The Premier League have confirmed the first double Gameweek of the season earlier this afternoon. QPR’s home clash against Spurs, which was originally scheduled for Sunday March 1, has been cancelled due to the latter’s progress to the Capital One Cup Final on the same day.

The date has now been moved to Saturday March 7, with both clubs already out of the FA Cup. This means that QPR and Spurs have a blank Gameweek 27 but then follow this up with a double Gameweek 28 – Spurs will host Swansea on Wednesday, March 4, before heading to Loftus Road three days later, whilst the R’s entertain Arsenal prior to playing host to their north London rivals.

Today’s news may persuade non-Tottenham owners to steer clear for now. Mauricio Pochettino’s side face West Brom, Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham in the next four and with a blank to follow their Hammers showdown, it may well be that we turn our attentions away from the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli until Gameweek 28, when the fixtures take a turn for the better.

Charlie Austin’s short-term prospects are also questionable. The travel-sick R’s face three road trips in four (sto, SOT, sun, hul) before their blank, and whilst his home clashes with Arsenal and Spurs may deter some, it’s worth noting he’s notched against four of the top five already this season and can clearly deliver regardless of fixture.

Worth doing Sanchez > Sanchez to get me cover for the Arsenal game if Sanchez is out?

Well.. Sanchez will free up alot of funds, but on the other hand Sanchez might be back next gameweek.. is Sanchez nailed on? Also I think Sanchez has alot more touches in the final third than Sanchez

On a WC and don't want to get rid of Sanchez as I got him for 10.5.

Worth considering Walters/ Moses as a 5th mid? Seem a bit pricey at 5.2 but they have great fixtures this week (QPR) and gw27 (HUL).

Also anyone know if Walters is on pens?

    Panti (Foster)

    PVA Terry Bertrand

    *Sanchez *Fab *Siggy Boyd ADM

    *Costa Kane Kun

    (Boyd) (Wisdom) (Hutton)

As you can see I am in a bit of trouble. Probably going to take a hit. Thoughts on below or any other ideas??

    A) Siggy > Punch & Costa>Pelle/Giroud

    B) Siggy> Hazard & Costa> 6.5 striker

Pelle is a hunch I have this week, fancy Saints to put a few past Swansea

So Pogba might leave. 100M Euros is his quoted price. Seems pricey but with today's market he may well be worth it. I wouldn't take a punt on him for that much though. A rich club like Utd, Chelsea, City, Madrid will get him.

Costa will be banned for three matches with immediate effect if the charge is proven, and his hearing will be fast-tracked for Friday to ensure an outcome is reached before the huge Saturday Night Football game against Manchester City.
