop Santi in his current form
Typical Wenger understatement.
He is a great FPL asset at times, and since I seem to never have him for those times, he tends to get on my nerves as well.
You were onto something there. Do you have him?
No, am wildcarding this week though (I think) so may swap out Sterling for him.
Looks like both of us should start listening to our own advice.

What a fool Sanchez for missing that penalty. Two more came after that one and he would've taken them if he scored that first one.
I don't think so. He wasn't supposed to take that one since he wasn't first choice penalty taker.
The foolish part was taking the penalty rather than missing it!
risky doubling up with sanchez?
Maybe not.
He's been a great pick for a while, should have listened to Wakey a month back and got him in.
He's on pens for a good while now, has great fixtures, assist machine and has a great longshot.
I love the man right now.Had him for a month with reasonable returns then got rid before he scored 3 goals in 2 weeks. Ooohhhh Santi Cazorrrrrrrla
I have two FTs and need two punts for next week before WC. Defender and striker.
Suggestions?Kos and Bojan
who are you current Defenders and Strikers and do u have any money in bank?
Ivan/Baines/Wisdom/Chambers/Cresswell
Costa / Kane / Austin1.7 itb
Honestly I would keep your money and perhaps try and improve your mid field.
Fab / Sanchez / Silva / Downing / Boyd
How much you worth in total as that sounds like an expensive team.
Not really big Team Value - 105.5
Bought most of those guys early. And have uber cheap GKsAh nice good job.
Foster [Hamer]
Bertrand, Terry, Wisdom [Wilkinson, Wasilewski]
Hazard, Puncheon, Sánchez, Elia [Boyd]
Agüero, Costa, Kane
That's the team I've decided on I think it's pretty solid and will work well. Think you have a solid team personally at moment and should keep what you got unless you want take a risk on someone.
I would perhaps consider swapping Downing as he has some rough fixtures ahead.
Kosc/Mert and Giroud
Kosc/Jones
Bojan/GiroudArsenal defender( Bellerend for flair) and maybe idk Defoe
Best 1 week punts before I Wildcard? (Mid & Def)
Money ain't a thang.Kosc/Jones/Wollsc
Caz imo
AJ, Moses(if fit), and Elia are good shouts tooHmmm, thanks
Wildcard activated, feels so good!
Enjoy 🙂
Great grav
I need some advice please.
A) Ings and Tadic to Gayle and Oscar
B)Austin and Tadic to Giroud and PuncheonB
Jones might rise tonight.
With that in mind, take a -4 to bring him in (Can't do it if he rises) or play Terry vs City?If you plan on keeping him for awhile them yes
Jones has good fixtures, so i would keep him for some time.
Play Terry IMO
Play Terry v City.
In the last 4 Chelsea-City PL games at the Bridge, City have scored 2 goals in total. Chelsea tighten up against their main rivals. Something it seems that Wenger has at last learned to do.There's that... And there is also the fact Jones is at home vs Leicester.
I think Chelsea will concede, perhaps not lose, but City will be coming full on.
I was thinking of bringing in Jones for Hutton anyways. If he rose, i would have to say farewell to that prospect.
It's just a matter of play Jones or Terry now. PVA, Bertrand the 2 others.
Morning fellas.
I'm about to hit the WC button - nobody rising today right? At least according to fplstats..Morning!
I think Hendo might, just might, rise.Indeed. But not one for my liking. 🙂
Looks like not a lot happening price wise atm.
@LES BLEUS
Sorry for the abrupt ending for our conversation the other day. i had an important stuff to attend to. Still, congrats for your win. Looks like you're a stud in the NBA comp 😉Hehe. We all have our lucky days 😉 No need to apologize mate. It's all fun 🙂
And thanks 🙂
here's how my draft is currently looking
Panty - Krul
Terry - Bertrand - Jones - Bellerin - Baird
Sanchez - Hazard - Cazorla - Elia - Boyd
Aguero - Costa - Kane
.4 left
(Hutton and Silva out for Jones and Cazorla)Bellerin, Baird and Elia may not be nailed much, but risky with little itb for upgrades.
*bit risky.
I am seeing little to no consideration of Fab. If Costa scores, chances are it came from Fab. Pair that with Hazard and I think you have a mighty fine part of the Blue machine. Oscar is to spotty.
Fab @9.7m needs to playing in the #10 role. Alongside Matic isn't enough.
Oscar and Fab are probably about the same average points per minutes played. Maybe I'll get motivated and do the math on that. If I am correct, then Oscar is the better pick because he frees up some money money.
so you think Costa out? because Terry is staying put and would feel strange losing Hazard
Agreed. I think Fab and Hazard frees cash and allows for a bigger bite of the Chelsea pie.
Fabregas - .06497 points per minute
Oscar - .07431Interesting. I still think that is skewed though if you took into account his recent two goal game. Before that, it was long dry spells. Fab keeps you ticking while Oscar is spotty. For the drop in price it may be worth it, but I still think Fab finishes higher considering BPS
It was very tough to make the switch. Believe me. So I know where you're coming from. I just figured I'd go with it. Oscar is still so young, so I think he only has room to improve and is a better player most likely this year than last, which may just translate into more consistency. He's just so involved in what goes on in and around the goal. I feel great about the move ultimately, due in part to the money it brings into my team.
Fair enough. I must say I gave it some thought as well, he just hasn't sold me, which probably means he will go on a tear over the next 5. Here is a question: Drop a blues defender to clear room for Costa and Aguero?
I would say that's a good idea. I prefer spending money on attackers over defenders if it comes down to it.
Foster PK save to put lipstick on my monkey gameweek
Wisdom assist CS and 3 BAPS to make mine a bit better
Baines cleanie to give me my first ever full set of defensive cleanies (in 7 seasons!)
Wow, really? I want to have a week where every player returns more than 2/3 points. Full House! 🙂
For all future Oscar owners, head my advice, I owned him for 6 Gw's where he produced nothing as I was waiting for his long overdue goal. When I finally got rid and lost my nerve, he accumulated 32 points in 3 games.
Patience is a virtue with a player like him, I'm sure many Eriksen owners know what I'm talking about hereOh god, I feel for you.
I just picked him up, and after owning him for a bit last season, I am all too aware of the possible pitfalls. I like the advanced attacking role, so I swapped Fabregas out for him. This freed up money to also allow me to trade out Fer for Eriksen.
This is starting to make more sense to me but is it worth it? I feel like over the long-haul, Fab wins guaranteed.
As I see it, Oscar and Eriksen probably get me more points than Fab and Fer.
Aye, not for the faint of heart this Oscar guy,
Good move
Is Wisdom on spot kick duties? Or corners?
If only!
I don't think so. Don't think he even goes up front for set pieces.
Berahino on pens.
Doesn't take corners, as far as I know.
Could it be the time to sell Austin? Next 7 fixtures are not promissing. Away at Stoke, Sunderland, Hull and Palace, home to Soton, Spurs and Arsenal.
I got rid for Costa. So yes IMO
He's a better pick than Kane, but people don't trust QPR.
Spurs will create more or better quality chances than QPR will for Austin. Kane is the better pick, imo.
I agree with this. Austin is on his own in QPR.
Just had to work through that on wildcard. It came down to:
Puncheon - ADM - Kane
or
Chadli - Cazorla - Austin
I went for the 2nd option. Done and dusted.
Anyone else considering colback over boyd? 100% nailed on, on corners and loves having a shot at goal. Burnleys fixtures are horrid till seasons end.
Doesn't really matter for a 5th mid to be honest. I'm considering getting Albrighton because he's that much cheaper.
It does when you need him off the bench.
I'm trying to work out a way to keep Downing as my 5th mid atm.
But is it smart?
Now they're practically the same price, yes I'd go for Colback over Boyd.
Hi guys! My first season so trying to figure some things out. How useful is the use-any-time wildcard in the latter half of the season? I ask because I think I've blown my Winter WC too early. Just slipped from 20k to 50k. Here's what I Winter WCed to:
Panti (Foster)
Bertrand - Cahill - Gardos - (Wisdom) - (Hutton)
Hazard - Sanchez - Di Maria - Sigurdsson (Boyd)
Aguero - Austin - Kane
0.0 ITB
Transferred out Costa and feeling like its a mistake! Would it be rash to use my use-any-time WC to do:
Gardos --> van Aanholt
Austin --> Costa
Di Maria --> Jedinak
0.0 ITB
Feeling like I might be kneejerking, but also that missing Costa could cost me. Any advice much appreciated!I feel you on that one. I still think Costa struggles to "blow up" consistently. With guys like Hazard and Oscars pushing for goals, it seems far more likely for Costa to continue his one goal, zero BPS hauls. During the first half of the season, Aguero was the only one who scored for City. With them 5 points behind, they cannot affort to sit on the defense. They need to attack and Aguero is the man to do it. Sit on what you have and ride it out. That extra WC could make the difference late.
Ok, thanks for the reply! That aside, do you think my team looks reasonable? Also, what sort of thing makes typically makes people play the other wildcard?
That doesn't look like a good idea. Wasting a FT for 3 transfers and 2 of them are quite bad.
Wasting a WC*
And also, that other WC will come usefull for future double game weeks.Ok, cheers! Do you think I should just ride things out then? Or is there something that requires attention ASAP do you reckon?
It's fine. Maybe it's time to ship Siggy out. Swansea are doing awful.
Ride it out. Knee-jerking never goes well. A few of those teams of great four or five game spells. You want to see how they perform over that time, not game to game necessarily.
Ok thanks guys - I'll ride it out. I'll have a look at maybe shipping Siggy (although had him from start, so tough to do!).
Just say no to Newcastle, Eddie Howe.
Hey guys! RMT, please.
Foster, Myhill
Terry, Bertrand, Wisdom, PvA, Hutton
Hazard, Sanchez, ADM, Chadli, Boyd
Aguero, Costa, Kane
1 FT, 0.6 ITB
Hold onto my FT or make a transfer? Thanks!WC done. new team assembled:
panti hamer
terry clyne PVA wisdom some 3.9-valued, non-playing rando calrissian
sanchez elia chadli fabregas santi
costa aguero kane
don't much care about how i do and where i finish so have no misgivings about shipping hazard. the only concern is the spurs double up, which might end with my hanging chadl*
yes. this is a 2k US presidential election punAnyone swapping Puncheon for Elie?
Don't do it.
No way
Wildcard?
Foster Heaton
Clyne Berty Naylor Hutton Moore
Sanchez Hazard Fab Downing Boyd
Kun Austin Kane
1 FT & 6.7m ITBHard to leave out a Chelsea defender.
Not the week to do it though. Planning on Ivan on WC next week. Want Costa and Cazorla as well. Not sure which way to go.
I would consider Terry as he is cheaper and gets just as many points.
Any likely double risers between now and deadline?
Elia
Koscielny or Jones as Cresswell replacement?
Too hard to tell with WCs active I reckon
Sorry what does that have anything to do with it haha
I just know both have good fixtures, and I want to look to move on Cresswell considering his next month is tough.
Both have good fixtures...But Jones is way cheaper and United has been pretty tight...
quick question, Silva overkill with Kun?
Yes
yeah dropped him for Caz..not sure I wanna keep but Caz could double rise
I'll have Silva + Kun for GW 24, than maybe ship Silva for ADM.
Does anyone here follow Bournemouth and/or Eddie Howe?
Whats the obsession with Puncheon?
He has had 2 good games all season! That's how this works. Elia had one good game in 4 years and everyone is buying.
I'm buying on WC..not sure I want to keep but decent punt and could definitely shoot up at his price
Indeed. I find that one much more bizarre.
Elia is pretty much playing striker, I'm willing to punt on him while Mane is away..for all you know, he usurps him with the Dutch connection
No coincidence considering the managerial change. Not like he doesn't have previous you know.
He's been a solid fantasy option at times the previous two seasons, has good fixtures and is really cheap. Compare him with Elia (Who's his main competition at that price), and he's a much more known quantity.
He was outstanding at this time last year. Maybe he will go for a repeat performance.
ADM out?
Not before Lester
No. If Van Gaal gets off his high horse and plays a 4-4-2 which seems likely, watch ADM go off.
